pack I've been a reseller for nearly 40 years and I can't imagine my life without thrifting I've learned about a lot of things over the years and I love to share my knowledge and Adventures with you so let's go be profitable and make it fun okay this is my Goodwill number two of the day I got to one this morning right when they opened and now I'm at one at about 5:00 in the afternoon cuz that is the soonest I could get back out but that's okay as I recall they usually are loading new carts somewhere between 4 and 5:00 so this could work out really good for us CU generally the people that shop in the morning they don't come back in the afternoon they are morning Shoppers so it is senior day I'm going to go inside and I'm going to see see what I can find at 40% off let's get shop done all right you know first things first we need to get ourselves a lucky cart oh there's little ones and big ones I'll take one of these and our 50% off color is blue but that's where we are today ooh the hard goods are looking interesting let's see what we got got a little little German dude made in Japan German dude made in Japan there you go I don't even know what to say about that German dude made in Japan oh those hang on the wall interesting little project it looks like someone did what are you I feel like I've seen these before and they're they're something obviously they're something I feel like they're collectible though is what I'm saying they're beaded now this one is not priced so and I'm really not listing online and I don't know that any of my customers collect such things so if you watch and you're a one of my Shoppers and you would have bought that let me know and I'll know for next time cuz I do find them on occasion just like glass pumpkins oh gosh look $112.99 $7.99 red tag no discount see I don't I don't need anymore that bad and that's not a good resale price for me you little Ruby redness these are interesting who are you I don't know what these were for but there is a whole bunch of them and we've got a little bag of breakables see what's the maker on The Little Owl trinket it says oh it's coming out of the bag small world greetings made in Japan the Bell and the that little trinket match I'm just not really in the mood to deal with little kind of low valued stuff right now today another day you know I do it today not so much but how about piglet how about laser art piglet not broken $4.99 oh he does have a little chip on the bottom how bad yeah that doesn't really affect you do people still love piglet the way they used to though that's my concern I'm not sure okay leaving that one too I feel like I start out that way uh at this store a lot like it seems like I'm really not going to find anything and then all of a sudden boom my cart is full so let's see if that happens today and we have a little Russian nesting doll Bank from Target uh 2013 a book reading gnome are you supposed to be a turtle oh my goodness you are oh you're looks like you had some legs and they have been torn off but you still have your tail okay gosh you know I'm going to rescue this for $.99 these are a different kind they say Joy oh little bird I don't know what your your story is case collection all right let's keep looking and then we have this fish I'm assuming it's supposed to be a vase because the mouth is open and it says Gloria Gloria when did you become a fish face fish face all right I kind of like him but I don't know if I like him $4 worth I guess I like him $4 worth what am I talking about okay who are these ladies La Verona collection a little handp painted sand dollar there's nothing quite so special as the love and laughter of friends thank you dear friend for touching my heart a that's very sweet oh it's a music box that plays that's what friends are for nice but I'm also going to look at the duck art and I'm going to look at it and I'm going to ponder it and I'm going to I'm going to keep moving I do like the little shell but it's resin oh what are you that's kind of wild okay little too wild for me I think let's see is that shell yeah it's like a high relief shell sculptured plate SAA interesting okay let's keep looking okay I wonder what used to hang on this o $15.99 and it's not even complete now it would be 7 50 but it's just a piece of burlwood missing whatever would have hung on here so that will be a no for me but then we will take this guy and gosh I always forget the name of these okay I had to check the oh wait he's got a he's got his tag still Wy w n y Japan very midcentral we'll take him's a little lucky fish he's actually Metal He's brass I thought he was going to be resin huh it's kind of cool it's an arijana I used to have one of these fish it's one of the largest fishes out of South America so it's interesting that they would put it on a Chinese item I guess have them in China too I don't know I'm torn because it's metal you know what why not looks like we've got some pimpernell coasters H these don't excite me I like ones like have the flowers on them more than like locations these just I don't know I I Feel Like These are oh yeah and damaged always look at all of The Coasters when you're buying a set of coasters very often you'll find ones that have damage even though they've kind of put them all together and made put the best one on top Emerson Creek Pottery that's kind of pretty it's kind of pretty for a dollar I think I'll grab that little Jester he trying to get to these little uh Florentine pieces of art unfortunately this one is cra and this one's got cracks too and they've red tagged them so unfortunately the the condition is not good enough to pay $5 on those oh my that's heavy wow it's really heavy oh you are $4.99 I guess I could be like a candle holder it doesn't have divots say that it was like an ashtray it's quite beautiful actually I think I think I'll pick that one up it's a perfect example of something that's heavy but can fit into like a padded flat rate and shipped for around n bucks I wonder why he's got all this green verree on him he's metal it's 10 bucks Market Bazaar distributed by Target he was $22 when he was sold new he's pretty nice but I think I'm going to leave him for 10 and he's got a friend too darn it and see now that's one of those decisions based on I have some giraffe items they haven't gotten a lot of attention they haven't sold so now I really kind of think about you know giraffe items but made in Italy that is something I do like to see these are $6 each and there are three of them and I'm not exactly sure what they are I'm going to have to do a quick lookup to justify paying $6 so here's what they are mat hied and uh they're kind of all over the place in price you can get them for as low as $15 and then there was a set I mean here's five of them for 180 so I it's that's yeah I'm going to have to leave them and then I had second thoughts and then I went back in and I really scoured souls and I do find some selling for some pretty high prices so I'm going to take a chance on them at $6 each and then I'm looking to see if there's any more but I don't see any more a that's a shame little hedgehogs are cute oh they light up light up hedgies are interesting looking little dishes