[Music] this is a story about the realization of a dream life and its limits life and its [Music] glories I always dreamed of driving south to the limits of our continent to live and vibrate energy feel the difference in Culture the taste of air water driving to the chua would be a good and beautiful challenge I built a Mini Motor Home and a 2012 Fiorino to accomplish this feat in just one month I built a simple and practical house in the car with practically everything I needed from bed, electricity, stove and water It's getting cool, huh, a lot more plans, I started driving south, I crossed the entire south of Brazil to the most extreme point of the country, I went there, I crossed the border to Uruguay, crossing the entire coastline and visiting the country's wonderful beaches and then arriving in Buenos Aires the beautiful capital of Argentina After a few days in Buenos Aires it was time to continue the adventure to the incredible Patagonia Patagonia is a region that occupies a large part of Argentina and Chile and covers the southernmost part of South America, a sparsely inhabited region with thousands of species of animals and fantastic landscapes [Music] this trip will pass through incredible places First I will drive through the Argentine Pampas to the Andes Mountains where I continue down the route of Sete Lagos and route 40 and then cross the fascinating desert from Patagon Until arriving at the wonderful place where I climbed the incredible Fitro mountain then we continued the journey to El Calafat where we visited the Perito Moreno Glacier, one of the most incredible in the world, then we entered the chalet and visited Punta Arenas and then finally arrived at the end of the world [Music ] But that wasn't the end of the Adventure because on the way back we passed through the most beautiful mountains in Chile Torres [Music] Pain accompanies me on this Incredible Adventure, driving through one of the most fascinating places in the world, Patagonia [Music] and now leaving good luck AES I'm going to start a long route to Bahia Branca and that would be my destination for today But as I left very late today I don't know if I'll be able to get there before dark but the destination would be there for today let's see who You know, I can get there, but if anything, I'll sleep in some other city before it's a 7 hour trip and look here, 600 km in the middle of nowhere, I'm going practically straight south to Bahia Branca, there are some very small, very small towns [ Music] I'm actually passing through a small town called Las [Música] Flores [Música] man and this road is an eternal straight line, like in Uruguay, it has a curve or another from time to time but it's an infinite straight line, it gets tiring I'm passing by outside the little blue town, the city is called blue, and from here to Bahia Blanca, which is my mission today, I have 3 hours left and it's almost 5 o'clock [Music] afternoon [Music] h [ Music] [Music] [Music] I'm already 1 hour from Bahia Blanca and it's already 7:30 in the afternoon, that is, I'll be able to get to Bahia Blanca, I didn't imagine that I would [Music] make it [Music] C [Music ] [Applause] [Music] I'm already in Bahia Blanca, it's exactly 9 o'clock at night. It's getting dark now, right, and I 'm just going to look for a more deserted street to park and sleep. look for another one [Applause] there And that's where I slept last night, parked right here but it's almost 8 in the morning I woke up now I set the clock to wake up a little before 8 Because from 8 in the morning you can't park here. I have to pay and I'm going to find another place to park now so I can take a stroll around the city, right now to see it I just need to have some breakfast and take a look here in the main [Music] square I finally managed to put credit on my cell phone because It had been three days since I had internet but now I'm looking for something to eat and using the bathroom at the [Music] restaurant Here we are in the main square of Bahia Blanca it's a beautiful day As you can see, the sun is beautiful in the morning [Music] beautiful [ Music] [Applause] That's it, so let's continue the trip to [Music] Patagonia [Music] Oh, a motor home like that I'd be great, huh, but this one is better I'm running out of fuel and I checked on Google, the next one is in 85 km I'll have to get in in a small town here called [Música] mesquite ready fioreta with a full tank again and with clean glass too and man now to leave the town I have to do a stretch here from Areião pure Off Road right here but it's only 1 km from there I I already take the highway back to PR and head back to my [Music] direction [Music] and now I stopped here for a while and it's time to have a coffee and eat an empanada [Music] okay, today the mission is to get to Bahia Blanca Even neuk was showing 5 hours or so but now there's only 4 hours left and if I continue at this pace I'll get there around 5 in the afternoon and that's good for today so now the trip is no longer to the south for a few days, right Now our direction is towards the West , the reason is because I decided to take this other track that goes down further to the West because it is next to the Andes mountain range, right ? ] Andes, man, I'm in the middle of an eternal straight line. Yes, I looked on the map, man, it's an eternal straight line. 200 km straight, the heat isn't even worth mentioning . none of this is very flat [Music] k [Music] I'm now passing through Vila [Music] Regina I finally arrived, I'm very tired See here at this hostel call Art hostel I just woke up here at the hostel I've already had breakfast and I'm ready to continue The trip is another very hot day I have to hydrate myself very well I always fill my thermal bag with ice and water And I'm drinking a lot of water because there's no air conditioning one day Fioreta will have air conditioning I'm going to Martim do Los Andes and from here to San Martim do Los Andes it will be a 5 hour trip 450 km 430 km So today the trip will be a little calmer I won't make it to the end of the day [ Music] [Music] I'm here calibrating the tires because I haven't done that since I left Brazil checking the water again and everything is fine man I also bought more ice I'm ready now for these 400 km to the Andes, hey, actually I was looking here it's only 330 [Music] km [Music] I can already see I can see the mountains here, the barn of years far away on the [Music] horizon I'm arriving in the small town of zapala And this city is already there and from here you can see it clearly, the Andes are starting soon after I'm not very far away [Music] from it [Music] I had to stop for a bit man because this landscape is getting really beautiful the more we walk now me and the fioretta the more we come across this beautiful [Music] landscape [Music] help me see how do I eat [Music ] ] back me how do I eat [Music] back can we let just [Music] [Music] And look, it's not so hot anymore so the temperature has already dropped a lot and I think it's going to drop a lot more, see until I get closer da Cordilheira dos an [Music] And look, a Storm is starting and it looks like it's going to be one of those big [Music] I had to stop my car because it's raining like ice and everything I couldn't see anything, I'm going to take a break here and