DON'T MISS LUCERNE when in Switzerland, with its many amazing things to do!

when you think of Switzerland what comes to mind the Alps funiculars an endless amount of fun outdoor activities Lush Green Mountains chocolate ridiculously gorgeous Lakes and that randomly walks through the streets we visited a few places during our trip to Switzerland the first one was Lucerne what we experienced during our stainless urn is something that we will never forget stay until the end to see why you should visit too and by the way if you haven't subscribed please do so by clicking on the button below Lucerne is a picturesque City nestled in the heart of Switzerland it is renowned for its stunning Lakeside setting with late concerns surrounded by Majestic mountains making it a popular destination for both tourists and outdoor enthusiasts Lucerne is also well known for its well-preserved medieval architecture including the iconic Chapel Bridge originally built in the 14th century the bridge features a series of paintings set to pick lucerne's history and Heritage it spans across the Royce River and is a perfect subject for photography especially at night Lake Lucerne surrounded by breathtaking mountains is a picturesque Swiss Lake renowned for its stunning Beauty and tranquil ambiance the city of Lucerne is encapsulated by the lake but did you know that all the water from the fountains in Switzerland is potable visiting Mount Pilatus should be on your must to-do list Mount Pilates located near Lucerne is known for its panoramic vistas of the Swiss Alps and attracting locals and tourists alike to purchase your tickets to their website and you can choose from a list of activities the golden round trip is the best way to experience Pilates from Lucerne take the bus or train to Queens then take the cable car to the first stop Queen cereg where there is a playground and a restaurant then head to fragmenteg for the mountain toboggan and the zipline and after that head to the peak and enjoy the Majestic views on your way back take the Cog train down the mountain in that up next shot at the base take the ferry back to Lucerne it will be worth it we came on a beautiful summer day and it was just perfect for enjoying the views and going on Hikes we were so excited about the mountain toboggan we immediately headed to Frack Montag after our hike the mountain toboggan on Pilates are commonly known as frackie Gowdy is the longest summer toboggan in the country it is a fun way to enjoy the scenery unfortunately we were not allowed to film but here's Bryce Millicent showing us how awesome this experience is plus we zipline through the trees and I made it without smacking my face on a tree trunk [Music] the trip to the peak of Mount Pilates is spectacular we get a clear view of Lego CERN and its Lush surroundings at the top there is a restaurant and two levels of Lookouts reviews make sure to go all the way to the highest point the views are unbeatable from that vantage point and on the way down we rode the palatos railway or the Pilates Bond the steepest rack Railway in the world the Pilates Railway has a maximum gradient of 48 percent we were treated to Epic views of the mountain during our journey to complete our trip back to Lucerne we took the ferry from upload which is a very short walk from the Pilates Bond station once again the views were stunning but breathing in that fresh Swiss Air was an absolute treat sit outside if you can Lucerne is a pretty compact City and we wanted to see what was beyond it to explore the outskirts and we found the best way to do so by booking a tour with Luke tours there were four tours for choose from but we chose the hidden gems tour with the best tour guide ever Roberto the tour involves either being a passenger or if there are more than two of you in the group you get to drive one of Roberto's electric cargo bikes the tour takes you to places only locals know of [Music] such as horv where we mingled with the locals and enjoyed a front seat view of the gorgeous Lake Lucerne and at the end of the tour we were rewarded with a large Toblerone and we got the chance to take many photos [Music] to drive and explore outside of Lucerne driving in the Swiss Countryside is a dream the roads are clean clear well marked making the Driving Experience extremely enjoyable a far cry from what we are used to in the U.S we finished our journey at the world famous Gilmer Bond where more commonly known on social media as the Swiss Mountain coaster with an incline of 106 percent or 47 degrees gelmer Bond was the steepest funicular in Switzerland and Europe until the opening of the new Stu supernicular in 2017. the ride is steep but very pleasant note that it does not go fast when we reach the top we were not prepared for what we were about to see look at that water and I'm not kidding this video was not enhanced that's how the water looks like a bright and opaque shade of turquoise Gilmer CSA Reservoir built in 1932 fed by the melting ice from the glaciers and what makes this water so blue are the sediments that the water accumulates as it flows from the glaciers into the reservoir also known as glacial flower foreign here's a top tip give yourself at least an hour to explore the lake book your return trip accordingly at the base of the gelmer bond you will find a hand deck fall Bridge the hand deck fall Bridge is a striking pedestrian suspension bridge that spans a hand deck gorge in the Swiss Alps as you cross the bridge you will see breathtaking views of the hand deck waterfall and the surrounding natural beauty [Music] after our epic trip to
