Domino Tree felling

he gets up in the morning i'm about to break a day he jumps into his pickup he heads out on his way is well friends i gotta be honest um we're here let's do this boom we're getting close we're getting close to the end it's uh i'm building this video right now i just want to get through this job we've done a lot of this this job's been a big job and uh i i know that that people have enjoyed this series because i've received emails after emails of people thanking me for the wedgmanship stuff and questions about this and that and understanding why we high stump so i'm standing here staring at this tree now this next one i'm staring at it friends i've cut so much stuff like this through the years it the question becomes do i somehow like what i what i could do here is cut down the seam because it's grafted kind of cut down the seam you'd be surprised it might it might even just fall away if i put an undercut in the back cut it at head height or you know belly height or whatever but i think to myself that big tree is leaning back hard so if that little tree is holding on to that front one can i get an undercut low enough in the tree that that i'm able to even put a cut in without that little tree sitting on my bar that would be the preference because now that little tree will be pulling that big one a little bit now there could be grafting going on upstairs too you just don't know so i made the decision to incorporate that tree into the undercut this is a very interesting uh scenario what we do here friends this is a good one this is one video this tree and the one behind it because we do some we do some funky stuff so enjoy um we're nearing the end of this job now friends so we'll get back at it and and i'll we'll go through this undercut all right back to it [Music] [Music] that front tree is [Applause] [Music] [Laughter] [Music] seems to be [Applause] [Music] okay friends i flip the saw over again and do that undercut that i do you know where i flip this all over and go up and in just so you know i know it's difficult to see on this angle [Applause] [Music] that second tree [Music] it's cut right off so you see that thing hey cut right off [Music] so yeah it's pulling on there which is good the wind's up yeah and the wind just came right up yeah the wind's going this way and that's a good point that's now a bunch of extra weight out the front of that tree so it's going to assist us with wedging this thing over this is this is my world friends this is where i uh i i kind of shine in spots like these they think outside the box on this stuff don't don't get in a square you know what i mean friends don't don't just get stuck that this is the way this has got to be so i've always did do this do that think outside the box so um these are you know we can't screw this up friends because there's buildings very close you can't have one go sideways over here backwards the wind is fighting us right now it's pushing right into my back as a matter of fact the wind is [Music] [Music] [Applause] oh [Music] wow [Music] [Music] kind of dark in here get you guys in a better spot for them [Music] [Music] there we go wow [Music] oh [Music] ah [Music] wow [Music] [Applause] [Music] i can feel it now friends starting to sit on my bar now we just got to get it lifted up between that front tree pulling and ganges poking a few wedges in the back we may have to hit this with a bullet that's what's on my mind right now i can feel it if it's starting to sit now then we still got wood to cut [Music] [Music] [Music] oh it's you guys okay so i've been in this predicament before friends we got the we got the we got the the thing roaring here we got the power saw thing going here in the tree we got the what do you call it there the wood stove rip roaring here we're all tucked in the you know the batten down the hatches there's a storm outside of coming friends the trees are whipping and cracking and snapping so listen i've been in this situation a long time many times in me i should say i can tell by the way ganges wedges are you can hear it you can hear it in the axe you can hear it no he's not going to bang that over it's going to be a horrendous bang it's cut up that tree's cut up there's probably this much amount of wood right across the whole stump i guarantee i've made lots of stumps like this we're there we are cut up it's time to hit it with a bullet right so we're on the back line right friends like the barns behind us you don't see it because the cameras they're in the wrong spot but the barn is behind us we are on the back line there's nowhere for wood to go now it has to go out straight out most of it has had to so ganges takes another poke while i'm gathering my goodies it it just does not go anywhere so we're in for uh we're in for quite a show here yeah i i'm okay i'll just take this tree out then i'll gas up there's been a tree for it here friends so this tree is riddled in steel the one i'm about to cut up right here and i'm actually this big thing is cut up leaning back hard there's a little marm off the front of it well actually not a little more i'm a good sized tree and it's cut up and we're gonna send it into it right here we're gonna take it and hit it so that would almost be a good view right there to be quite honest sonny i'm gonna get you to come and film this because i'm gonna get you hitting it in and then slowly come down let's let's do this it's going to take it right up the hillside let's do it yeah let's go you're on the wide lens there's hogan's axe and my axe yep god i hope there's nothing here oh there will be i'm sure of it oh yeah that'll be a deadly shot god i wish i could feel like taking more of that thing right there but there's nails everywhere i'm not putting anything we already hit two nails with two saws in the undercut so so i see what i got there yeah [Music] [Music] that's not good [Music] friends watch the sawdust turn to dust i hit something again so after two chains i get frustrated and we shut the camera off and uh get another saw yeah it wasn't fun [Music] [Music] ah [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] wow [Music] ah that was nice get the landing yeah go collect our wedges like that free white nope yeah look at that that's so cool so this dutchman was was kicking in right there we better get our rope out i guess how does that stump look huh how does that stuff look so there's that there's that scenario look at that friends okay so look at that so i actually look at the undercut was literally in that little tree and they undercut isn't that neat but yet there's included look at this [Music] that's pretty freaking neat i gotta i gotta be honest and lucky here here's our piece of hinge wood on this tree just a beautiful piece of it sorry friends hinge right across the stump there she be another four and a half foot tree that was a big freaking tree i was walking around the sucker come in pretty even not bad a little bit of cleanup here but i mean look at there's that there's the end of that tree right there look at it included it's just nuts you know and look at this money stick right here again he's just finished he's way up there hey not neat we're on the back line now we got one more with nails in it i hope we fluke out i'm gonna go right to the bottom i think that one there there was a tree fort in here so i'm just gonna go right to the bottom i don't think there's nails there or anywhere up there i'll show you something it really burns my cab when well there's a hay elevator see this is this is what we hit right here look at this steel one there just ugly just kick another one there two more down there look one two just awful so i i guarantee there's gonna be
