oh honey i'm not gonna hurt you we heard about this dog who would be euthanized i saw her picture and fell in love oh baby girl i'm gonna love you forever she just had no idea what was going on we're home baby this is your new home hi beautiful girl you ready this is your new home i just gotta put this on she's gotta put this on your home now come on what a good girl oh what a brave girl this is your new home baby go on in yeah going she was very skeptical she kind of just stopped in the doorway and looked around for a couple minutes before actually entering come on baby this is your new home this is then she started to kind of slowly walk around and sniff things [Music] hi clementine what are you doing staring off into the distance she could just sit there staring at walls and shaking i think it was just so overwhelming he didn't make eye contact for maybe a couple months and then slowly it was just a little bit of eye contact [Music] hi climbing time what are you doing [Music] clementine some days we would think that she was totally out of her scared phase and then the next day she would be scared of us again so it's definitely a process we just gave her space and time and enticed her with a lot of treats [Music] when she did wander over to us we would just pet her really gently [Music] hi baby girl what are you doing i'm just sitting picking up on the couch with my mom it's been just the cutest sweetest thing watching her kind of come out of her shell she's come so far she loves loves pets on the face [Music] she's improved so much her skin her ears her face her weight we have two other dogs for a couple weeks they were a little bit skeptical of her but they indoctrinated her into their path they've been inseparable ever since her favorite thing is playing with her sister and brother now adopting clementine has changed our lives immensely getting her healthy mentally and physically and just watching her transformation has been the most rewarding experience of my life
