Dollywood Flower and Food Festival 2021 #dollywood

hey y'all it's dawn we're just out and about and crazy fall from hanging with the crazy crew you know we really like to hang out with crazy pop so i love hanging out with y'all so yes here he is in another video and wait here's eric he don't like it he's got to get used to it yeah so anyway we are here today at dollywood um i don't know if you can really kind of tell behind us but it's raining yesterday yeah so we are over here under reds trying to do our little intro um we um the flower and food festival at dollywood opened up yesterday but we didn't make it here yesterday to do anything so um we're gonna go around today try some food we got the lanyards this is something new for dollywood this year we'll tell you about them in a few minutes yeah we got like 15 things that we can try we're going to eat so we're going to do some eating show the food that'll primarily be what this is is just showing the food and some of the stuff from the festival anyway while we go around and do they are offering like a lot of other parks that we go to when they have a food festival they are offering the dining paths um this was i think 29.99 without your season pass and with the um season pass discount um it was 27.99 i think it come up to 31 with tax um but anyway it gives us five samples um so all you'll have to do is scan the barcode on the back or they will to um do your sample they often also have this experience guide so let's see i haven't even looked in it yet um we've got about the umbrella sky different things um it's gonna tell us about the food it looks like we've got some stickers to actually mark the food that we try [Music] no more [Music] me forever my [Music] free [Music] [Music] do [Music] do do [Music] all right y'all so it's quit raining for us which is a good thing um we have walked around looked at a few flowers they're looking great we've checked out a few food booths we haven't decided what we're going to try yet we've got our little booklet out we're going to look through here might put our little stickers on for the flowers that we've seen and um yeah we're going to sit here and crazy pop sticks in his hair yeah he's got kind of a mess though all right he was just fixing it and eric well there he is doing what he does best we're gonna decide what we're gonna try to eat and i have sat here and put some stickers on of the flowers we've seen so that's a pretty neat feature they got going on crazy pop has decided we were trying a cuban we're fixing to try our first tasting what we have is the cuban sandwich and yep there he goes the cuban sandwich and the plantain chips with mango salsa we're having a little bit of trouble cutting the cuban kind of coming apart well what the problem is is it's kind of toasty all right you want to try this out though yeah i'm ready look what we're looking at either one okay hey look we got all right [Music] oh yeah that's good what's that damn i like toasted bread that is really good yeah the bread is really toasty but it is good mustard it's hit it's busting i like it i like it a lot we gotta try these though yeah let's try those plantation chips with the the mango salsa oh so i got some on here now you can see try to learn this new camera yo wow that is really good that mango salsa yo this cuban and these chips they pair good together dollywood you nailed this oh that's good it really is i'm gonna look at this one for a while great job thumbs up i'll give you this one there you go yeah i can't hold it thumbs up try something else sure let's go since we tried the cuban guess what i get to put another sticker on our little sticker book right there there we go [Music] also we are at our next stop and we decided to get the beef bulagi nachos um looks like some steak strips um what over wonton chips and we got some chicken wings we have the choice of caribbean jerk red chili barbecue and teriyaki crazy pop is taking off somewhere so i made the choice of the teriyaki because i don't like hot stuff so we're gonna go with the teriyaki we're gonna try those and these i guess it's bulgot bloggie nachos all right guys we're trying this two camera thing again this time we put them just a little bit closer and i think it's working y'all let us know maybe we're learning this yeah but anyway that way we can only try the you know we get our our our first try the food right off so okay so which one you gonna try first i don't know the wings are looking pretty good y'all i mean y'all seen the close-up of them yep so i think i'm gonna try this wing you like the fight of the drone there's only one flat well i will i want the drum and i want one okay i'll draw the flat then okay i prefer the little drums okay these are going to be messy yeah but you know like i said on my cooking channel sometimes a mess can be a beautiful mess they're tender smokey that is good yeah i need a whole plate of these a good sauce didn't know you did teriyaki sauce is really good yeah if you're like me i don't like a lot of hot stuff so this is perfect it's really sweet the teriyaki but it's