I love the horror movie / villain aesthetic it’s giving. I think it’s fitting because the song itself is pretty moody and dark.
One of her best. I love the spiderweb portion.
This has to be my favorite Doja Cat music video to date. I mean, I expected it to be good, but not THIS good. From the treatment, overall concept, outfit and hairstyle changes, and even the red-light switch edit inspired by the TikTok trend that made Streets go viral were all on a whole other level and she took it there.
I have been a fan of Doja's since her The HotBox freestyle, her EP Purrr!, and her versatility is not new to me, but seeing her finally have the budget, publicity, the push and attention to showcase that makes me really happy for her.
Personally, the spiderwoman scenes were my absolute favorite! Whoever came up with the idea, structured the concept and helped her execute it this well deserves a raise.
Last, but not least: if this is how she is ending the Hot Pink era to enter the Planet Her one, I am beyond satisfied and it is undeniable that her sophomore album had a really good run.
I love how she started it with the Paul Anka song (that she sampled in Freak!) by incorporating the Tik Tok trend without being crazy cheesy!!! I wish that were the visual palette for the whole video.
Also that man is GORGEOUS.
Doja has always been an amazing performer, but does she have a history of dancing?
The rest of the video with the visuals are a little strange but great. Her body is amazing, hot, and so expressive. I want all her outfits. She plays crazy so well.
I love her, maybe I need to change my flair.
Doja with a budget is what I've been waiting for since 2014... We've been through it but expect more to come people. I remember her rehearsing choreo she never got to perform for the Purr EP. Apparently she used to always draft out a visual for each song even if they wouldn't become singles.
