DIY TEXTURED WALL ART- DIY 3D WALL ART

foreign [Music] welcome back to my channel glitter babes today I'm creating wall decor for this piece you can use a canvas but since this is my first time trying this out I'm going to be using this picture frame that I've had for a minute now and I will be covering it with foam board that I pre-cut and I am just taking my staple gun and going around the perimeter [Music] next I took a sheet and cut it in half and made sure that it was more than enough to cover the canvas next I'll be using this tight Bond wood glue that I got from the Home Depot and I am mixing it with water and y'all my consistency was not good I ended up having to add more glue in in my opinion you should have more glue than water I'm mixing the sheet and the water together and then I'm going to drain it out or strain it out and throw it on top of the canvas so there's no wrong way to do this project I just decided that I wanted my lines to be slanted so that's what I'm doing making my line slant [Music] and I'm just going across the canvas and making sure that the fabric is in this the right place that I want it to be in and also I am using black fabric I've seen it done mostly in white but I wanted to see how it would look in a darker color after I got the fabric where I wanted it I took a paintbrush and I'm just smoothing out the wrinkles and basically just giving it a more defined look [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] after that was done I let it dry for an hour and I came back with Mod Podge and I did go over the fabric with a blow dryer while I was waiting for it to dry so that definitely helped it dry faster [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] was done I then went over the fabric with black paint and I also got this paint from Home Depot [Music] [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] [Music] after the fabric was mostly dry I turned the canvas around and started to staple the fabric to the back I then laid the canvas on the ground and cut off all the excess fabric [Music] I let it dry for a couple more hours and this is how it looked when it was black now at the end I want you all to tell me which one you like the most so that one was the black one and then I went over it with a mist of gold paint so if you all don't know what I mean by that is I just took the gold spray and I just went over it not too detailed but just the mist of it and now I'm going in between with the black paint so you can still see hints of the gold so this is the second look of the canvas and then the last canvas I went in heavy and covered the whole canvas with gold and I want you all to let me know which one did you like the best did you like the first canvas the second canvas or the third thank you all so much for watching please remember to like comment and subscribe and I'll see you later glitter babes [Music]
