DIY KEYCHAINS using things you already have...

hey guys today I'm gonna be making keychains out of takeout containers so here's my container and you have to make sure it has the triangle recycling sign with arrows and in number six it has to be a number six because anything else probably won't work so anyways you can't really draw anything so I'm making a letter j' for my friend jeremy so I found this bar to be fun and I'm just tracing over it using my phone with an ultra fine point sharpie then I retraced it with a regular sharpie then I'm and trace ice bearing is santa hat and holding hot dogs so I just did the same thing so just tracing it with ultra fine point and then the regular then I got germy in this intricate font I forgot what fun it was but I just traced over that and yeah same thing then after I cut them out of the border thing then separated them into threes now I'm taking the hole puncher and just hole punching where I want the teaching hole to be so I put a hole by the J and hold by the Hat then a hole on top of the letter then I went and cut it up some more I kept the rectangle shape for the name and just cut around the hole then for ice bear I cut more closer to the shape so it kind of borders along the edge of the design and I did the same for the letter day so now that we have it cut out it's time to put it in the oven so I have some parchment paper and I'm just laying them on top of it you don't have to use parchment paper but I think it helps with it not sticking or something I actually don't know I haven't tried it with anything else then I let them stay in the oven for two to three minutes at 325 degrees Fahrenheit it's basically going to happen is that it will start shrinking it doesn't happen immediately but it will shrink and so it's kind of hard to see I tried to wipe the fogginess before but it just wasn't working out but you can still see it a little so it curls up and all pretty slowly but once you see it stop shrinking or lays back flat or after two to three minutes you can take that out and quickly take a flat object and press those down because it will curl if you don't it cools out really fast so you really got a speed on that one but anyways after that you got these hard plastic charms and here's the thickness after the oven and to prove they have indeed hardened here's me moving it around and standing all hard plasticy [Music] then I have these ball chain teachings and I'm just putting it through the hole and now the keychains I ended up putting them separately because I thought it was too much to be on one so the I spare one has his own chain then I put the letter and name one together and yeah here's how it looks and I actually made more so here some of them this one is a cake roll the Kakao characters I hope I'm saying that right I don't know cacao pretzel and toast and juice and milk boxes anyways that is it for this video I hope you enjoyed it if you did please give this video a thumbs up subscribe and don't forget to turn on that notification bell thanks to my social medias will be in the description box and thank you guys so much for watching and see you guys next time bye [Music]
