[Music] [Music] all right here we go drag racing the Jeep gladiator with the 3.6 liter v6 gas engine versus the Jeep Wrangler Unlimited diesel with a 3 liter turbocharged v6 diesel all right so that 260 horsepower and 440 pounds of torque I'm doing 2 wheel drive but something tells me you might regret that weren't being all cocky so let's do this this is the Sunrider for hardtop this can be horsepower and 410 pound feet of torque but this track right here has a Mopar performance air intake system and also a performance exhaust but at this heavier because it has a small lift and big tires all right so now because I'm racing a big old v8 I'm gonna use my secret trick and I'm gonna put this Jeep in four-wheel high so I'm in 4-wheel high so that I I can use four-wheel drive to put all that torque down to the ground all right I'm ready No you hear that that's a sound of victory Andre victory all don't even go there on the exhaust note okay [Music] the way I'm away what no way is catching up when I'm still away what do you mean well I have a giant Hemi engine and I have a performance air intake and the performance exhaust and I had a decent start [Applause] [Music] well Tommy four-wheel drive there I saw a little bit of slippage yeah I think so I heard a little bit of slippage you may have lost a little bit because [Music] all right well it's the same race with four-wheel drive in the f250 eight point six six now scroll back and see what mine was in the last whited yeah your last one was eight point seven one but you must not have had a very good launch all right Tommy's gonna launch and four-wheel drive I don't know if that's gonna help with us natural aspirated big-block v8 but let's see about twenty nine more than this will do yes but I think that will out oh this all day long you know just ever be true alright so four-wheel drive versus four-wheel drive servos rule I think it's sea level you'd have me oh here comes the turbo it's so close no we're good lunch that time it's so close I'm just touching out he's catching up [Music] one that looks so close to me neck-and-neck that might be a photo finish from where I'm standing and that big-block 7.3 liter gas v8 and the Ford sounds nice on the full throttle od literally I had you by the nose where is it well I'm a little bit wider than you are and I also have faster reflexes so why don't I run a quick 0-60 in the Wrangler just to see what that does sounds good [Music] two wheel drive or four-wheel drive [Applause] alright here we go you ready you got poked tire smoke and diesel smoke on that one you get a two-for-one there eight point seven Oh with of course a very smoky launch there I put me in four-wheel drive and do the same thing let's see if it's faster all right okay so obviously the boosted smokey launch is cool to look at but not very quick so gonna round another one this time let's go to four high traction control off hit the brake that's two thousand three thousand in launch oh wow that's a good launching for high powered eyes about 3500 rpm all right what was that time I think that's the winner winner chicken dinner Tommy that's as fast as it gonna get all right so eight point six one zero to 60 is the time my fastest time in this Jeep Wrangler three liter ego do you so boys would it be fair to say that what we have with the Jeep Wrangler diesel is the most fuel-efficient most torque II vehicle you can buy in America that tows the lease which means you have to choose a gladiator so for drag racing and for fuel efficiency get the diesel right but for
