so yeah let's we're gonna jump in first thing I want to talk about is the uh the test system with this one I'm using the core I9 3900k overclocked same sort of stuff that I've been doing in the previous videos everything's in the video description Down Below on this one I was using ddr4 because the ddr5 board uh that I had decided to crap out when I was doing these testing so just went ahead and used ddr4 board I should be having a ddr5 board coming in here today hopefully and then I get to have fun tuning that which by the way tuning ddr5 is a nightmare but we'll go over that in a future video so went that route we're going to be comparing the Intel Arc a770 16 gigabyte limited edition you know this guy right here um and we're going to be comparing that to the RTX 3060 TI because you can get those for roughly the same price on the used Market sometimes even a little bit cheaper so kind of like new versus used uh and then we're also going to be comparing it to the AMD RX 6700 XT which costs roughly about the same on the second hand Market both of those cards new are more expensive than this one and have less vram so a lot of people are like this card's like close in value but how does it really perform Intel just came out with their announcement the other day saying hey our stuff's doing way better and they're not wrong uh but I wanted to go ahead and test it in newer games as the DirectX 9 stuff we will check out next week and they're doing very well there by the way so if you're into older games this thing's doing amazing like a lot better than it was a couple of months ago and I'm I'm very surprised by that but we'll check some of that out later alrighty guys before we get into it this is kind of like a mini review e-win racing decided hey you want to check out one of our chairs and I was like yeah sure this is one of the things that obviously I'm not going to make a dedicated video on but I was like yeah I could check one of these out and if it's good product at a good price which it happens to be I'm like yeah I'll go ahead and let my guys know so they sent over one of their Night series chairs here which we'll take a look at on their website and I've been using it for a few days now I used it on the technomics podcast I used it on my podcast which obviously this is that video or cut from that video and I've been using it pretty much ever since and this chair is actually very very nice and very well built for the price tag and what I really like is right now they're offering with the promo code t-go you guys can get an extra 20 off so I'm like yeah let's go ahead and check this out so let's jump on over to their website and see what kind of deals they have right now if you are in the market for a new gaming chair all right so it looks pretty obvious this is the chair that they sent over here and uh what I found really interesting is the price tag that they have at only 229 that's actually pretty good considering how much money I spent on my other chair I'm like wow that's almost free when we check this guy out I mean it comes with all the features that you come to expect from a premium gaming chair you do have your neck rest pillow you do have your lumbar support pillow and they strap in really really well so I'll throw up some b-roll footage of my actual chair but like I said I've been using it really for the past week or so and overall I'm very impressed compared to the fact that this is about a third of what my other chair cost so obviously there's not a whole lot to say there it's very subjective I find it very comfortable it's a great chair it's made well it's made with the same materials as my other chair which once again like I said cost about three times as much as this one so I'm like hey yeah go ahead and take advantage of that promo code just use t-gog in the promo code description when you go ahead and check out so save that twenty percent and uh yeah if you're in the market I can definitely recommend it so let's go ahead and get back to the video all right so we're kicking off with cyberpunk 2077 and as you can see not so much um by the way I do want to preface the a770 is running at stock which I will talk about later these are both overclocked to the max that they would go so if you wanted to go with like a stock versus stock knock off about 10 from each of these and that would be more accurate but this was meant to be overclocked but I couldn't do it and once again I will talk about that here in a little bit anyways even if this was tuned in overclocked this is not getting anywhere near these guys so in cyberpunk definitely need some work on those drivers Gotham Knights very similar story I mean we're looking at about half half the performance in Gotham Knights what I find very interesting about this one this is a game that Intel's like hey this is like a sponsored game for us well you need to get it running a little bit better in my opinion uh God of War all right so we're definitely doing a little bit better what's interesting is the 6700 XT takes a commanding lead down here at 1080p at 1440p it evens up and you're going to see that a lot so that's another takeaway from this testing the 60 the 6700 XT is a absolute monster at 1080P and it's also really really good with its uh frame time consistency you will see that that's really good and I will touch on that a little bit more later but anyways this is another game not looking so good for the a770. however then you come