DIY....twist wires easy and fast

all right guys i want to show you how to make these little twist eyes my camera will focus it will not focus that's all right you know what i'm talking about stick around i'm going to show you how to do how to do this all right guys i'm going to show you how to make these quick and simple easy and fast you'll need a few things first thing you'll need like a round piece of pipe you see i just got this one strapped to the inside of my work table and you can see right here i've took the hacksaw and i've cut it right down the center and i've also spread it out a little bit the reason i did that is to fit anywhere from 16 gauge wire down smaller you know 20 gauge uh and that's uh that's your first step using the piece of brown pipe this is just um it's emt but it's a it ain't half inch it's smaller and i have no idea where i picked it up at but any small pipe will work for this purpose next thing i've done is found a piece of scrap wood i've cut a drilled a couple holes at the end you can this is a this will slide over my conduit i just showed you in just a second ago and this is going to work now you can use a three-quarter dial or any kind out but i had this uh laying around this is off of a tap and die set i have a couple extra ones and i just made the screw to where it just it actually just screws in there kind of tight to get in there shaking the table and everything else hang on with me and i can just slide this over top of that i'm trying to look at the camera and do it at the same time and what i normally use is i try to get this wire on the rolls this is 20 gauge this 18 gauge brass and i think this is 20 gauge brass here and what i do is just slide it over the hole like that like so now i know some of the guys use a roller to pull out the end and it'll actually sit like that you might have to modify this a little bit wider and make like a strap to hold this down but it'll be the same principle that's how that does the only thing you'll need is a set of pliers now this will be for the first the first twist and after that you won't need it so let me show you how this works you want to slide it through the hole remember that's just going to be on your first one and done so your next next one this is actually going to hold your hold your place so you got a you know something to hang on to and just keep doing that making your eyelets and just twisting around each time [Applause] [Music] probably shaking wiggle the table pretty bad try not to wiggle the table and there it is you're gonna have a big giant ball like this and you get done and you know you got to snap them off and this works on all of them just work for your brass this is that thicker brass i'm going to try to hold it about without the pliers on this first one to give you an idea what does it twist my fingers so just that first one then from here on out you're good to go that works on the heavy brass here's the thin brass this is the uh i use this on the small baits i see this has already got a spot i leave on here so i shouldn't have to do anything other than just hold it like that you don't need your drill running 100 miles an hour to twist these all you need to do is put a little pressure on the back side here and i shut the table sorry about that and twist it up [Music] fast easy and simple [Music]