not over sauce no huh it's not over with my fingers i mean it's not it's just it's perfect and the chicken is smoky so and tender this is good the excuse is why we eat this and the sun's coming out look at this that wing you get we got three wings of that sample but i'm gonna tell you i can't speak for the jerk chicken can't speak for the hot or the barbecue but that teriyaki is awesome you want a teriyaki sauce you still taste the the smokiness that's really good i like that next up are the wonton chips it's the beluga beluga beef logging nachos we're having trouble with that word so i don't know i guess i'm just going to grab one grab one put a little pizza oh yeah i guess some snake got some steak green onions and oh my gosh look at that look at that big hunk of beef oh i had trouble mine how'd you like that oh got a little spice to it good spice though i shouldn't have done that that was good you know what yeah did you see that yeah it is look y'all we're just trying to food as best we can and i mean we can't go back and redo the first bite oh that's kind of hot told you a little stick to it you know i got another drink remind us we have nothing to drink i like it though i like that that i mean i don't know what's kicking that spice in there i really don't but i think it's that sauce [Music] no wonder i think i saw something on these hold on [Music] what's in it i know what it is we didn't read the whole thing oh we're rookies they're drizzled with sriracha [Music] it's good i like it no to everyone when you got a big piece of beef like that it is a little a tad on the tough side a little bit a little bit i mean it's not tough like it's not hard but it's a little cheap it was kind of hard for me to get that first bite i guess some are like cool um topped with dice green onions and alfalfa sprouts alfalfa sprouts yep i'm gonna let you eat some more of the beef because my my mouth's on fire i like it if you like hot stuff but y'all that's that it's actually very good that's a little bit spicy though so be careful be careful with it i mean i'm not complaining about it because for someone who likes a hot a kick then that would be good but it's really gonna be a little like a little spicy especially getting the wings maybe a spicy wing yeah you should have a good time with it that's probably a little too much for me yeah but anyway still two thumbs up i think it was really good overall let's go try something else all right let's go all right y'all so after that hot sriracha on those uh on that beef i had to go try the strawberry lemonade so i think it's got some strawberry sugar around it let's see what it tastes like it's good it's pretty tart but it's still good after that sriracha [Music] so [Music] [Music] baby are you doing a movie are you doing a picture a picture oh well if you must they know how shy i am yeah that's my buddy applejack you can get us both yeah he makes me look professional with this big-time instrument there all right while we're sitting out here enjoying miss lillian we got these samples from miss lillian's barbecue corner right here we got the barbecue brisket slider this was the grill brisket sausage and we got the street corn [Music] this is a little bit about them right we're gonna do this different you try that one first and i'll try this one first okay i'll try a piece of sausage first okay and i'm gonna do the barbecue brisket first well sausage is looking really good it really is got it break it looks you yeah i'm not having good luck today biting into stuff that is very good can you napkin i probably have barbecue sauce okay the sausage is perfect i mean seasoned really good but light thing of barbecue sauce all the time compliments sausage is right sauce is really good and um this is really good it's brisket so of course it does have some fat on it um but it's good um got some coleslaw they added coast cold flower on it oh really oh one thing about it nobody that watching this will ever want to go out to eat with me [Laughter] yeah just somebody watching so i don't have to worry about that all right so now we're gonna switch you're gonna try these oh let me get my scraps off your tray gonna try the brisket and she's gonna try the sausage yeah that's all right that's right okay maybe i'll have better luck with this oh wow there's a lot of slaw on there wow messy but very good i thought it was messy wow i think the brisket is better than sausage but the sauce is good but it's really good yeah i gotta say i like the brisket better too um the sausage is good yeah but but i think that slaw really helps that brisket out also it's just it's perfect it's just good now do they they serve this here normally yes all this is here normally yeah or for miss lillian's barbecue corner this is on the normal menu yeah of course you get bigger portions bigger portions yeah like 14 for the plate to get some chips as you see here for the chips but now these are the festival sizes so uh yeah i highly recommend coming over here and getting these samples these are good both these well you still got a street corner to try like i