over here to Call of Duty which is another sponsored game 52 59.70 so the 6700 XT at 1080p does run away with it on this one but it's not too far behind an overclocked 30 60 ti so if you knock off 10 that's roughly the same or if you can pump this up about 10 which is about what you can get out of these regularly um that's that's not bad and it's pretty much the same story over here at 1440p so yeah that's actually a pretty good showing there and then moving on over to playtail this actually isn't too bad either a 1080p we have 43 FPS these guys are up in the 60s if you throw on an extra 10 this would be closer to 50. so it's not actually that far behind and kind of the same story at 1440p so it is slower than these two but not as much as we saw in some of the other games then we have Spider-Man this is very impressive so we have the a770 very much keeping up with the 36 to TI and 6700 XT it's a little bit slower but once again you had 10 percent on it'll actually be beating the 70 6700 XT and right about where the 3060 TI is here at 1080P and pretty much the same story here at 1440p so it does very very well in Spider-Man by the way I forgot to mention but these are all with high preset no Ray tracing or any of that stuff all right moving on over to Tiny Tina's wonderlands uh this one right here we can see that there is a bit of a gap but we do see the 6700 XT once again taking a nice little lead over the 3060 TI if you jump this up about 10 percent it's not too terribly far behind and same kind of thing over here at 1440p so yeah this is another showing that's pretty solid Total War Warhammer three it's kind of similar it does fall a little bit behind the a770 at 56 then you go up to 77 and then 67. so obviously this game much prefers the Nvidia graphics cards uh even compared to the AMD cards so yeah if this was about 10 higher not too far behind the AMD card here I would say and same sort of situation would actually be ahead at 1440p so I'd say that this is another showing that's pretty strong for the a770 it's getting near this class of graphics card all right and then there we go we got The Witcher 3 this is with dx12 once again High preset no Ray tracing and look at that we gotta win the a770 for the W Now The Witcher 3 is one of those games that really really likes memory bandwidth memory latency and uh pretty much everything like this thing just wants all that sort of stuff so we can see here that maybe it's got a it's even better with driver overhead than AMD not really sure uh but we have a win here at 112 FPS on the one percent low for the a770 versus 103 for the 3060 TI and 108 on the 6700 XT at 1440p it ties the 3060 TI and is about 10 behind the 6700 XT so once again if we got the overclocks on these guys that'd be about on par with the top at 1440p and extend its lead at 1080p in theory if we're not uh CPU and memory bound uh and then for crisis remastered can it run crisis well yep 60fps Plus on the one percent low at 1080p it's right in line with these guys and once again this is another game where it's just kind of hanging in there with these guys just fine we take a look at the 10-game one percent low average we can see a 1080p the a770 comes in at 66 FPS and then the 360 TI comes in at 85 and then we have the 6700 XT at 91. so yeah that's about what it's not quite fifty percent so let's say 40 gap between these two right here that's a pretty big gap and then similar sort of situation here at 1440p once again if we throw on about a 10 uplift for overclocking that would actually get us a little bit closer but still overall the other cards are faster from AMD and Nvidia alright so this is kind of a tale of two different cities type of thing right so you saw in a bunch of games it's pretty much on the heels it's kind of neck and neck or at least in the ballpark of these graphics cards and once again the 36 TI and the 6700 XT those are fully overclocked so they're running at least 10 percent faster than their stock configurations the a770 is running 100 stock and the reason why that had to be ties into the reason why I do not recommend a770 or the Intel graphics cards to just Joe Joe Normie gamer and that's because they have some quirks so for example this card behind me with the drivers that I tried I tried about three different drivers and if I go ahead and bump up the power limit that's it like I do nothing else I just say hey you can have some more power it will cap my uh fan speed on the graphics card to about 1200 RPM now this will run at about 17 1800 RPM under load even at stock so that means basically the fans just won't spin fast enough well go ahead and turn the fans up a little bit faster well this is the problem with something like MSI afterburner not supporting the a770 that doesn't really work I even looked around I couldn't find anything definitively not saying that they don't exist I just couldn't find one to where I can manually tune my own fan curve which I believe that would solve the problem then we'd be just fine uh Intel is going ahead and going to be implementing that into the future but this is just one of those weird little things that happen to come up now the very first Arc a770 that I had would just straight up crash anytime I launched a more modern direct X11 game so these cards are definitely a little quirky I did notice that on certain systems it would work better certain drivers these things would happen so I would say that this is this is