thank you now is always I need you press we have come to a Time of major main here they have come to a Time oh economic downtown we have come to a Time when there's a saying going around that money is tight cool so tight in fact that many individuals have fun or bankruptcy money is tight and wants powerful Institution have failed for bankruptcy I've been thinking about it and it occurred to me that there is such a thing as spiritual bankruptcy what are the signs of spiritual bankruptcy [Music] how might we know it I would suggest that when we neglect private devotion that's a sign of spiritual bankruptcy when we can go day after day night after night without reading from the book and spending some time in this secret place [Music] it's a sign of our spiritual bankruptcy but again when we attempt to substitute private devotion for public wish it's a sign of spiritual bankrupts so many people who say they can serve God as well at home as they cannot change [Music] perhaps but the weakness of that argument is you don't go to church [Music] you go to church to worship God you go to church to get a new sense of direction you're going to change to get a new vision of service you go to change the fellowship with your brothers and sisters in Christ back in my native state of Louisiana my little church where I was baptized I heard them singing Blessed Be the baby our hearts and Christian love The Fellowship of Kindred Minds is like to that above when we as sung the power that gives us energy but we shall still be joined in heart and hope to meet again you go to church of Fellowship [Music] televisioned all right with the television can't shake hands with you [Applause] I'll keep my private devotions but I go to church also thank you now when when when we are actually but not injury it's a sign of spiritual bankruptcy great many people are at church but never in church [Applause] when you have the time I want you to read the story of science for to me Sam's son is prosperity is found in obedience to the will of God and especially in avoidance of the Native realism of Canaan with its demoralizing fertility comes adversities well to departure from God rejection of God means right this attitude is playing in the framework objectives the people's lapsing from the worship of Yahweh and they are serving over Gods is regularly fought by Foreign oppression then they cry to Yahweh in their affliction and he raises up a deliverer for them in judges chapters 13 through 17 we see the oppression of the Philistines the Annunciation of the birth and the exploits of Psalms Samsung was a strong man yes Evils are strong man the great preacher Prophet pastor of the Saint John Church in Dallas Texas Dr Daniel Scott senior councils that we should pray for the strong as well as the wind yes he he concerns that we should not cease to pray for the week but that we should also pray for the strong for if you are strong you become the opposite of jealousy and the part of small-minded people yeah if you are strong many feel that they have Arisen to shoot your death if you are strong there are those who will sit around your members and discuss with them how much you are gone what they do not discuss is that they would be gone too if anybody asked my brothers and sisters [Applause] you might say it's dangerous to be strong for when you are strong there will be many who will be out to get you yes sir if you are strong there will be many who are out to bring you down if you are strong there will be minutes seeking to put you in a bad light Samson was a strong man and being a strong man Samson had his enemies being a strong man Sampson head that is being a strong man Samson had those who were out there for his destruction and they could not get to him but they got to somebody who was close to him and people will do that tonight [Applause] uh their desire is to get you but they do not strike at you directly they will strike at your wife [Applause] or strike at somebody in the church whom they know to be close to you exploits with the feminine gender but now what the one and by the name of the lion and she was close to Samson and he was close to her and there were five Lords of the Philistines who knew about the relationship and they did not bother Samson outright but they got to deny [Music] each one of them offered her an amount of money to bring Samson down and yes turned out to be a better business woman than Judas Wonder a businessman because [Applause] then Judas the God is in his betrayal of the master and when Delilah got the money yes she said about to find out the secret of Samson's strength and three times yes Samson teased and healed the life for friends he said if they bind me with seven French bull strings made of Twisted good then will my strength be in that of any other man well that was tried but it did not work out and then the Samsung told me with new ropes that will do what you are trying to do and they bound Samson with new ropes but that too did not wake up and in the third place the Samsung if you have yes we've the Seven Locks of my head with the way of the then will my strength be that of any other man well that was tried and it did not work well Samson then I put to test foreign [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] be careful when you go to sleep yeah yeah when the Philistines yeah he thought he would do as he had been doing yeah but he was not that alone had departed from him all brothers and sisters [Applause] he had defeated his opposition but this time there's nothing more to have departed from him and I yeah he wasn't able to do her as they had done before when it keep the holy spirit with you for you see some people I have a brim of cream concept of Christianity they feel that I let them downward to you yes we need him more and more Him to guide us keep the holy spirit with you for when the Holy Spirit departure the place of meaning becomes a mere meeting place when the Holy Spirit departs you have fun but not force when the Holy Spirit departs you have sound but not [Applause] but not progress keep the holy spirit will you let him be and in your living develop as a Christian worker keep the holy spirit in your life foreign [Music] [Applause] [Applause] I was just a sign of that relationship with when God was cut over it represented A disruption of the fellowship but you must not be quick to give up on time [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] Lead Me and [Applause] some prayed to God Lord God [Applause] yeah [Applause] and remember me I wanted him to remember me remember [Applause] remember me [Applause] when I do the best I can friends don't understand remember [Applause] [Applause] me [Applause] what