said i definitely i prefer the brisket yeah the bristles now the sauce is really good yeah but i really do like that brisket yep we're trying to street corn yeah we'll do the corn i'll get you for it it's tender very tender strict corn now i have done street corn on the griddle before with some bacon and stuff in it and i'll tell you that's all the way to cook corn anymore let's try this out oh yeah they did it that's really good what's that got in it the flavor i don't know but it's good it's got a great seasoning to it i gotta look up the seasoning let's see what it is i don't know let me give y'all okay it says um fresh charred corn mixed with fajita cheese fajita which is a mexican cheese i just matter of fact the taco beer i just did haskell heated zone no does it okay cheese mayonnaise lime juice garlic and spices it's amazing i gotta try that recipe out on the blackstone when i get home i like that that is good so for me definitely the brisket and the corn yeah the sausage you know but um that's just but if you're gonna try the festival food yeah come here yep or something [Music] i don't remember all right y'all so next up we have this victoria's pizza is the flower in food festival flatbread pizza i don't know if you can see that on there and notice but yes that is edible flower petals on there so here's some of the detail on it and we're gonna check this out yeah we're gonna try this out it kind of kind of like a salad on flatbread it's not really a traditional pizza per say yeah it's kind of going to be a mess i can tell you that already you know i've made a mess out of most foods already i'm good at messes yeah yeah can you get this in one bite this time i don't know okay we'll see i'm going to try this and see come nervous [Music] might as well you got to put a flower petal in there there now i'm missing a piece of it okay i had one all right here we go not bad i mean is that a taste like a salad and a cracker i missed that well my one um what is that taste what is that taste is it the garlic garlic and the vinegar i think it's vinegar vinaigrette vinaigrette i'll go for another bite well honestly it's good it's not something i would order personally oh but it's not bad i mean it's like a salad on cracker honestly now it's worth a try then you can be serenaded by you trying this um yeah overall i mean it's okay it's all did you taste the flower petal it was on there maybe that was there's a lot of different things going on right there at one time you have so many i don't even know what i was on this thing a lot of greens wait a minute the flower petal actually oh it's on it you didn't even eat the flower petal thank you rock you're welcome he tried to cheat let's see what are friends four thank you rock anytime yeah it's always nice to hang out with friends who you know call you out hey you didn't need that flower pedal i know where it's at i didn't taste anything did you honestly know but i mean so don't come here looking for a pizza you know what i i thought was gonna get a flat bread pizza you know sauce pepperoni cheese what's that look at the book i thought i read this i read the headlines i like to be surprised and i was surprised so yeah yeah i mean it's worth a try if you have yourself and you like eating different things of the greens and such yeah come over here hey taurus pizza and give it a try it's over here as you've seen rock about no no no flowers look on your shirt look on your shirt oh no does she have a fly she does okay look oh here we go i'll just down the whole thing hey rock that's some more right over there see him over there do you taste anything do you taste anything from the flower petals i didn't i didn't need taste from them maybe some nutrients in there we don't know about it right i hope so all right y'all so we didn't quite finish all of our tastings today because we didn't do it um couldn't do our eyes were definitely bigger than our stomach for sure and we had gotten three cards so we'll be back we've got more time this week um we'll finish up just showing the little show what else we got so we will continue tomorrow um i did do a live stream just a few minutes ago so i'll be sure and link that um up above whenever i've seen that yeah you guys should still night just like that wasn't it anyway real quick we're back we're gonna be trying some more food today i don't know we've got like eight or nine we have eight eight things left a lot and we got kind of a short shorter day today [Music] do [Music] do so we are trying our first tasting for today we are getting the fish and chips snack over at the market square it is a um and let me say they were making it fresh dipping it fixing it fresh so it should be really good a breaded flounder filet so we're going to try out this flounder filet butterfly and it you can tell it's about looking at us hand breaded but yes you can watch them do it that's amazing we're a little excited about this because eric over here he now they do have this all year yeah and it's you can get that meal market square eric got it as a meal and he's already dug into his and