DUBAI 2021- Travel Guide & Girl's Trip Vlog

traveling to dubai in 2021 definitely very different than what it used to be but that's that's everywhere and i decided before booking the flight that this is just the new normal for right now and we just have to make the most of so my ticket was about 790 i used my chase sapphire reserve points to book my flight so that was paid for using points we also stayed at the shangri-la hotel and the versace hotel also use my points to book that so you need your flight you need your hotel you need your negative pcr test not a rapid not any of those other tests pcr within 72 hours and the guidelines say that once you get to the dubai airport you have to take another kova test but they haven't required me or any of my friends to do that so so tips for booking you're going to need a negative pcr tests within 72 hours before your flight they are very specific about the hours so make sure you really do you really do count the hours and make sure you go somewhere where they'll give you your results back in time so if they're saying we need a week to give you results it's not going to work because you only have those 72 hours and things like this are done intentionally to discourage travel but it's still doable also booking your tickets i highly recommend flying with emirates they offer oh they're one of the better airlines in my opinion but they also offer travel insurance so god forbid but if anything happened they would cover you um i think up to 14 days of accommodations and food and things like that also booking your flight um i wrote a blog post about this but the top tips will be using a private or incognito window so your browsing history isn't saved i would recommend booking on like a 2-0 wednesday off peak hours like really late at night or maybe really really early in the morning when most people are not looking um and then also just like using different search engines using different platforms i like google flights but you can use like sky scanner and things like that so once you're there you're gonna make sure you take a taxi and for the rest of your trip if you're using taxis a taxi that has a meter do not let them give you a flat rate always use a meter and then you want to make sure you make reservations for everything literally everything they are very strict in particular about how many people are in different areas so yeah just make the reservations a lot of stuff is free i'm not gonna go too much into detail about that i'm i wrote a blog post that tells you all the places to go the best restaurants the nights where certain places are more fun than others so just read that blog post it's very short um to the point but that'll i think be the most helpful and the rest of this video is just going to be our vlog of dubai [Music] such a lovely hotel room ida did you bring any gifts i sure did i got gifts for all occasions a specialty of my new homie at emirates why didn't you mommy guys we are up and active don't know how no no take a nap it's like a little bit far right [Music] heading into the desert a drone pirates and hopefully not get arrested doing creepy [ __ ] a little drifting a little weaving a little bobbing and weaving after the story about we're supposed to have the lamborghini originally but it was impounded because they were drifting and doing whatever three times in the morning yeah so we're not trying to do that no we're gonna be civilized [Music] ready no you shouldn't be i am done any message to your friends um you guys should have came i'm here but myself but next time i have fun see you in a plane [Music] i also called you [Music] but on the way to the pool i will yeah so after sleeping all day all day it was great we were supposed to be at one oak at 10 o'clock it is now 10 30 30. it's okay we're we just have the right connection with each other he has really good banter he takes all my boxes it's about loyalty babes loyalty uh [Music] keep going [Music] foreign heading two [Music] oh [Music] i would love [Music] different color of the desert but before the desert safari will be stopped in one place you call a meeting point we have a break time there like half an hour uh to do the camel ride so the camel ride hits for short run just for experience and to take picture on the camel but if anybody want to repeat again and again no problem to repeat it then after this [Music] hmm you