still a very quirky product at this point in time however this particular unit with the newer drivers that I tested just the other day or it was like last week those worked absolutely fine at stock I just couldn't touch anything but it worked perfectly 100 Flawless and I'm like this is pretty good same thing but I still can't go ahead and raise my power limit without raising your power limit you're not going to get any more performance out of these now these cards can very easily hit 2700 2650 2700 megahertz uh depending on what bin you get and this is the reason why I'm saying you're gonna get another 10 out of this just fine because of that 256 bit bus it's got plenty of memory bandwidth um one of my members he went ahead and used that little trick where you can go ahead and get even more power into it uh the cooling solution then becomes the limitation but yeah this thing scales very very well it's part of the reason why I'm interested in the ASRock one with the giant mega cooler really wish it was a 16 gig card but whatever I'll probably pick one up when they go back on sale uh just to see how far we can go can this thing hit three gigahertz probably with the right cooling um the other downside is you can't tune memory so even if I get to that speed probably not going to have the memory bandwidth I need to fully utilize that so there's a lot of things that Intel needs to work on they need to add in a lot of features that we take for granted on a lot of a lot of other things uh it might be in their best interest to work with MSI to somehow pay their afterburner guy to go ahead and add this in so we can just get all of the features in there that we use for tuning and overclocking so we don't have to wait for Intel to implement them that would be very nice because everybody uses afterburner that's this is me talking to Intel let's let's make this happen find a way to help them get that going that'd be great and then I can go ahead and test this thing properly but yeah overall the experience that I had was very good um the out of the box experience worked just fine for the most part like I said I did have a card using older drivers that did not work that's the reason why I bought one I think it was the end of November and we are now in February basically I had to shift graphics cards back and forth intel was kind enough to send me over another one while I was waiting for something in transit to come in so that was kind of nice uh but yeah overall I'm very impressed with the product if you're a PC Enthusiast you know how to troubleshoot you can Tinker you're cool with reinstalling drivers um you're cool with going on the internet finding your own solutions for things like your fan not working at least attempting to fix this on your own if you're cool with all that sort of stuff I would absolutely pick one up if you also don't have another graphics card that is you know this good or better or if you just want to Tinker with it the main reason why I think people are going to go with these is to say that they they're just upset with AMD and Nvidia in their current pricing it looks like Intel understands this and I can see them moving forward kind of hammering that budget angle they've already dropped the price of the a750 a bit a lot of people think that these will go down I think the eight gigabyte versions will probably be 2.99 but you know we'll see if they go down that's cool whatever but I think that they understand that the 500 Market on down is really where the majority of PC gamers are and once they get their drivers up to Snuff they get some of these quality of life features implemented so we can even just very quickly and easily fix little things like the fan not spinning fast enough if I could just go run it a hundred percent boom done call it a day and then I could throw on you know an extra 100 Watts on the thing that'd be really really nice now the last thing I do want to mention is these are very very pretty now I did want to put it on this system here behind me so you guys can see it I'll throw up some b-roll in the actual video but it's actually in my system right now I was like you know what it's already in there I want to see if it handles the streaming and the recording and how this does and obviously it's working pretty well so overall I I like it but it's one of those you want to buy it either to spite the other companies if that's the route you want to go uh or just buy it as a novelty at this point in time or if you mainly play old games like DirectX 9 games rather uh DirectX 9 runs very very well and we'll take a look at that uh if you're a Linux guy you might also want to hold off a little bit as I've heard that that's a little quirky but we will test that out as well in the future but yeah that's really all I have to say it's kind of uh it's on its way you can see where Intel's going you can see that's going to be about on par with a 3060 TI 6700 XT in that range if and when they can get the drivers completely up to speed is it worth gambling on that no keep an eye on the situation I would recommend just waiting until I come out and go yeah it's working on everything just buy the thing it's like the DirectX 9 stuff yeah that's working great just buy it for that when I tell you DirectX 11 and 12 and all the other games are kind of at that level that's when yeah just just then Joe Normie should go out and buy one but yeah if you want to Tinker with it it's fun uh by the way