wait I was in the middle of a big storm now it's passing and it was a storm not only of rain but a lot of wind the fioretta was swaying it was swaying a lot [Music] my rain was behind me now only forward it's just blue sky and the barn of before Let's go without mentioning that now the fioreta is clean, right [Music] k [Music] I had to stop the car here because this landscape is [Music] Inc [Music] I was so engrossed in the landscape that I ended up walking about 2 km on the wrong road So I stopped here because there's a big river, what a beautiful place man, I'm glad I took the wrong path I found this [Music] place And now there's a bridge to cross but it's only 3 m wide so I I'm waiting for people to pass from there to here so I can [Music] pass [Music] I'm passing through the city called Junim de Los Andes well it's already 5 in the afternoon and I haven't had lunch I'm still starving and I'm walking here through the city of junim de Los Andes looking for something to [Music] eat I'm here now in the main square what a beautiful city, my cuisine [Music] [Laughter] [Music] cute that's so I already ate a sandwich at the cafeteria here in Junin de Los Andes and now I'm going to continue traveling another 40 km I arrive in S mar de And then I hope to find a campsite for me to stay there [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] I just entered a campsite here in San Martin de Los Andes is I'm already on the edge at the foot of the Andes and I'm paying for this campsite here 7000 pesos I've already taken a shower I'm enjoying the campsite The only problem with this campsite is here there's this avenue right there and it's very busy and there's there's a noise there , I hope it stops later, right? That car movement and we can only hear the Riacho because there's a Riacho right back here, saw the motor home back there, the guy turned a truck into the motor home, it's anything you can, you can become a motor home, right, and right here, away from everyone, the way I like it, it's already 7:30 pm 7:30 pm, right? I'm very tired, I think I'm going to sleep [Music] now [Music] Now I've been driving through Argentina for a few days towards Chua, passing through deserted valleys, everything is changing very quickly, it's been more than 5000 km to San Martim do Los Andes at the foot of the Andes [Music] I came here to this beautiful lake called Lake Lacar and it's the lake here in San Martim de Los Andes, very [Music] beautiful and you can take a boat trip across the lake there [Music] oh and let's continue the journey, there's a next destination that 's very beautiful and it's called Vila L Angostura it's only 2 hours to get there [Music] [Music] I arrived at a part here where you can see the Mountains very well and look how imposing they are, man you can already see the snow there [Music] at the top of the road that connects the city of São Martim do Losandes to Vir Lang Angostura is called Estrada dos Lagos because in the 110 km of its route it is possible to observe incomparable natural sceneries [Music] [Music] Dude, it's really cool because this region isn't beautiful just because There are many, there are many mountains, there are many Lakes, you know, and it's beautiful, this contrast between the blue of the Lake and the green of the [Music] mountains, and it's difficult to drive for a long time without stopping the car to contemplate these landscapes, see, I stopped here again because it's incredible this one has flowers everywhere Man they grow like this wild flowers more flowers and the fioretta is there in the middle of the [Music] Flowers I stopped now at the Mirador, another one of them, right, and the extraordinary view, this is another one of the lakes along the way dos Lagos here this Lake is called Mirror Lake depending on the time of day it reflects the mountains in the [Music] water I stopped at a place that has a little beach here a little beach on the Lake and there is also a snack bar here I'm going to take the opportunity to eat because I'm dying out of hunger [Music] I arrived in Vila la Angostura, another beautiful little village, you see, it's full of lakes, mountains and incredible villages [Music] here I already found a campsite here in Vila la Angostura, it cost me 16,000 pesos, it's a little more expensive, getting more expensive each time Every time I go down it's getting more expensive but it's a beautiful campsite, also very wooded and the fioretta is there [Music] Good morning I slept very well that night simply because it's getting cold now, right? I'm close, right, at the foot of the barn and it's cold here at night, especially in the early morning, the [Music] skeleton is freezing, so I had to use a sleeping bag and another blanket because it was so [Music] cold and on the road again, I'm leaving this little town and I'm going now, the next destination is baroch San Carlos de baril and I didn't even walk in 10 minutes and I already had to stop the car again because this landscape is incredible, take a look [Music] and Body It's only 1 hour away, tell me where I am So it's going to be another very short day on the road [Music] [Music] I finally found a place to park fioreta here in baril, guys I think the fioreta is causing a problem with the fuel pump I found out This is because the smell of gasoline was very strong while I was driving. I opened the fuel pump here and you can see, it's wet here, the fuel hose is leaking. I think the treadmill that isn't too tight seems to be a simple thing, but I'm not going to risk moving it, I'm going to take it to the mechanic, take advantage of the fact that I'm here in a bar, which is a big city, I stopped here at Mechanical Siglo 21, they're going to start changing the hose and clamp, which are perhaps cracked or punctured, the mechanic will changed the clamp, put on a new one, but it's still leaking, but it's not and we discovered that the problem is right here, this white piece here is cracked, so the solution we now find is to put hard epox on it because otherwise we would have to change the entire pump system fuel pump, it's a workaround but let's see if it will work, the workaround didn't work, it's still leaking, I'm going to another place now that sells the entire fuel pump Unfortunately, I 'm going to have to buy the entire piece, look what I only found the top cover I didn't need to buy the entire fuel pump and it cost me 16,000 pesos I managed to buy the part as you saw but when I went back to the mechanic he said it's already closing and it's already 5 pm and tomorrow at 9 I'll go back there so he can change it back here at the mechanic, it's already in the morning and he's already tinkering here and changing the part, right? And unfortunately he 's going to have to remove the entire fuel pump to change the cap. gasoline but the cap that I bought yesterday, now we went to put it there and saw that it wasn't the same and so I'm going there to change the part, right ? of pressure and the one he had sold yesterday doesn't have a pressure regulator Ready it's fixed very well and cost 80,000 pesos dude that's it the fioreta is ready now to get to usua now that the fioreta is repaired I'm going to go for a walk in baril lo This city is so surrounded by mountains that practically everywhere you look you see the mountains and they are beautiful because they have snow on top and it gives that highlight, right, during the day it's beautiful [Music] I realize that this is a city with a geography very peculiar because there are a lot of ups and downs going down a hill here now huge from here you can see the lake up front and baroch is not such a small city but it's not that big either it has 130,000 inhabitants I think this gives it a charm a city that isn't a city like that that has as many problems as a big city , right ? or a church I'm going there [Music] to see Look at the location of this park, man, on the edge of a beautiful lake and with the mountains on the horizon [Music] [Music]
