gentlemen it's dope again [Applause] [Music] welcome everybody to dolphin stadium home to 12 bottlenose dolphins ranging in age from 10 months to 36 years all born right here at sea world we love to care for these animals and celebrate each and every day with them are you ready to meet us um i think we can do a lot better than that i said are you ready [Applause] coming up first she's our oldest animal at 36 years old and she's a mother of six beautiful ladies coming to say hi to all of you it's sandy [Applause] check her out around the perimeter of the glass here comes melody [Applause] [Applause] just because she's one of our youngest does not stop this six-year-old from being the overachiever of the bunch get your cameras ready in the center of the pool here comes our high flyer and we can't forget about this dedicated trainers who care for these dolphins each and every day say hello to brandon stephanie tammy gavin ladies and to have gentlemen so let's walk they show up how they celebrate [Music] [Applause] oh uh [Applause] [Music] flying around [Applause] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Applause] hello everyone i'm down here on the left-hand side of the stadium at the glass way to get everybody can you see me give me away if you can see me hi my name is carrie i've been training males and dolphins now for 18 years but i have loved animals my entire life in fact i was the kid that was bringing home every lost straight an abandoned now i grew up in the desert so the ocean always fascinated me in one year my family decided to take a trip right here from that moment on i knew i belonged right there now seaworld has always been a world leader in animal care rescue and rehabilitation so for me this was a perfect fit now over my years i've had the great pleasure to work with so many amazing animals and right now i'm going to introduce you to a couple of them that are especially near and dear to my heart these are two very special dolphins coming over here with gavin on the left-hand side of the stadium is melanie melanie is just the best dolphin in the world she loves these quiet swims they're the best way to build our relationship with them and right over here something with brandon is one of my all-time favorite dolphins one of the sweetest girls i've ever met her name is now both of these animals are fantastic ambassadors for seaworld and their reasons that my new friend amanda come on down here amanda can get up close and personal to a bottlenose dolphin all right amanda come step up on these stairs for me we are going to get the great pleasure to meet sandy are you ready all right sandy's ready to meet you too hi beautiful lady let's start off with a proper introduction take two fingers out like that shake them up and down she's straining dolphins yeah she is all right excellent now one of the things we do with the dolphin trainer is feet or dolphins so here you go the hearing don't drop it in her mouth there you go let go yep she swallows all of her food whole all right here you go amanda another one beautiful now guess what you know what how trainers get rid of that smell take your hands throw them together [Music] now like sure there you go all right candy loves the bathroom go ahead give her a nice long back rub dolphins are very tactile animals they can actually feel all of this now we're gonna hear another fun vocal from her take one finger and pull her did you guys hear that one that's a silly one that's a silly one all right amanda you're doing such a great job with sandy come on down here we have one final thing to do with her as we say goodbye so what we're gonna do is take two hands and flap them to our legs ready one two three slap turn around give everybody a great big [Applause] well we've already met some of our dolphins but we have another animal that lives here in our dolphin home it's time to meet our short fin pilot whales now pilot whales are found in all oceans throughout the world and they're actually very close relatives with both dolphins and killer wells and today i would like to introduce you all to a whale that is very special to every one of us here at belfry stadium and her name is bubba now if you grow up in southern california you might remember a marine land park in palos verdes right near la and if you ever visited that park you might remember seeing a pilot well named bubbles there well that is the exact same bubbles that's with us here at seaworld san diego today when she came to us she's about 25 years old and she's been with us for over two decades so that makes bubbles the oldest animal here at dolphin stadium that's 53 years which just so happens to be the best way for us to build our relationships with them so let's watch as jamie brittany and jarelle share a special moment with shadow argo and bubbles [Music] is is wow [Applause] oh [Applause] [Applause] [Applause] us now [Applause] it's oh [Applause] through our work and research here at seaworld we're able to make a difference in the oceans that surround us with our community we share a passion and respect for the majesty of the oceans and all its beautiful animals making the right choice this is my ocean this is my future my choice this ocean is mine choice the inspiration and passion to care for animals came to us at a young age it's our hope to pass that degree on to the next generation so our earth can continue to thrive [Music] it is so important not just for us but for generations to come to care for our earth by reducing reusing and recycling you can help keep trash from finding its way into animal habitats you can join in or even organize a beach cleanup in your own community and these are all little things that can make a big difference in fact just by you being here today you're demonstrating your love for these animals we hope your family will join us in our commitment to caring for our seeds our skies and all of their amazing creatures right everyone it looks like everyone's back so it's time for some more fun let's live it up because the world is ours [Applause] [Music] [Applause] is between [Applause] the world is
