drawing every fnaf 1 animatronic

hello kids do you like FNAF well I do like FNAF I have my share of good memories with it uh I kind of grew up with it really I was a teenager when the first game dropped and after a certain point I kind of got lost on this floore which is completely understandable and nowadays I do like to on it but I have good memories with it and every new game that pops out randomly like every two weeks I'd like to at least check it out right uh I have big memories with it so of course I would include this in my drawing project and if you don't know my drawing an art project I'm trying to draw massive huge uh unbelievably large quantities of characters but in a minimalistic style and which better game than FNAF to do this like there's so many animatronics and of course I have to start somewhere so I did it with the original gang um I'm pretty aware that those five characters like faty Bonny chica foxy and golden Freddy are not technically the first animatronics whatever they are the first animatronics that have appeared in the franchise in the first game so I just wanted to draw them first and I'm just sharing my process with you really so one thing that you're going to notice is that my design uh for some of these characters changed lightly uh and they change it BAS on the vibe that the character gives me and not precisely by the original design so some details are different not because I'm just like randomly choosing things or because I can't replicate the original design choices um but because sometimes the feeling that the character gives me is slightly different right so I kind of like to respect the Vibes of the character more than the design itself if you understand [Music] me uh when I started doing the sketch for Bonnie he was looking rather cute and this is going to change a little when I start doing the line works because uh bunny is Hess scary he has no eyebrows I don't know why um I think there's always been something with bunnies in the series even before like springtrap and all the um there's always been something weird about the bunnies that have you know been appeared in this series this bunny the wither bnny that appears in f 2 even toy Bonny has a specific animation for when uh he enters the office it's just so weird and yes the cupcake that I drew uh on chica's plate just look like no worry I'm going to fix him later on and for foxy I just wanted to replicate the running um stance that he has like when he's chasing you down not chasing you down really but running towards your office in the first game that was legit one of the scariest that I have ever felt playing any game like you're kind of used to the static game by night too you kind of know theime Trends they kind of you know jump between cameras you don't really see them moving so seeing that Beast running down the Halls was just an insane feeling and I think Scott really nailed it and as I said like sometimes I change design based on the feeling and golden Freddy I just made his head way larger and way you know wicked weed more more wicked is is that the super relative it more wicked whatever I make it very Wicked compared to Freddy's and the rest is history really like the rest is just me trying to uh you know um check the the design choices that I did in the sketch sometimes I do change stuff in the line work right so some people uh make this sketch and they want to make sure that it looks very good so at the final product when they start doing the line work they just trace it uh but I do like to uh have a lot of room to work on my line work uh mainly because my art is minimalistic so it's no problem really it's not that huge of a deal and I can just work on it and change stuff on the spot on the fly so sometimes I I change stuff on the Fly and Bun is design is one of those in which I Chang it uh in the middle of the line work process and it's going to look a little blend in the line work and in the coloring face like the drawing isn't going to look as finished mainly because I like to color my line works but that's just in the end after I have done all the line works for all characters and all the coloring just then I do the color line work on a separate layer and then it looks really finished but until we get there it's going to look a little blend and can we just talk about like uh how chica has two rows of teeth like why I I remember I heard a little bit about it in the past and someone in YouTube was like sharing this weird theory about why she had two rows of teeth specifically um I don't remember about it I don't really care anymore but it's a creepy feature that I kind of forgot about uh on the long run but yeah I didn't draw the two row of teeth in the piece because um it's a minimalistic drawing so sometimes you have to drop details in favor of a more uh you know more well- looking drawing really sometimes you can just overwhelm the viewer too much if you had all the details so I had to uh let this second both teeth out of the picture which is sad because it's really scary feature I like it and there's foxy like I don't have a lot to say about him I think I I've said everything I like about him um oh one thing when I was uh still thinking about how I would uh draw them and thinking about the POS I do I have like for a brief moment thought about drawing foxy uh whistling because I know that he has like this singing thing part Cove he likes to hum a song but um I think the running pose kind of represents him better and they Goen Fredy uh as like the Cherry in the top of the cake I think that Jorden Freddy was one of the best things that Scott has done for FNAF just because uh it's so scary and weird and out of place that people kind of felt the need to search more about the game and the lore and all this kind of thing and like mad Pat I think he was one of the people who kind of got in the game because of that golden FR encounter if I'm not mistaken I might be mistaken I'm I'm a dumbass and also these little spots that I'm doing in Freddy and I'm going to do this in every single animatronic it's just like to kind of give out this feeling of um you know very old and stinky suits because I do feel like they have a very dirty stinky suits looking at them you can kind of see that they're not the cleanest in the world so I think that these little spots was the best way for me to represent that in my drawing art style yeah like besides that I think there's not a lot to say uh the rest of is just me coloring stuff and like testing with different uh Petes for them I don't create a palette for each character beforehand I kind of experiment with colors on the Fly I don't like to get the colors directly from the original reference because sometimes it's going to look very dark there's a lot of shading Shadows Lighting in the original reference there are 3D models but my stuff is extremely flat so the colors work differently there's different properties to take in consideration so I'm definitely uh better off just picking up the colors on the Fly and for the color lining work then I'm going to start doing for each character now I'm doing the same process really like just speaking colors in the fly and seeing how they're going to look a little more far away and I always let the character stand on the left side of the screen so I can look at them and see how they're going to look if you look at them how they going to if you look at what the hell how they going to look if you uh not playing close attention to them like how they going to feel if you look at them uh from far away Jesus Christ it cost me a lot to to say the sentence so while you are seeing the rest of the thing I want to thank you for watching this video just just a