I'm here walking along the edge of the lake, it's a wonderful structure that this city has, it's incredible, it's a very touristy city has a lot to offer, right? There are many trails around [Music] here [Music] I have now arrived at the Civic Center of Baril they have created a very rustic architecture of [Music] mountains and there is the museum museum of de la Patagonia and next to the museum is the library there the tourism department all the municipal bodies around this very interesting square a rustic architecture I [Music] would say And look how cool there is a crafts fair going on right in one of the streets [Music] here [Music] Look, walking like that out of nowhere I found the [Music] chocolate museum, of course I had to buy some dulce de leche [Music] right [Music] [Applause] [Music] this beautiful landscape which you can see there it is the result of a great Glacial action the first action in Patagonia happened 1 million years ago and the last happened 13,000 years these glaciers they behave like rivers of ice they descend through the mountains flowing into the valleys in this case here the glaciation ended up forming this Great [Music] [Music] Lake [Music] And for a change I found another beautiful park and this one to enjoy the sunset doesn't have a view of the lake, right, but of the mountains, a good landscape. I want to take advantage of this beautiful landscape to ask for your help. If you like the channel and aren't subscribed yet, please subscribe there, leave your like, it's a simple act but it means a lot to me and now that the fioreta is fixed, right? I think that tomorrow I'm going to continue the trip so this is my last day here in barilog In reality, I don't even know where I'm going to sleep tonight, that's good having Fiorita gives me freedom Oh I don't know Maybe today I'm going to sleep in a hostel Maybe I 'm going to sleep in a campsite or simply where she's parked I'm going to sleep in the fioretta she comes not to try to save money as the main reason but to give me the freedom, right, freedom to be able to go whenever I want, sleep wherever I want, it also comes with reason and sometimes I have the opportunity to save money on accommodation, I decided to continue the trip and I saw that there is a very beautiful forest Leaving the bar I'm going to see, maybe I'll go to somewhere there or a campsite that has several there too on the way out of the city [Laughter] [Music] he Look what a beautiful place I'm already driving half an hour away from the bar and I had to stop here, look, look And look, it's already 9:23 and it's still daytime now, just now that it's getting dark [Music] I really think I found a place to park for tonight, here it's on the side of the road, the bad side, right? but I'm going to stay here tonight [Music] imagine tomorrow morning how it's going, it 's very calm here, of course with this beautiful landscape, also pure nature, it's calm until a car passes by and ends the calm, right, but I believe that later this movement by car it will stop [Music] wow better than anything Hotel [Music] see oh what a wonderful world I slept so well at 9:30 in the morning I woke up I woke up at 9, right incredible I slept a lot and what we have for breakfast is bread two eggs and cheese is [Music] great [Music] k [Music] k [Music] it's difficult to drive here on this road without stopping because it's really good to contemplate this nature, it's incredible, it's beautiful, I keep stopping all the time, it's going to take a long time, see to get there [Music] u [Music] k [Music] w [Music] [Music]
k So this road that I'm traveling here is the famous route 40 It's super touristy because it passes through several national parks and has this logic this incredible landscape and it runs parallel to the entire Andes of Argentina and it is more than 5000 km long so it will be my companion there for several [Music] days [Music] and now I'm passing through A little town called [Music] Bolson [Music] [Music] [Music] C [Music] [Music] [Music] [
Music] a [Music] [Music] I keep traveling all the time I notice a lot of the geographical changes Patagonia is a place very isolated from the rest of the world world a surprising nature is now beginning to pass through a very arid region of route 40 and these changes are [Music] [Music] fascinating [Music] and look here I thought time was closing in, right because there's a snow up ahead but then I started to smell smoke I think there's something burning here [Music] [Music] I stopped here to give a ride to a guy, let's see who's giving a ride here to him and he's from Chile He's doing route 40 too until o [Music] [Music] caramente S unaa RIC Lao Pero con per [Music] compl [Music] vi per S neutro un poooo Frances [Music] this area here is very arid and has little vegetation but it is already 8 pm and I'm going to have to sleep here, I stopped the fioretta and Chen is going to pitch his tent here, he's going to stay here I'm also going to make a rango now I'm going to make a pasta with tomato onion and [Music] soy meat I had to put this protection here as I normally put it on the glass
[Música] on the side because there's a lot of wind Then it protects it, otherwise it would wear out Lots of gas, this thing is getting good, huh, look at soy meat [Music] and to end the day we're going to have this beautiful sky show, look at some wonderful colors [Music] the other night I slept very well now it's 8:30 in the morning today it's a little colder than yesterday I feel like my sleeping bag is at its limit, if it gets a little colder than that it won't work anymore, in other words I really have to buy a good blouse for when it gets really cold I sleep with the blouse and sleeping bag [Applause] [Music] and here I am already a part of Argentina, leaving that mountain area, right ? to the south, but just a little further away from the Andes Mountains, so that's why this geography stayed like this, now it's back to being very plain and it's very low vegetation and I'll tell you that in the next two days it's going to be like this all the way So now, then down there, it will be close to the cordeira dos [Música] Anes [Música] this part of route 40 is very damaged, there are a lot of potholes, I think it's been like this for about 30 km, I think it will continue for at least 80 km, still, and it's so interesting, there's a parallel road, a parallel dirt road and people prefer to go there because there are so many holes on the [Music] [Applause] road [Music] [Applause] [ Music] we are arriving in a small town called Perito Moreno after many hours without any kind of civilization, nothing, no gas station, no restaurant, nothing, only now, after I think we have been driving for almost 4 hours, I think it's almost 3 hours. [Music] afternoon [Music] and now we've entered a national park Patagonia Park And then inside this park 4 km along this road here inside the park there will be a campsite and that's where we'll stay today, correcting, it's not a national park It's a private park [Applause] [Music] [Music]
