Drag Race: Quadzilla VS Banshee!

okay we're setting up that drag race track again down the road from the farm here central Wisconsin don't tell the town of Lynn that we're doing this because it's completely unauthorized use of the public roads epic battles yes what are some epic battles throughout human history the Lakers and Celtics in the 80s yeah The Clash of the Titans back in the medieval times and then in the movies what two monsters always were battling at all times Godzilla and King Kong and then of course Trump versus Biden but today we're not having Godzilla in King Kong we're having what the banshee and the Quadzilla yup that's right guys one of the most epic showdowns in vintage ATV history that's coming at you right now [Music] thank you all right let's take a look at the machines Jack what do we got here in the Yamaha Banshee so yeah the Yamaha Banshee it's a 2005. um this has the full Gold Series FMF exhaust pipe um air box plan is still on so basically the only adjustment that's ever been done to is this is just that aftermath everything else is all original but they do say that those can really change the machine a lot just that's one of the simple things that you can do and it'll really give a lot more horsepower we got a nice Banshee right here guys now we're going to look at the other competitor today we've got a 1988 Suzuki lt500r aka the Quadzilla so we get the 500cc two-stroke Jack why don't you just go kind of a little up and down real nice and smooth and show them this machine um guys this one to our knowledge is all stock I mean since I've had it we haven't done anything to it you can see it still even has the big old clunky stock exhaust on it so this one has no modifications and it has the air box lit on so this is as it was pretty much way back in 88. all right guys this is the tail of the tape these are the riders today we got Jack we got myself Jack you will weigh how much 150. I just weighed myself this morning I weigh 191 so with whatever we're about 40 pounds apart so that will play a factor in my opinion keep that in mind another thing that we're going to do is we're gonna count down from five four three two go on one we're gonna count down together try to sync that so one guy isn't anticipating the jump over the other guy but we're going to try to give you a good representation of these machines in a classic battle that you just don't see very often all right y [Music] five four three five four three two one all right I think that was a Fair Race I I missed I miss you again race number three five four three oh I think that was a Fair start I think okay this is race number four five four that was pretty good did you feel like you got a good start yeah hey race number five me [Music] ant [Music] so we got six races in there we're gonna do one long race kind of a top speed thing side by side see who ends up on top foreign [Music] guys there you have it those are our six eighth of a mile drag races Quadzilla Banshee Quadzilla came out on top each time Jack what are your comments on this the Quadzilla is just a faster machine all around I guess but bigger motor yeah a lot bigger 150. but when you sit on the Banshee when you drive it if you have one or I guess just when you feel it it's a lot faster feeling like then the Quadzilla I don't know we we've raced these in the past and it was a bit closer to say the least but yeah I don't really know I guess the Quadzilla is just the better machine yeah I mean I totally agree with Jack the Banshee feels like a lot faster machine when you're on it the Quadzilla it's big and it's heavy and but it's fast but it doesn't feel fast like the babanchi does although it will pull away from the banshee and like we said just a lot bigger motor to begin with that's a good showdown of two classic quads but anyway guys thanks for watching please like And subscribe and remember have a great weekend and always keep it real
