DIVINE HEALING SERIES | Episode 1: Is Healing Always the Will of God? - Audrey Mack

messages new teaching available that will come right to your mailbox amen but today I have in my heart to teach on something very important I don't know if you noticed but all across this nation and across the world hospitals clinics emergency centers are booming they are building at a rapid pace why because we live in a society that is sick people are sick even in the body of Christ and you know what it's interesting to me is when Jesus was on earth 2,000 years ago Jesus was the body he had a body he was Jesus with the head and a body and he was perfectly healthy he never suffered any sickness and so the body of Christ today we should also be healthy and so I have it in my heart to help the body of Christ to be healthy to receive their healing amen it is my experience I've been a Christian up for 32 years and I have been healed of numerous things I've been healed of cancer I've been healed of appendicitis I've been healed of what do you call that you know general carpal tunnel syndrome and numerous other things and I have in my travel I have seen thousands of people getting healed miracles you know I want to encourage you you can go my web page and I have a testimony section and you can read so many people who receive healing and receive the miracle one that is for me amazing is a young woman who had cancer of the ovary and the doctors had to in in urgency had to remove one of her ovaries and because this young woman had heard my teaching and got her young sister of 12 years old prayed for her that young sister who had heard my teaching she she prayed for her her sister and that sister not only God healed of cancer but you know what God did she believes she said God I want to have children one day so if God you are powerful if you you can heal me of cancer you can also give me a new ovary well long story showed that young woman not only was healed of cancer but her ovary grew back that is God and so I know that some of you maybe have a hard time believing that healing is always a will of God and and I know I meet a lot of people that had bad experiences for example they themself at one time prayed for healing and they didn't get healed or they pray for a loved one who they said man they had faith and they didn't get healed they died maybe of cancer and so the temptation come to say well look so-and-so had faith and they died oh I prayed for healing and I didn't get my healing so you come to the conclusion that well God is sovereign God decide who gets healed when the get healed and if they get healed and and it's been in the pain even of seeing a loved one die it is very easy to come to that place of automatically by default assuming that healing is not always the will of God so in this next session that we're gonna have together in this series on on healing I need to address these things first and foremost and you're gonna see that in this series I'm going to go from the book of Genesis all the way to the book of Revelation and we will be in the word and use the word and my because I don't want to go outside of the word amen or experience our testimonies prove the word I mean it's a supplement to the Word of God but we don't build the will of God from our experience the will of God is found in the Word of God I hope you agree with me on that amen and so I want but you know something that I've discovered also that very often those people that prayed for healing and didn't see the healing or pray for a loved one sometime I found people that come to me and say the whole church prayed for so-and-so they had so much faith and yet she died you know and and and so it's more comforting to automatically say well it must not have been the will of God because it is true it is sometimes hard to assume some part of responsibility you know and and so I felt some time that those people in their pain they will say well it must not have been the will of God and then it's the same people then that will start building up some doctrines to prove that it cannot have been the will of God that it's not always the will of God then we'll take some verses sometime with that understanding the whole Council of God or the character of God or you the revelation that we get from the new testamental through the Ministry of Jesus and sometime those people will be very how can I say that aggressive or even vin they will go on a march to prove that healing is not the way the will of God but I said sometimes I smile because I said it's amazing sometime that those same people that will go to March to prove that healing is not always the will of God if they get sick is the same people that will tell you yeah sickness is sometime the will of God those same people will go to the doctor they will take medicine are you telling me you're trying to get out of the will of God if sickness is the will of God isn't there a hypocrisy there you see they get sick and they want to get out of sickness because it's something in us that realizes that sickness is not normal our body is not meant to carry the sickness but it's to me it's hypocrisy that those same people that preach against healing being the will of God on a different day they'll go and take medicine or go to the doctor or take a treatment to get out of sickness so you you see even the old body knows that healing is not good in man even their own heart know that they shouldn't put up with sickness but I want to address something because often time those people will say well God is sovereign so it is God that decide if somebody gets healed and if you pray for healing and the person doesn't get healed then it's because God is sovereign and God decided that that person it was not his will to get to get healed so I want to address that first and foremost right at the beginning I do agree God is sovereign but we've got to find out what exactly it is what does it mean when we say God is sovereign God is sovereign and I agree if you mean that God is all-powerful is above everything and everyone that God is so powerful almighty and about is if you allow me to say it this way is on top of the food chain he is like the biggest is the big one yes I agree but when people most of the time will say that God is sovereign what they really imply is God does anything he wants hi everyone wants whenever he wants and God will even break is a rules because he's sovereign if that is your definition of sovereignty