DPMS Anvil Forged AK47 Rifles at Atlantic Firearms

hello and welcome back everybody matt here at atlantic firearms taking a look at some cool new rifles from dpms these are the anvil rifles we've seen some of these earlier this year in a plum poly configuration dpms is coming now with some other variations happy to see the wood laminate fixed stock model here the wood side folder model there which looks like a great classic gun uh classic ak and then of course we have this black poly side folder here which is really cool as well let's take a couple of minutes and go over some of these details with these guns first thing i'll say is these guns are built on a fully heat treated receiver they have a u.s fire control group the barrel is a us origin it's a 4150 barrel nitride finished inside and out they have a bayonet lug on the front to accept your standard ak bayonets comes with a slant break typical 45 degree gas block one here standard akm style optic mount here on the left side they all come with these uh palmetto state armory waffle mags in black on these particular ones the plum gun came with a plum waffle which i thought was a really nice touch from the guys over there these core components are forged the trunnion the bolt carrier and bolt are forged components so you don't have anything to worry about as far as integrity goes with that we're going to sit this bad boy down for a second and pick up the side folder so you can show you some of the features with it one of my favorite features with the side folders are the ability to accept your cleaning kit and cleaning slash tool kit in the stock lock it up locks up rock solid open it up rock solid get a killer cheek weld on it real nice also have this selector with this nice shelf on it which makes it very easy to actuate your selector here there's also detents in safe auto and semi there is no auto function but it's cool that they put a detent there so it at least looks you know traditional or correct so that's very nice i really do like that feature as well on here the stuff all feels really good i'll tell you the side folders are as they should they have a reinforcement plate under the pistol grip as you would have on a normal side folding ak so lots of great features on these guns the finish is really nice and rich black as well and it's really nice to honestly see some different variations of aks from different companies coming into the market and like i said i'm just really happy to see that i hope to see more companies coming out with more kalashnikovs since we all like aks and seeing that you know more or less build the market up so we appreciate you guys tuning in today please let us know your thoughts questions concerns otherwise sales atlanticfirearms.com you can also catch us on social media as well we are out there and we look forward to seeing you there thanks again for tuning in