he says it's delicious he's impressed already so we got to try our snack out yep might be end up being more than a snack oh it's very very flaky i was gonna pick up in my hand oh wow that i know that's gonna be my lunch right there yeah that we you might see us with more stamps on here because we might go get another because i don't really know that i want to share this with you this one piece it's not good y'all excuse me for a minute oh gosh this really is i'm very impressed um lemon chopped chips yeah fries oh wow crispy i like that i like i like crispy fries they're not crunchy they're crispy yeah they're really good yeah i'm like what eric said a little while ago i'd get this again no question this is a must so we're going to finish this off and fight over how much of this portion we're going to get all right y'all so we have gone and gotten more samples yeah we have let me tell you it is um ah let me find it okay we've got a lobster roll which is maine lobster meat with a bunch of seasoning okay i'm trying to go quick here we got spinach and spinach and arctic dip um actually wheat yeah that's wrong though yeah what's on their thing is a blueberry lavender lemonade on the little booklet but it was a blood orange um blood orange lemonade or something wasn't it it looks good and we got the strawberry hibiscus hibiscus fresca as well yeah so we're gonna try to try these out i guess we'll do the way we did yesterday with the brisket you try one first and i'll try the other first you try a lot of froze over there okay over here we're gonna try this really good i'm actually going to put a little bit on the chip here the dip is right on [Music] this like the bun and everything that roll this on is really fresh the lobster is really fresh tasting um great flavor to it so thumbs up for this that spinach artichoke dill and i don't like artichokes but i don't know what that what else is all in there it's real creamy very creamy as you can kind of see and the chips are very crunchy very yeah very crunchy but it's really good that's a really good deal you try it out yeah you're not suave oh you'll hear me crunching now like i said the bread is very fresh very fresh i do here i thought you should brush your teeth over there i get it off a bit i lobster roll a thumbs up the dip thumbs up this is paired well together great the dip is good my dip is really good yup so i was surprised about the deal so definitely both of these items way to go must try lobster roll artichoke deal got the train going by yup all right which one um let's see i don't know all right you tried a strawberry orange okay i got this is the strawberry biscuit yeah and i like blood orange i want know how these flower petals are on here wow that blood orange is good i don't know what the hell i got a little whipped cream or something a little bit of cream on top or something but it is really really good i recommend the blood orange already i didn't try the strawberry yet the blood orange is delicious okay right here whichever one yep whichever one you is this my side right here yeah it's my side yep yeah the strawberries on this side all right we're turning the cups around cause you wonder all right this is blood orange oh the strawberry is good too yes both these drinks thumbs up i love these now this because we don't have the thing on our paper here i don't know this one's got some raspberries or something raspberry yeah um it's probably a little more fizzy maybe it's good would be the word yeah like carbonated it's not really complicated but it's got a little fizz to it but it's good i'm gonna tell you this lobster roll the artichoke dip and either one of these drinks yep i say prepare all great together yeah must try did you come here and try get landed i really recommend this yeah both are good so i guess we'll try to uh finish up our division of the chips and dip and the uh lobster roll and decide who's going to get what drink it's going to be hard to choose y'all can you really come to daughter and we've women here for the flower and food festival several days now trying some amazing food haven't we yes it's been amazing but you see behind us where we're at the grist mill you know what that means don't you we have to stop that's right and get us some cinnamon bread because can you really make a trip to dollywood for whatever reason you came here i don't care if you came here just to use the bathroom you've got to go and get you some cinnamon bread that's what has to happen so luckily there's a bathroom on the way so you can stop and use that cinnamon bread go back out if you need to but anyhow so you get to do you have the pleasure you're from your viewing pleasure you get to watch us eat cinnamon bread oh gosh yes okay do you think it's gonna be the best thing here you go huh i think it's gonna be like one of the best things we've tried it probably will be you go first have you ever had baths in my no me either i'll pull this piece off here because honestly the crust is where it's at a little icing yeah about it all right put that back that's too big of a piece what's wrong