[Music] Oh, today dinner will be rice with peppers and canned beans and that's what today's dinner will be like. The sea is really good, right, and the reason for this camping having these fenced places here for us to camp inside is because there is a lot of wind and the wind is definitely an enemy for the person who camps, right ? good Here we are paying for this space here 12,000 pesos or 6000 each [Music] It's interesting how we have this relationship with Por do Sol, right, how something like this makes us so [Music] [Music] well [Music] un [Music] [Music] we return to the Main Road which is route 40 and now we will continue [Music] journey [Music] k [Music] and we can now see the Andes Mountains again no more desert no more plains We'll be back soon mountains because you can already see the [Music] Cordillera [Music] I'm going through a very bad route here full of holes the track is horrible, one pot bigger than the other and often it's even without asphalt for a few meters and the asphalt full of holes comes back then back to Off Road by [Música] new [Música] we are finally arriving in Governador Gregório which is where there is the gas station [Música] here and at 6 in the afternoon And we stopped here in this beautiful Gramado where there are already others motor homes here , right ? fried Everything in order, I'm here separating my dirty clothes, all of this here to take to the laundry today, leave the fioreta there and take advantage of a walk about five blocks here into the city because the campsite is kind of on the way out of the city, right, and on the edge of a beautiful stream, it's also very friendly, bye, and today some pasta here, with mushrooms and peppers, another day of Fiorita bartolomea gambiarras and [Music] gambiarras good morning good morning from the outside it looks like this and today the mission is to get to el shalen and there they consider it to be a very good place to do several trails so it will be a few days there and it takes around 4 hours to get there I will have to leave route 40 for more or less 60 km But the biggest problem is that from here to there there will be a stretch that is 70 km without asphalt and they say that the stretch is really ugly [Music] [Applause] [Music] see, the good road is just over now This boulder here is what's going to happen now for 70 [Music] km and now we've reached a point where you can see this beautiful lake called Lake Cardel and its color is impressive my Blue is so very clear I'm having it here very slowly I but I'm going between 30 and 40 km per hour just to avoid harming the fioreta, because this terrain here is very difficult, there are some very big rocks [Music] we stopped here in the middle of nowhere and we stopped here because we're going to cook now a pasta with tuna [Music] lunch today pasta [Music] ready and now we're already driving a few kilometers already and always this Lago do [Music] side [Music] k [Music] k [Music] finally It's over, it's over [Music] boulder [Music] [Music] we arrived in a little town called Três Lagos [Music] and you can already see the Andes barn in front of us [Music] again and now this road that we took here we left the route 40 now we took road 23 which goes to this road here it will be I think it's about 60 km [Music] [Music] and this beautiful lake is called Lago vied Man And right after it you can see the Andes mountain [ Music] [Music] imposing Now things are getting serious and the mountains are getting even bigger you can see snow on the tops so beautiful it's getting better and better and of course It's getting colder and colder the closer we get to it the colder [Music] stay [Music] oh [Music] [Music] That's it we're back in the Anes Mountains and what a reunion [Music] huh [Music] Us [Music] [Music] this trip to the end of the world is me showing surprising places and now we've reached the beautiful el at the foot of the Cordillera dos [Música] before we found this parking lot here where there are several motor homes and we're going to stay here tonight so there's already a sticker on the [Música] fioreta the day hasn't dawned so sunny like this today, right, it's kind of raining and very cold here, you know, and Shen is still sleeping [Music], right, it's been a while since I saw a complete rainbow like this, you know, it's incredible, a [Music] cup of coffee, now we're going here at city bus station to use the bathroom but we go to fioreta because it's kind of [Music] raining Look, I wasn't really in the mood to go hiking today because of the rain, it's raining a little in PR but it stopped and we're going to drive until a place where a small [Music] trail begins [Music] we are walking along this beautiful path here, right, and parallel to it there is a vtas river and it is such a clear but very clear blue and It's glacial waters, right [Music] [Music] [Music] AM [Music] we stopped here next to a beautiful beautiful waterfall and had our [Music] lunch and one of those dirt roads full of holes I ended up losing the lock on the fioretta it was already kind of broken letting go and now to open the back door only from the inside so you have to do a lot of contortion so every time you have to open the back door and through the front door go backwards and [Music] open [Music] and here at the end From this road there is the trail that goes to Glacial but unfortunately the rain has increased and we are not going to do the trail now, at least not today with this rain, okay? [Music] difficult 7:30 in the morning now and it's still doing 9 [Music] gra was about to start the trail and the rain got thicker it's raining a lot but tomorrow according to the weather forecast it won't rain and shan went to do the trail anyway like this because he has clothes, right? Ready Are you ready for this? He's even going to camp there tonight [Music] tonight I'm here making a tortilla with cheese and look at the tarp I brought, I'm finally using it because this environment here where I cook food is Outside of Fiorina, I just took a shower here in the water system, but I'm going to F Cold Water, huh, this is the river right behind the motor home parking lot I'm staying in. It's incredible in the parking lot, there's already a surreal landscape, I don't think so. I'm buying water, I'm drinking water from the tap, I just cross this road here in front of Gamento, there's the park here which has some trails and here's a tap, I always fill this 8 liter bottle here and then I have water for the day at [ Music] at 5:45 in the morning making a cup of coffee to wake up to the cold day [Music] huh I arrived at the parking lot of the fitzroy trail this is a beautiful trail, super important here I think it's more famous and it's more difficult too so let's go that's it let's start our trail to fitzroy mountain [Music] and the trail started exactly at 6:30 in the morning [Music] [Music] [Music] seen it's breathtaking man left me like that