DIY CUSTOM PRESS ON NAILS 🧞‍♀️| *they look like acrylics* | Ty Dimez

Oh [Music] hey guys so today I'm gonna be showing you how I do my custom press-on nails so first I'm gonna start by opening the Pinterest app and I'm going to pick a nail design that I like sometimes I do freestyle nails but today I'm gonna be doing these nails so I'm gonna take my nail holders and I'm going to pick out 10 now holders and I'm gonna put nail tabs on them because I like nail tabs better than wall tech but should we use wall tack - so now I'm gonna go ahead and pick out my base now so these are just short oval nails that I used to basically act as a natural now that you're gonna put a tip on so I picked all my sizes and then I match a curb tip to the base now and the reason I do this is because I like my nails curved and they do not make curb full cover nails like they don't they're all straight and I don't like straight nose on me I like your pants so I have to basically make a whole full cover nail Society so right here you see me basically taking the shine off the top of the base now and inside the tip so that when I move in together they are stuck they're not going anywhere and I put a good amount of glue and I just glued them together so now I'm gonna go ahead after I've done all the nails I'm gonna go ahead and file the line of demarcation and I'm gonna actually file the shine off the whole nail as well so that when I put my product on it can stick [Music] so now that I've done all my nails I'm gonna go ahead and start cutting and shaping them to the shape that I want and today I'm gonna be doing a coffin so now I've shaped all the nails and I'm just gonna start applying them to the nail holders so I can get started with my application process now I'm gonna go on my McCart base shell and I'm gonna play that all over the nails you don't really have to do this I've noticed that it actually doesn't really make a difference but if you're putting product on a natural now you definitely want to put on a base coat so the product is [Music] [Music] so now I'm going to go ahead and care those in this OPI lab now I'm gonna take my Tamiko poly gel and the color clear and I'm gonna use this non acetone polish remover Isis with it but I don't really like this probably jail because I don't know if it was my fault but it had like a lot of bubbles in it and it kind of messed up my in capsule to signs that you're gonna see in the end and I'm only gonna do it in there because I don't want my nose too big [Music] and when you're laying your poyo you want to make sure that you get all the access punch out from this side then no because when it curious you want to do as least filing as possible if that makes sense now I'm just gonna take these flame decals which are trash I don't know and it's because I bought Josh decals or I just don't know how to use them but they were like super sticky and I couldn't like get them up without them ripping and I actually put the flame decal on before I put the poly job because I wanted an in capsule and I'm also gonna do that with my pinky finger because I'm actually gonna do a glitter nail so I put the glitter on before I put the poly gel so the glitter could be encapsulated so now I put polish on all the nails and I'm just gonna go ahead and reshape and file the poly Joe so it can be a smooth [Music] [Music] for puja you actually don't have to use it you felt I only use it you fell because I'm kind of lazy or whatever and you definitely can go ahead and use a hand file because poly gel is really soft it's not like acrylic it is very soft and easy to file before I paint the nails i'ma go ahead and do my finger I wanted a pixie dust nail so I started putting jewels on the nail with poly tail I don't know why he's probably Joe but I just used probably Jim and I put Jules on the nails so in between the pixie is there could be jewels cuz I just so cute to me and I don't have a nail picker or a jewel picker so I just went ahead and placed them down my finger and in between that I put base gel so I can basically dip the nail and pixie dust [Music] now I'm gonna take my over normal glow-in-the-dark polish it's just pretty purple and I'm just gonna apply that to my middle and index finger I end up putting three coats because this polish is gonna thin but [Music] so for the middle finger and the pinky finger I went ahead and just put this my cart top coat so now I'm taking them apart top coat again and putting it on the back of the flame now because they look but as you can see the nail looks smoking regardless but here are the nails I'm gonna show you me going them on they're so pretty and so this is me showing you how the bees look straight on to the pie gel versus them being on the base gel and the poly gel looks way better that's on the left so now I'm just gonna take the shine on my nails once again you do not have to use a file you can deadly use a hand out but I'm lazy so I'm just gonna follow the shot up my nails and I'm gonna put a bunch of glue and I'm gonna stick the nails on because that's what makes my nose stick for weeks but you want to be careful with these because you have to remember to not actually acrylic or actual Podge on nails so just be careful and you can also use super glue but just be careful with removal I know so you want to just get a q-tip and wipe off any excess glue that seeps out because it are gonna probably use a lot of glue now here's the finished product I'm gonna go ahead and take my cuticle oil and these are my nails I'm really happy with it and I hope you liked it and if you wanna see you do anything else