with you yo i always have food problems [Applause] having issues all right but is is issues with cinnamon bread really a bad thing i don't think so how is it europe's good and honestly that's very good that's very good that is good that really is good it's not over sugary over cinnamony meany whatever that word may be it's but anyhow that's awesome so just want to throw this in here real quick that we you know try all kinds of guys might as well get the cinnamon bread too okay we are finishing up probably one of our last samples that we're gonna have time to try because we've been so busy over the last couple days here at uh dollywood but we're gonna try the waffle ice cream sandwich so it's a waffle two waffles dipped in chocolate oh and chopped pistachios then filled with your uh your choice of ice cream i got strawberry crazy pop let me decide there you go we didn't cut it in half kind of the sun is not really good on it but anyhow and it's melting but it's the only table we could find you seen don make a mess before watch this you might make a mess with this go ahead and grab that you might make a mess with this one oh think about that y'all and i didn't get any napkins which is a bad thing that is really good that is oh my ice cream is so good i could just have the ice cream drip in my mouth it's good okay i really hadn't tried dessert other than a cinnamon bread but you know you can't go wrong there you really can i gotta put it down i'm making a mess you gotta hurry deep [Music] i gotta talk to him unless they're waiting on us yeah anyhow the cinnamon bread can't go wrong you just can't i don't care if you've been trying food all day long you can't go wrong cinnamon bread but if you're here for this festival be sure to stop over here at the ice cream shop right across the spotlight bakery and get the ice cream sandwich ice cream waffle sandwich your flavor of ice cream you can choose you know we got strawberry if you want rocky road you want vanilla you want chocolate whatever but the waffle cones will be dipped in the the waffles will be dipping though i'm eating while you're talking yeah that's fine you're going to fish man you go ahead felicia so anyhow be sure to try that so if after you try all the other foods including your cinnamon bread swing over here and get some ice cream for dessert you won't regret it anything else there all right let's see it you done i'm not done yet okay it's very good though we are finishing up on our last day here for the um flywood food festival at dollywood i'm gonna have to do about go back and really do some walking i want to tell you so much food um we've eaten so much food and we we we had big plans to like do all those food samples the first day we thought we were going to get it done in one day um we this is our third day we haven't really done a whole lot of the food today we just tried that ice cream um sandwich it was really good and it was good to end the day yesterday we did some samples and saturday we did some samples a lot a lot of samples but we wanted to ride today so we've been doing some rides we were every coaster today yep but um y'all if you get the chance to come out to dollywood for their flower and food festival i really we really do recommend it and i'm gonna be honest there's a lot of people that ask whether dollywood is something that can be done in a day the answer is no um if you're wanting to enjoy shows rides you know the whole thing and especially when they have these festivals going on with the food i mean it's going to take you a couple days for sure um but but it's worth it yeah it really is it really is the food has been just top-notch the for the festival um they tried to do you know they had this festival last year but it kind of in 2020 but you know it just wasn't the same um you know but it's turned out great this time they had the booklet to give away with the stickers that was indeed that's that was neat yeah but um anyway what was your what would you say your favorite food was crazy pop oh you know i like a lot of it yeah but i'm about to go with the bloggie nachos okay i love the wonton chips and that sauce a lot of sriracha in it just it was just perfect i love them they were really good now within the srirachi then it was a little bit spicy for me if you can see in the video but my favorite oh i'm gonna i mean i guess i'm gonna have to go with the wings i like the i like i really really like the teriyaki sauce on the wings they were good and wings were really um the wings the lobster roll and the fish is probably nice cuban i love the cuban yeah it was really good but really if you're if you're gonna come i suggest getting the dining card uh most of the samples are anywhere around ten dollars for the food the drinks are like five the drinks run about five so you know it's definitely for the price of the dining cart if you're gonna get at least like three samples it's definitely worth it to get the actual dining pass um and is good through the rest of the uh flower food festival through june 7th so if you don't use it all in one then you're good to go