for a few seconds in the [Music] the sky and it's already getting warmer, it's getting more and more beautiful For the colors in the sky and this geography, the daylight is beautiful, it was worth waiting [Music] [Music] What an impressive view this Vale Paraíso this place and only now that the sun had just passed through the mountains gave the air of grace and It's almost 7:30 in the morning [Music] [Music] ours it's still 8:15 in the morning and we've already passed through so many beautiful landscapes every moment views and mountains cliffs forests and it changes a lot, you know, suddenly you're in a closed forest, suddenly you have all the mountains in the [Music] [Music] vision [Music] And we arrived at this beautiful [Music] Laguna [Music] you can see the top of that mountain there in the front that has a large Glacier all frozen a giant wall of ice my incredible and the trail is to be congratulated because it is well signposted There are signs everywhere telling directions after seeing this Great Lake now I'm heading towards Laguna de Los [Music ] three [Music] interesting that the highest peak of the mountain is still covered by clouds there is a dense layer of cloud there in [Music] [Applause] [Music] up [Music] And now you can see the glacier back there much better see that a waterfall [Music] comes out of it and now finally the clouds have opened a little bit so I can see the top of the highest peak of the mountains [Music] [Music] here [Music] now the clouds have cleared well and you can completely see these beautiful [Music] mountains I was able to see the peaks of the mountains so it's a Divine gift because normally the mountains carry a lot of clouds, right, it's normal that you can't see the tops of the mountains and now this incredible gift [Music] I passed a sign there that said that now from here to Laguna do Los TR there is only 1 hour left but that one hour is going to be extremely difficult, it is the worst part of the journey and it is still 10:15 in the [Music] morning, it is really very difficult now, see because it is pure [Music] climb I'm almost at the top I can see from here that the end of this mountain is close but I don't know if it's the end of the trail yet , right [Music] [Music] [Music] It's 11:15 in the morning I've arrived At this point here you can incredibly see the Peaks but the trail isn't over yet there's still one more drop here then another climb to the [Music] Laguna and it got cold again as you can see I had to put my shirts back on, okay? very cold [Music] now [Music] I arrived at the long-awaited place and it's exactly 11:30 in the morning [Music] Trying to get out of that crowd of tourists is a a very difficult place to get to but many people manage to get there, right [Music] I'm already going down It's been an hour and it's already 1pm, I think it took 5 hours to go up and now to go down it will definitely be faster, right, it's half the time a little bit more than half, right, well, I would say that the trail itself is not difficult, it's just that final stretch, that final hour, which is very challenging, but the rest of the trail itself isn't much, there isn't much difference in level and the incredible mountain of Fitzroy is becoming back unfortunately What a beautiful thing, my God, I really want to leave, I want to stay there. It's already 3:15 in the afternoon and I haven't gotten back yet, but I think there's just a little bit to go. I finally got back to the parking lot here at the entrance. from the park and fet are already waiting there leaving El now and we are continuing our journey now to el calafat I already know that there is an incredible Glacier there So let's go [Music] there [Music] [Music] then from al to calafat is not a long distance is only 180 km so we decided to leave there it was almost 7 pm and in a little while we will be arriving in [Music] well as you can see I've been at the mechanic for about a week or so that I've been hearing a noise on the left rear wheel like NH and I think it's the bearing And then I took advantage of the fact that I'm in El Calafat and here I took it to the mechanic who helped me very well [Music] I've also been to the mechanic in the place at a store I bought the part and I'm having difficulty removing the old bearing and now It's logical It's already lunch time and he closed the mechanics and the fioretta stayed there and it's only at 3 in the afternoon that it opens again, it's almost 3 in the afternoon, I'm already going back to mechanics it's a half hour walk I found this beautiful park here on the way it's good that here in the park there isn't that much wind, wow it's a lot of wind in these parts [Music] here so everything stayed there at around 145000 p look how wonderful man no there's no noise in the wheel the fioretta is [Music] floating leaving here from El Calafate because we're going to a very beautiful place which is the Perito Moreno Glacier a super touristic place let's go the most incredible things in the [Music] world [Music] J this Perito Moreno Glacier, it's not very far from here in Calafato, it 's only an hour or so away and this road here that we're going there is just for going there, you know, so there are a hundred and few who are a road that it is made just to get to this Glacier then we will have to go back through [Music] her [Music] AM [Music] and we just paid 12,000 pesos each to enter the park because the Perito Moreno Glacier is located within a [Music] park And look, we haven't even arrived at the Glacier yet and the landscapes are breathtaking, man, it's impressive, these mountains are very [Music] imposing [Music] and the Glacier in the background you can already see, there are only a few kilometers to go We'll get to it so let's continue the journey, it's not long before the Glacier, man, for me it's a thrill, you know, because I've never seen a Glacier like this in my life so close, nor an [Music] iceberg, we stopped here at the Mirador, sighs, and the name already tells you when if you get here and say wow, this is really impressive, take a look [Music] [Music] k [Music] [Music]
[Music] h [Music] We arrived here where we start the trail to the Glacier and the trail It's short, it's about an hour [Music] [Applause] [Music]
This Glacier is incredible because it has an extraordinary height, it's simply 60 m high man, it's more or less PR so you can get an idea of a building of 25 floors man it's really very tall and its size is more than we [Music] imagine Actually I was wrong it's not really a trail right This metal catwalk they built here for just a few minutes isn't even an hour No, I don't think it's even half an hour and look how interesting we just heard a big bang like it was a bomb and it was simply a piece of the glacier that fell unfortunately I couldn't [Music] film the Perito Glacier Moreno, it extends from the Southern Patagonian Ice Field on the border between Argentina and Chile to the southern arm of Lake Argentino. It is 5 km wide and 60 m high and is considered one of the most important freshwater reserves in the world. [Music] [Music] C [Music] and it gives rise huh And this walkway goes parallel to the ice wall [Music] here [Music] another piece just fell [Music] there and this bigger part of the glacier than us you see now it reaches approximately 70 m higher [Music] still [Music] [Applause] [Music] all [Music] [Music] and now we are reaching a part where the glaciers are lower but from what I I see there in front there is a big cave made of ice man [Music] incredible [Music] there was a sign there saying that 32 people died many more Decades ago with ice fragments because when these huge pieces of ice break off from the big glaciers they small pieces of ice splash like this many, many meters away so before all this the infrastructure was formed here very far from people came very close and many people died because it was [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music]