Ruffles ruffle Bowl okay see what this Angel is made of it is a chalkware $4.99 he's got quite a bit of damage on his head though darn it without that damage I would have picked him up but that's one of those things it's just not going to sell for a whole bunch with any kind of damage that's a hobbyist piece I could feel it as soon as I picked it up all right all right let's see we're in the Christmas section those pillows are still there they were here a couple weeks ago it's been that long since I've been at this store what we got here jumbo retail Argentina essay I think they're napkins oh yeah there's more here don't know that Christmas napkins would be a good seller oh but we do have Father's Day coming unfortunately the fish is broken oh goodness I have a feeling he just completely fell off the Shelf at some point in his life right here at Goodwill make no mistake okay see kind of like oh okay I can sell this but I'd really rather have something better oh are these more coasters I have a set that I picked up recently that are in much better condition than these these are all kind of warped so I am going to leave those and let's see is that a big styrofoam oh it is a big Styrofoam ball okay Cardinal anything Cardinal I have no trouble selling at all there everybody loves Cardinals it's a global design I'm trying to just make sure there's no cracks cuz the tape sometimes can cover things up I think I'll pick that up for my people who love Cardinals this is a pretty vase made in China I think it's vintage I don't think it's like super old it's just pretty oh and then we have an Atlant Starbucks oh broken what were they asking $4.99 see I would have paid that if it wasn't broken okay see what other goodies are here anything anything anything see if you've got a name you look Spanish or Italian but you're made in China oh I was fooled that's why you all have to pick it up up and look all right we are in the vases nothing there oh I see a little planter down there that looks interesting I'm going to go back to little Cedar box it's pretty Let's uh pull this oh no as soon as I get my hands on it yep I can feel it made in China all right well maybe there's a good planter here kind of mixed in with the fake plants sometimes that happens I don't think today is going to be that day though not today but I rounded the corner and peeking out from this other stuff was a beautiful cut to clear ashtray and I'm inspecting there's some flea bites here oh there's quite a bit of flea biting there well shoot I wonder if that would file down six makes it like four bucks you know what I'm going to give it a chance all right let's skim through the Plastics but see then there sometimes things like this show up in the Plastics prolon wear out of FL Massachusetts this is like the original melamine it's um doesn't say Mel Mac but it's on the order of the Mel Mac I just don't think that cups do a whole lot pricewise and these are little peer Liberty Bell cups also just I don't think those are worth picking up and I think that was about all I saw in the Plastics see what are these PL grapes no not a big grapes fan all right yep Plastics has failed us today see what else we've got here o that was heavier than I expected straw 10 Strawberry Street they make some good stuff I do like the quality of just about everything I pick up of theirs I I mean I say just about cuz there could have been something but I can't think of what it was for the most part I like everything I pick up by them I'm just not a plates and bowls kind of seller 2225 that's another company I love their patterns if I ever go to replace what I have I'm going to find a 222 Fifth pattern that I love and start looking for it it's a pretty pattern too let's see who this is Gibson of course it is and then I got excited cuz I'm like oh another Starbucks mug but this tell you won't break my heart I've had a really good run this week of stuff that I now need to get listed but um I've kind of been cramming too because I'm taking a trip and so I have to have everything like filmed and edited and ready to go for that trip and then loaded in the shop lead free Mexico 99 C oh there's nothing wrong with that baby let's get that all right let's see and no worries if you're watching this and you're worried that I just revealed that I'm not home I'm back home this uh this was due to air right before I got back home so all safe all right cooking stuff and they put a whole bunch of clear things together here I think this might be princess house a little ice bucket which is nice but not something I'm going to be picking up ceramic coaster why does it say guys the ones I saw selling for really good prices had at least six and now I have six got some Corning wear that's kind of a cool picture look at the design in that it's got the ice lip great for summer ice tea not something I'm going to pick up but that that's a fun find that's pretty but I can tell it's like a HomeGoods kind of a thing it's really beautiful though I must say all right now I got somebody testing a radio right in front of me but I'm thinking I have my microphone pointed away from them and I should be okay okay oh interesting do dads oh isn't this what everybody needs oh wait what was that hey why is this just making me giggle okay why and it's it's really useless okay that's hilarious what a great little gag gift I must have it all right he's tuned into to several stations now and it's working and yet he's still playing it why that's a fun little fondue set oh look at all these little individual little pots around here it's missing one that's fun hey Noah would we do fondu if we had something like that okay never nobody ever told me that I steno notebook came in blue paper why do I love that so much it's 50 cents I'm getting myself some blue paper okay these can be really good although this one just says made in China so I don't think this is one of the really good ones so I'm going to leave it but some of those that the they are silver and you need to be on the lookout for them I'm in the sporting section and it just made me remember that uh I agreed to go go carding with Noah for his birthday and I have to do that I wonder if we're going to get any footage of that you know what if we get footage of that we'll include it but I'm not sure we're both going to be driving so I'm not sure how we'll get footage of that but maybe no I can figure it out okay let's look through the lamps those are different okay nothing too exciting let's see what we've got in the art section here nothing's jumping I really would love to see him wheel out a cart full bought how much I paid I'm over here in the blankets and I found a vintage granny square but this one has been well- loved look at all the pilling it's definitely definitely been well well loved okay a nice shell jewelry I have lots of shell jewelry though I'm trying to find things that I don't already have some of nothing's really calling me in here well I think that's going to do it for us on something that I have never done and this guy is making me do it we are are celebrating his birthday by going go-karting yep mom's putting on a helmet and getting I'm I don't know that I'm going to
