Disney Magic Cruise - Everything You Need to Know about this Disney Cruise Ship

hi everyone and welcome to cruise fall Disney Cruise Lines is currently celebrating their 25th silver anniversary and in honor of this special occasion we'll be taking a look back at their very first ship the Disney Magic so let's get started [Music] this luxurious vessel which launched in 1998 is the first ship in Disney Cruise Lines Fleet setting the bar high for family-friendly cruising with a blend of unique entertainment dining options and world-class facilities Disney Magic offers something for everyone let's dive in and explore the Wonders that await you aboard this exceptional cruise ship that started it all the Disney Magic along with their other ships was designed with families in mind unlike a lot of cruise ships whose staterooms typically fit four occupants many of DCL staterooms can accommodate those with larger families the ship boasts a total of 11 decks with a capacity to hold 2713 passengers and 945 crew members the state rooms are spacious and well appointed providing a comfortable home away from home for your vacation families can choose from a variety of room options including inside outside veranda and const level Suites inside staterooms come in at 184 square feet while the deluxe inside and ocean view rooms come in at 214 square feet with the ladder offering one to two porthole Windows both rooms can fit up to three to four Cruisers The Veranda State rooms are 268 square feet and come with a private balcony the family Deluxe Veranda are the first rooms that accommodate large families with Max occupancy of five people coming in at 304 square feet this room includes a queen bed sleeper sofa and upper bunk bed similar to the other state rooms but also includes an additional Murphy bed the family skate room also has a concierge option if you'd like a bit more service on your cruise the concierge Suites are the largest state rooms available and are accompanied with the concierge service the one bedroom suite is 614 square feet and has a separate bedroom for some separation the two bedroom Veranda Suite has two bedrooms as well as 2.5 bathrooms it is 945 square feet and can sleep up to seven people for those who want a bit more Disney Magic and feel like a princess you can book the royal suite at 1029 square feet this suite comes with two bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms a separate living room and dining salon for those partaking in concierge services you'll have additional amenities even before you board the ship you'll be able to make reservations up to 120 days prior to embarkation which include restaurant reservations Port excursions dining seat requests spa treatments Nursery stays celebrations and more on arrival day you'll have priority checking and boarding as well as on disemparkation day you'll also meet your concierge team at a private welcome lunch your team will help you with almost any needs you may have during your cruise as the concierge gas you'll also have exclusive access to private spaces Academy where you can be part of shield and wield a weapon of their favorite superhero and maybe see a few of them as well for teens 13 and up they can hang out at Vibe a teens exclusive space to spend time listen to music watch TV or play games Edge is another teen club where they can socialize play video games have dance parties and participate in themed activities we also can't forget the youngest Cruisers It's a Small World nursery are for six months to three years old where they'll be looked after and cared for by Disney expert counselors with three separate areas these Tykes will have a quiet space for naps an acclimation Zone to help them get adjusted to the new environment and a main play area filled with interactive Delights including games crafts stories and or movie time and much more after dropping off the kids at one of the many youth clubs adults can unwind at the adult's only quiet Cove pool or indulge in a rejuvenating treatment at the census spa and salon for nighttime fun visit the after hours District home to several bars and lounges including fathoms keys and ogil's Pub there you can partake in a variety of tastings from wine beer whiskey Martini tequila and Margarita and even a chocolate and alcohol pairing for fun for the whole family the Disney Magic is an aquatic Paradise featuring pools Splash zones and thrilling water slides the aqueduct