or [Music] it's really beautiful to see these icebergs see these glaciers also thank you nature for still allowing us to see a certain glacier [Music] Ceral [Music] my trip through Patagonia has been wonderful passing through stunning landscapes towards the end of the world the Terra del Foo archipelago another beautiful day on the road and thank you all so much for being with me traveling here on this beautiful trip me and my friend shan who one day was hitchhiking and is still traveling with me for over a week now We left El Calafat and we are heading towards the Chilean Border. Of course, I'm not leaving to go to Uaia. There are two paths to Uaia through Chile. from El Calafat to a town from there we're going to cross the border into Chile, right, but it's already like 7 or 8 in the afternoon . and as you can see now another Desert is going to start again, right another Another giant area that has nothing unfortunately those beautiful forests and mountains They are going to end at least for a while [Music] unfortunately this route that we took here there will be a part like this without asphalt and it will be 70 [Music] km [Music]
[Music] this road is very difficult, like I have to walk 30 km/h sometimes 20 km/h to avoid hurting the fioreta, right? I'm sure I regret coming this way, you know, but I'm already on the way, I'm going to have to go here until the end, it's already like 9 o'clock, it's getting dark, I think I should already, we've already walked about 35 km but come on, let's [Music] continue [ Music] it's already midnight and we finally arrived on the asphalt man wow it was the worst 70 km of my life it took us more than 3 hours man but everything was fine we found a gas station I parked here and Shen pitched his tent there at the front it was almost 1:30 in the morning when we arrived here super tired, the gas was almost running out and the fioreta guerreira, I passed these 70 km from S Pedregulho, incredible foot, this [Music] car plus a friend on the road makes me want to take it all of them with me and now for breakfast bread bread with [Music] egg we are entering a small town here called Rio tbio and it is almost on the border with Chile and now we are leaving Rio tbio we spent the day here because we had to resolve several things before crossing the border and one of them is the mandatory insurance in Chile, right, I did it online quickly, I paid online and it was smooth and we stopped here right before the Argentinian immigration and we're going to have dinner there sh pasta with meat decoli aho bueníssimo [Music] We've already gone through Argentine customs, we've already shown documents, car documents, everything, and now we're going to drive a few more kilometers to Duana do [Music] Chile and we're already in Chile. That's it, we've already gone through emigration from Chile, everything went fine, it was a very simple and quickly because here is a border that is not very popular , right? Torres der Pine on the way back because right now it's bad weather and it's forecast to rain in the next C days so we'll leave it here on the way back, of course before leaving Argentina I filled up the fioreta tank because here in Chile Gasoline is almost twice as much, even though it's very expensive here, I haven't seen how much it is, but I already know it's much more expensive. Good morning everyone, a beautiful day here in Chile, we crossed the border last night, right, and drove more or less about 150 km towards Punta Arenas but then I started to get tired when it was around 11:30 at night I parked here, it's a parking lot on the side of the road and here we slept and now it's 8 in the morning and we're going to continue the journey, all we have to do is 100 km to [Music] puntarenas [Music] We arrived in Punta Arenas And today is clothes day to take advantage of the fact that we are here in Penas, which is a slightly bigger city We found a place to wash clothes [Music] good now that we left our clothes to wash up, let's take a walk here in Punta Arenas and get to know the city And here we are in the historic center of Punta Arenas, it's freezing, here in the middle of the historic center we have this beautiful little square and now we're going to keep walking towards the famous Strait of Magellan which is right in front of the city here in Puntarenas, so the Strait of Magellan is very important, it was the only passage between the Atlantic and the Pacific before the Panama Canal, the name of the Strait of Magellan comes from the navigator Fernão de Magalhães and he stood out for having led the first ciron navigation trip to the Globe from 1519 until [Music] [Applause] [Music]
1522 so you can get an idea of how cold it is now it's 9 [Music] G [ Applause]
[Music] and here on the plaque it says that he not only discovered the Strait of Magellan but also discovered Chile and I already bought a cell phone chip here in Chile that I no longer had internet for, right? I went from Argentina to here and paid 4000 Chilean pesos and the Chilean peso is the same as the Argentine peso so it's much easier to know how much you're spending [Music] now we stopped to eat here at a place that's like a hot dog where I ordered the vegan sausage and it's traditional here in Chile according to Shen He said that from south to north Chile this type Sand Hot Tom palta norm mayonesa un Plato typical Chilean callejero u si la gente r cm already SH ordered the 15 this sandwich cost 9 then oh washed clothes now we can continue the [Music] journey [Music] [Applause] we are already heading towards the archipelago Terra [Music] f We arrived here at a place that has a BT ferry to cross to the terra de al fego archipelago and after the fbt already we are very close to uaia but it is already 8 o'clock almost dusk, it will be dark soon and I decided to stay here tonight the iron and bolts are right here, it is 1 km away, I just found a grassy area here to park and spend the night here [Music ] even in the cave I thought that I was going to fall in love Jam wants to know nothing bad ever for the easterly road that we are already continuing our journey here this last 1 km until we reach the boat that will take us to the Terra del F archipelago Then it will be the last step to the chuai amor teup [Music] [Music] [Music] the crossing is very short, it was about 15 minutes and the cost of this boat here was 19 Chilean P [Music] [Music] for [Music] amup we stopped in a small town here very small called Cerro sombreiro we found this place here which is public and they offer bathrooms and showers to take a bath, that is, I just took a warm shower [Music] [Music] Ready, everything is done here in Duana, Chile, we are