then I cannot agree with you I don't because yes God is sovereign but you know what God who is sovereign his world the and it doesn't contradict really because John 1:1 you remember Jesus said and I believe what Jesus says jesus said he said in the beginning the Word was with God and the Word was God and even he says the world was made flesh Jesus was the word and the word was at the beginning and the Word was God and is God and he's still God so God is sovereign but the Bible says in some 138 verse 2 it says that God has exalted magnified elevated his word above everything you know what that means that God is sovereign but he limited he is worthy sovereign God says my world will be above everything even my name he said he's exhausted his world of Bobby's name even a Bobby's is reppin his reputation the world is sovereign and you know what Jesus in John 1:3 he continued and said everything that God has done he did it with the work through the word by the word and so nothing that is done is done side of the world God's will is known through the word God's will is accomplished through the word and you know what God when the word says in Psalm I think it's it's 105 he says God sent His Word to heal us and so God gave us his word and you know when somebody gives his word you know what they do they limit themselves to their word example if I tell you I'll be at your house at five o'clock I give you my word you know what that means at that moment I limited myself to my word and if I'm a person of my word and a person of honor and integrity I will I will look upon my word I will fulfill my word I will be there at five o'clock whatever time I told you I'll be there I'll be there because I will fulfill my word and like God said I love that he said he watches God watches it's Jeremiah 1:12 I believe he watches over his word to fulfill it to accomplish it and you know God is a God of his word God is the word and God is the god of his word God watches over his word to accomplish it because his will is in his word his his integrity is in his word and here's the word and God is never never gonna break his word listen to what some 89 verse 34 says he said my covenant I will not break nor alter the word that has gone out of my lips God has given us his word to heal us and God is not gonna break his word God is not gonna break his rule yes God is sovereign but he's not gonna break his word and if God has given us his word he's gonna watch over it to fulfill he's not gonna break his word he's not gonna send one day oh yes by the we are myself carrying your sickness on the tree I took upon myself and bore your diseases that's what Matthew 8 17 says so one day God speaks this word and then one day said oh by the way I'm sorry I changed my mind I'll break my word today I don't want to heal so-and-so so I'm gonna break my word that is not God that is not a God of integrity is the word he gave us his word and he's not gonna take his word and take him back that's who God is but you know often time when people don't get healed we've got to have enough maturity we've got to have enough humility you see it takes humility to to realize that if I prayed and prayed for healing and I didn't get healed it was not God's fault it was not God who broke his word it was not God who changed his mind we've got to have enough humility to say you know what maybe there's something on my part that I did or didn't do or I was not there was a short circuit on my part that short-circuited the power of power of God maybe you see it takes humility to take some responsibility but listen to what Jesus said I love that in Matthew chapter 13 you know that when Jesus was giving parables and people said why do you speak in parables and Jesus says because they have eyes but they don't see they have ears they don't hear they have a heart that has been harder than that they don't understand and he says I speak in parables like those who only the world that are hungry for the word those who have ears to hear eyes to see who had a heart ready to understand that parable will be unlocked they'll understand and then he finished by saying that but those people they have eyes but they don't see they are ears but they don't hear their heart listen to this have hardened and he said less and and and any said they they do not want to hear the truth less they have to repent and the word repent is the Greek word Metanoia and the word Metanoia means to change the way you think and when you change the way you think it will change the way you act what you do how you live and so what was Jesus saying listen he said they have eyes but they don't see they have ears but they don't hear they have a heart they have hardened their heart lest they have to repent lest they have to change the way they think and I can heal them what was Jesus saying here it's profound if you pay attention it is so profound Jesus was saying I read you feel people I want to heal everybody paraphrase I add because Jesus went around healing all that was his desire and his passion but Jesus says he said I want to heal but some of them have to be willing to change the way they think so I I can heal them you know there is even a passage that comes to my mind it's in mark chapter 6 where it says that there Jesus could not do and he might have worked it didn't say he didn't want you he says he couldn't the son of God couldn't because of their unbelief you see Jesus the Son of God wanted to heal but when people didn't get healed often Tommy's because they refused to believe or they had something against him or they had so much unbelief that even Jesus couldn't heal them and so Jesus says right here he said you see if you are willing to change the way you think to get down those fortresses of religion of tradition that has been passed on to you that's what Jesus says and in mark chapter 7 verse 7 through 13 he says you make the border in verse 13 you make the Word of God of no effect of no power because of your tradition and let you have passed down from generation to generation so this today together in the last minute that we have to get I want to show you that when people don't get healed it's not because God broke his word in his sovereignty changed his mind and broke his word broke his promise even broke his own integrity no it's because some of us have been taught the wrong way some of us think the wrong way some of us had blinders in front of our spiritual eyes and spiritual ears and our heart