Do anti fraud pens work? My check washing experiment results

hey YouTubers a couple weeks ago I did a video on which pens stopped check washing these from wiping out your account um and I had a lot of people question uh what what I was talking about because apparently nobody in the world uses checks anymore actually millions of people use checks for adverse reasons and I thought it was a good video but more importantly I thought it would be fun to find out actually if these pens actually work in the video I made last week we won over how the pennant most people recommend is the uniball 207 so it's a gel pen but other people said just a regular gel pen would work too so what's happening is we're going to be using different solutions with the gel pen irregular click pen and the uniball and I've got I'm not going to tell you exactly what is in each solution let's come down I've got four Solutions a b a i a and t you probably know what they are but I don't want to encourage anybody uh to uh participate in Tech washing and removing uh signatures and so on so I'm not going to tell you exactly what they are but they're commonly uh discussed on internet as different solutions that are used to remove ink except for this one they're all available in either Walmart or Home Depot and this one can be uh also purchased like at Home Depot or even Amazon if you order it so let's get started I wrote uniball click pen and pilot G2 on each of the back of these checks and we'll put them in each solution and we'll see what happens after about 10 minutes now like I said I don't want to encourage people to do this and apparently a lot of people question the the need to do this because nobody uses checks anymore um but I think there's quite a few people especially for uh rentals and here in the U.S anyway uh it's it's cheaper for landlords to use checks than a other type of payment services so I think that's one of the reasons people still use text also they're still certain uh businesses and services that require or you will let people use a check so uh but I did get a lot of comments like in our country we haven't done this since 1894. so it will be interesting to see now some checks that you get from the bank have something in the paper that a certain Solutions are used the paper ink on them will degrade anyway so if you try to use something the the print on the check will become degraded one of the problems nowadays with Digital Services people use their their phones and so on they don't have to go into a bank and they can just use their phone I've seen where people actually will use a a white out and stuff with and uh so let's set the timer to 10 minutes give these a little Shake and okay exhibiting an abundance of caution due to the fact that some of these chemicals have been known to cause cancer in kangaroos in Idaho working at the speed of science we've decided to move out to the balcony b a IAT this is solution B that's interesting the uniball and solution B is still there The Click pin is still there but it's faded but the regular gel pen aren't the gel pen is gone sounds pretty interesting that's solution B solution a hmm and this one the uniball is there in the Dell is there but the click pen is gone solution a seeing the ball is still hanging in there but the other gel pen was good for a I'm kind of surprised solution i a get in there hmm the unit ball is still there as is the click pen and the Ia pilot this is for solution IA 99 solution I am not going to say what it is but the last one which was my favorite but if I want to have the most hopes for foreign it didn't do anything the most expensive one the most powerful one the one I thought would work the best didn't touch any of them hmm all right guys here's the results on The Big Board uniball pass all four Solutions b-a-i-a-n-t nothing was removed with the quick ball Point pen it's such a regular ballpoint paint it's not a gel pen there was some fading on the BNA solution but nothing was removed on the Ia and a t have however the jail pilot it was definitely removed with the B solution and there's some fading with the a but it passed on the int however with some of these Solutions like the B the paper does get uh degraded so if you were to take it to a teller I think they could see something was up but not if you if people were being criminals using their phone um or they can do different things with filters and so on but if you want to be safe it looks to me like the uniball 207 is just what they said that's the one to use to help keep people from removing ink from your checks and once again for all those people to say that they haven't used checks in 97 years next week I'll be doing a video on where you can get low-cost floppy disk all right guys it was fun to find out if this exactly worked I enjoyed this little experiment and new stuff every week it's a the it's a variety Channel you never know what you're going to find because you never know what I'm going to have and I
