I like this even more than the studio version. More vocal adventurousness, and more emotion. It's the perfect tone for the words he is singing.
I always wonder if that’s a tear towards the end or if it’s just sweat. That last verse carries the most emotion to me.
It’s so clear how much of his heart and soul Don poured into this song.
I know Don is a guitar player, but I miss the piano.
