Driving the Canyons of Highway 84 in Utah.. How Will Autonomous Trucking Do in the Snow??

George Utah these bubbles the caps because they're all on air they lean a little bit but tiptoe clean you have to know the beer will liquid I should say anything soda beer water wherever you're gone some drivers aren't really somebody's not really paying attention I looked away for a second you're going so slow why you see some states have a minimum - mutator work and looks like you get a the autonomous trunk does all the air and I being in the fountain Dan winter snow driver well we said how in the heck is that ever going to work in the snow and they were going on there's quite a bit of companies that are actually doing that and some of them are even making money whilst researching it and testing because they're actually hauling loads letting the truck do all the work and the driver just sits there and then they brought up the snow up so I was like hear what they have to say about it because I know yeah they're funny I longer than going up and down their pain all day now I'm big that it I wouldn't that's why they're doing it now and thanks for the heads up forever you might be right around the corner here would say it's girlfriend just end up with it and window shades so anyway they come up to the the winter driving part dudes all be sure how we're gonna deal with that yet so we just stick to the senator routes you can run now see how they are going to be able to let an autonomous vehicle tackle hazardous weather I don't see it I mean the sensors will be covered up it's an easy solution to that just put a heater on the surface of it to where packing snow and continue or you that's an easy fix when it comes to traction when it comes to breaking to cornering the granite that trips you know snow because they go slow anyway but I don't think they can really ever do that think of machine I could drive in the winter Mountain snow drivers so very interesting now that's good like you said we're gonna stick into the southern rocks for now it's always banana belt is king so what they're saying to is the trucks will drive for me to be the same San Diego from LA to let's say then a driver asked to pick it up in a terminal and do the rest of it every part they even had a trunk on there that was capitis really tractor if you will it was probably about five foot tall sure as Tommy held Atlanta they said that it's logical that make sense that the first which police stupid they kept trying they were not gonna do a chain and so then spit it out right into this main drain right now it's a two-lane before actually gets to news now they just shut down a input from us ever on anything they passed regulations and all this other stuff now they want to do there's a matter going oh hey drivers can you help us do this help us rent these automatic trucks so that we can end up eliminating your job oh yeah these are people doing it I don't think they're probably gonna have some of that autonomous route and I would say going to the south I don't see it was it's something I'm definitely to watch out for study up on if you will absolutely curious about that 110% serious I'd love to see how to break out even the guy has entered into the testing are like and they don't have any experience on it either in fact in its snow and slippery cover up their sensors anything would talk to a mountain driver anymore in Canada or in Washington I guess there is too