has been hardened by religion by different false teaching that is hindering us to be able to see the power of God released in our mind and you know I'm gonna add something I'm gonna go deep in the water you know there's one time I met a young woman loved God with all of her heart she was in faith she was men she believed healing you know the Word of God healing was a will of God but you know she went to a church she went to an assembly that priest that healing is not the will of God they you know so on one hand she would listen to the word and pray for healing and believe you know hard that God was gonna heal her and Men she had she was just really strong but one day she would hear this and the second day she would go and be in an atmosphere and around people she had a whole entourage of people that spoke you know that didn't believe that she believed and you know what Jem says he said let not a man who is double minded mean that listens to two different voices that goes on to different levels and hear two different messages let not that man leave that it can receive anything from the Lord because he is unstable in all this way so together what I'm gonna try to do in this teaching on divine healing I want to build such a strong for nation you see I want to remove all the shaky waters I want you build a strong foundation jesus said if you build your house on the rock of the world if if a tornado or if a storm comes you'll still stand when your foundation has to be rock-solid you see and that's the case for healing your you will see healing you see you will met you will see healing in your life you will pray for this thing that get here but first of all you've got to have such a strong foundation that whatever voice comes against it whatever storms attacks it you'll stand still on that rock solid foundation and that healing is always the will of God amen so I'm gonna start a little bit and we'll pick up in the next session amen but I want to show you right from the beginning you see in the book of Genesis you see Genesis 1 you can have really a open door into the perfect will of God and God is the same yesterday today and forever he doesn't try and change his will is the same his will is eternal and the will of God for men that was at the beginning still remained the same and what was the will of God we see what Genesis 1:1 you know some people said well God uses sickness so if sickness is the will of God or you know that your God uses you know all of that you know and I'm gonna talk about in this series I'm gonna address a lot of the false doctrines a lot of the things that have been injected into the church that is keeping people in bondage so I hope you'll follow all the way to the end but today I want to show you at the beginning when God created man he created him perfect spirit soul and body do I know that because Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 God said let us follow son Holy Spirit make man in our image in our likeness and I know one thing one truth you will not dispute is that God is perfect God is perfect spirit soul and body amen do you agree with that and if God created man in His image in his likeness in man it means that God created man at the beginning totally healthy totally whole in his body with that an inch of sickness and you know what I would have a hard time imagining God at the beginning said let us create Oh let us create cancer and he looked at it and say wow cancer this is good let us create deformities or let us create diabetes and he looked at it he said wow this is good this is ridiculous no God looked at men that was healthy and whole in spirit soul and body nothing missing nothing broken nothing you know sick or anything because God never created sickness and God created men so whole and so healthy that he could look at it and say wow this is very very good do you know what I'm talking about and you comes you cannot find anywhere in the first week of creation when God created everything you see God created everything and he did not create sickness or he did not create men with sickness or even the ability to handle sickness that's the very reason why that you if you are being attacked in your body with sickness everything in you wants to get rid of it why because man at the beginning has never been created by God to carry sickness in his body it is outside of love it is nature because it is totally outside of God's nature and the nature of God was in man at the beginning and so we see right there from the beginning that the perfect will of God was for men to be healthy strong perfect in the likeness of God and you see sometime I joke about it but you cannot imagine God the Father you know it sometimes we imagine God as a older man with a big white beard because you know white hair is a sign of wisdom so somehow that's how I imagine God you know an old man young but yes with white hair and this is hair and his beard is just grow mean it's like light emanating from him but I have a hard time of imagining God in the inner in heaven going he get real help me come down from the throne I've got authorities' in my knees you would laugh at it you could not imagine God going no because it's not God isn't memories perfect and Men was created perfect you are you hearing what I'm saying and so right there from the beginning the book of Genesis we discover the perfect will of God and so in the next session we're gonna go from step step you know precept upon precept we'll go on a journey all through the Bible to discover that that same will that was a perfect will and the intended will of God for you and I that will has not changed and I know some of you I know what you're thinking but a lot about the Old Testament what about this and what about that well we're gonna address all of that amen we're gonna address all of that but right now I want to show you that the will of God at the beginning was for man to be healthy strong with that an inch or an iota of disease or sickness of deformity amen and God is so good so I want to invite you to in the next session together we're gonna about well where did sickness come from how did he get into the world and how come now the world is plagued with sickness to the point that there is a hospital a Medical Center on every street corner and I you cannot watch TV without being bombarded with somebody trying to sell you a pill or a treatment or such we are in a sick society how did we get there so we're gonna go on