already praying to cross the border again to Argentina, my, it's very windy here, my, it almost takes the fioretta away, although the wind and now we're going to have to drive 8 km to Duana da [Música] Argentina [Música] ready back in Argentina and this time they won't even lose the Green card oh and the mandatory insurance in Chile also when I entered Chile they asked like me I filled the tank in the fioreta before leaving Argentina, I didn't even need to fill up in Chile. So it was great to have filled it up there before leaving, I used all the territory that was needed in Chile without needing to fill up, I stopped to fill up before continuing the trip and believe me, the gasoline it's 598 pesos per liter this was the cheapest I've ever found so far fioretta with a full tank left [Music] chua [Music] yesterday when it was around 8 I decided to stop to rest and we slept right here on the side of the highway we found this space here because I didn't want to arrive awaited end tired so I decided to sleep here PR today arriving in uai uai is not only the final destination but it is also the end of the world a place that is considered the end of the world simply because from there there is no way to go anywhere else place in South America is the [Music] end [Music] AM [Music] k [Music] this is a journey to the end of the world the southernmost city on the entire [Music] planet there were more than 7000 km of landscapes [Music] unbelievable we stopped here at the PR gas station to fill our water water system full we continue our journey uaia today we arrive [Music] huh [Music] h [Music] Every time we get closer to chuaa it gets more and more beautiful, incredible guy, I thought it would continue in that arid way, but no, even though this is the southernmost place in the world, it's still beautiful [Music] and there's only 50 km to go, let's go [Music] there we arrived at a part here that gives to see a large part of the lake as we are further up now. The road brought us to the top of this hill and you can see the immensity of the lake and how beautiful it is, see and look, there are a lot of trees around it [Music] one more wonderful place, it's a beautiful valley, incredible man, a valley surrounded by mountains and beautiful [Music] flowers, you just have to be careful with these thorns here, they're really [Music] sticky [Music] I arrived at the end of the world, man, I can't believe it after so many roads mountains desert Pampa we are here in chua it is with a lot of emotion and also with a lot of thanks to everyone for accompanying us there until the end of the world man me the fioreta and all of you arrived [Music] felices [Music] we stopped right on the edge of this beautiful little beach and we're going to have our lunch here because the view is wonderful, nothing like eating with a View [Music] Beautiful [Music] h [Music] k [Music] finally uaia after many kilometers and we arrived today but the weather is so beautiful, such a beautiful sun, blue sky, you have to take advantage of it because here this climate is a bit [Music] Rare and at first we arrive here at Las Malvinas square, which has a large war memorial, historical photos around the square, well [Music] cool [Music] this is the main street of the city, it's the financial center where all the shops, restaurants are, it's a small city, as you can see, the port is full of ships, full of cruises, this is a place of a stop for many cruises, right? And cruises to Antarctica are also made here, so these This city here is going to be full of tourists this weekend and to get here I drove for about a month, man, of course I could have done a lot less because I stayed several days in different places but just to get an idea of the distance and when I left home the fieta was clocking 58,000 km and now it's clocking 66,000 man so it was 8000 km to get here but remembering that I took paths that aren't the shortest, right? so if you put it on Google it will say much less than that first night here at the end of the world and I slept a lot [Music] well and today it started the day with alone, cool, go drive to the Terra do Fogo national park trail, let's do it Look at the good dog, okay, the Brazilian people are parked here [Music] nearby [Music] Hold to the Hand of self [Music] Destruction I' m [Music] back [Music] long [Music] we reached the end of the end here where I parked is the furthest you can go in South America and the furthest you can go in the south of the world, this park here is simply even more south than the chuai, so it's really the most you can drive in South America and here the fioreta completed a super mission. Congratulations and now we continue along the trail because you can still go further south by walking So let's go there this place here deserves my sticker [Music] right [Music] and the entrance to the park was 12,000 pesos and this entry is valid for two days you can come today you can go [Music] tomorrow [Music] what a paradise this place is my dear beautiful very short trails but this nature with this little sun is [Music] [Applause] perfect [Music] k [Music] and now We arrived at the huge Roca Lake which is also part of the [Music] park and now I started to hear a noise strange on the engine belt [Music
] [Music] and now to end the day by taking a walk here in front of the sea here in uaia where there are the ships that brought many tourists the city is [Music] [Music]
full [ Music] and today we took the fioreta we came here, this is where the Laguna Esmeralda trail begins, it promises to be a beautiful place and today it's sunny up here [Music] and we ate here the Laguna Esmeralda trail and there on the sign it says which is 4 hours and back around 10 km and the beginning of the trail is already spectacular, right This [Music] Forest there, this is a typical area that has Beavers, you can see why they dam up all that amount of water [ Music] there, look at this incredible Valley that has here my impressive but the tria No continues here, I left it a little to be able to see this [Music] Valley And look what a beautiful place that emua PR if you get to know it, you saw even though the Laguna is not be beautiful this path here is already making up for a beautiful Forest I went through a big climb there for about 15 minutes going up now came the plain of [Music] new that space between the mountains that I think is [Music] [Applause] AG [Music] all [Music] [Applause] [Music] I arrived [Music] [Applause] finally and this is Laguna Esmeralda beautiful place to visit here very close to [Music] chua and now T going around the lake gives to at least get to the other side [Music] the color of this lake I don't have words to describe this color such a clear blue that it's impressive, it's so good to look at it [Music] too and there it says if I continue this trail but I think In a couple of hours, who knows, I'll arrive at Glacial Glacial [Music] Arino and now I see a lot less people here on the trail, from what I can tell, most people stay there at the Laguna. It goes all the way to the Laguna, right, but others continue to the [Música] ] Glacial, look at this tree, man, it fell for some reason, maybe it was the wind, I think, it must already be there at the top of the mountain, we started together but it keeps flying, right ? I got to a part here where you can no longer see where the trail is going, the trail has kind of disappeared, you can't tell if it's going in the right direction or not [Music] it's getting more and more difficult, see now it's pretty steep already there's a good [Music] attitude [Music] it's very high man here you can see almost all the mountains around [Music] It 's almost 4 in the afternoon and look I feel like it's almost over I'm very high already Look [ Music] this I arrived at, I can't believe it, it's really beautiful, it's a lot of ice [Music] and the way back is also beautiful, right, it's still beautiful, even though it's the same place, we end up seeing the landscape from another angle, the angle of the way back, most of the way It's going to be [Music] all that snow up there is about to collapse and there's a lot of snow see and now on the way back to the Laguna it's different because the sun is hitting it from another angle now I think all its angles are beautiful [Music] right I'm already back at Laguna Esmeralda So that means I'm almost at the end I think one more little hour going down [Music] I'm going to continue the trip back that's it but the trip back promises to be even better simply because on the way back I'm going to pass through one of the most incredible places in Patagonia which is Torres delpine I believe that the shuai is not the end but in the middle because the return is another [Music] challenge it's 10 at night we just passed here through the emigration from Argentina leaving for the [Music] country and we are in Chile now that's it last night we crossed the border to Chile and right after crossing the border I don't think we walked even 10 km I stopped here in the middle of the Chilean Pampas [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] and this iron Bolt here it's very short it's at most 15 or 20 minutes and we are leaving Terra del Fego this iron B means that we are leaving behind the archipelago [Music] terraf We arrived in Puerto [Music] Natales I'm here walking through the small town of Puerto Natales and it seems to me to be a very small editable city This The city here has only 20,000 inhabitants, very small but it is an important city because it is the closest city to the Torres delpine National Park, it is the closest but it is still 150 km from there and here we are in the main square of Porto Natales killing some time here now that in a little while I think we'll be on the road to the National Park PR, I'll be there early tomorrow morning waking up in the national park I just got gas here in Porto Natales and man what a stab that's Gina here in Chile I paid 1370 pesos at the liter, that is, it is more than twice as much as in Argentina and now we are already driving to Torres da Pine National Park, it is only 150 km more or less from here, 100 km more or less and but Ló is already closed, we are buying online morning and we'll probably sleep on the way somewhere on the way to [Music] park [Music] today is the day let's keep driving here until the park entrance we couldn't buy online yesterday there was a bug on the website Let's try to buy it at the entrance [Music] [Music] We arrived here at the Park parking lot, we already turned off the entrance and we're ready to start, well we entered the park but now we still have to drive, I think another 50 km still inside the park but man look at this view [Music] my [Music] [Music] h [Music] h [Music] we stopped here halfway at a [Music] Mirador and behind the nearest mountains the towers of [Music] begin to appear ] Pain man we've been driving for a long time and we can't get to where the trail starts for a long time we've been walking here we've been driving and the road is really bad, meaning there's no way to drive very fast like we thought it was 50 km to where it starts the trail but we've been driving for almost 2 hours [Music] we start the trail finally it's noon man we're starting really late but that's ok better late than never we're here Torres del del National Park [Music] Pine the total for the trail is 7 km but it's 7 km very difficult so I think I've already walked 2 km alone and the total trail usually takes people around 5 hours to go up and another 2 hours to go down [Music] [ Music] m [Music ] I've been walking for about 2 hours, the trail is very windy, the trail is difficult, but what gives me more strength to continue is that the Pine Tower has always been my dream, I'm simply fulfilling a dream of being in this place, this trail will go finish at the base of the [Music] [Music] [Music]
mountain [Music] the end is very difficult man pure climb I've been on this climb for an hour now [Music] [Music] here [Music] [ Music] [Music] Wow Incredible, my God, it was worth all the sacrifice Look [Music] this [Music] another incredible achievement Torres delpine was always my dream est Here they were many of the photos and films and documentaries that I watched about this place were always in my dream and now I'm here I can't believe it, look what a wonderful place [Music] [Music] and the 3-hour trail took me but I did it kind of quickly because I was thinking that I wouldn't be able to get there in time and now, of course, the return trip will be quicker and well, because I'm very tired, it was so difficult for me, but that's for each person, right? This difficulty depends on each one [Music] coming back now We've been downloading it for an hour now and it's incredible I just have to say it was beautiful I made another dream come true T very happy and [Music] tired [Music] it was a month of travel driving through Uruguay Argentina and Chile Patagonia brought me landscapes wonderful days and days driving through an unforgettable nature [Music] from all the places I traveled in the world, special Patagonia will always be kept in my heart all these memories because I learned a lot in these two months I learned that traveling by car over long distances can bring some mechanical problems that will sometimes hinder the trip but I also realized that the car can give incredible freedom that is worth much more than any mechanic charged, I also learned about my limits, this gives me a lot of strength and courage, I learned that solitude and a trip can bring us a lot of peace and wisdom but I also learned that despite learning from loneliness the best learning is through friendships and people we meet on the path of life and travel I learned to value the little moments in life even if they are just bad you and no one else will build your path the dreams are already within you and only you will know how to bring them to life I arrived man I can't believe it I'm in my city already a few meters from home it seems like it's a dream that I'm here now 9 :30 at night and I just parked in front of the house I'm dying to see Pit's reaction to my dog two months without seeing her let's see hey hey don't you recognize me hi hi [Music] f all the Years that I wasted trying and finding It All That I go through my peace of Mind Let It All go out the no smoke in my [Music] eyes I Can Hear the Wind Ching It's always been you in the back of My [Music] Mind early Blue morning when I see you [Music] covered in Gold there's Nothing Else that eases my soul I let it all go out the window no smoke in my eyes I Can Hear the Wind It's always been you my
