hello from the Bay of Fundy we are deviant sky in this video we're going to be traveling between provinces from Digby Nova Scotia to St John New Brunswick across the Bay of Fundy on the MV Fundy Rose Ferry we are super excited it's our first time experiencing this Ferry and we're going to take you guys along with us we are starting this video off in Digby Nova Scotia this is a beautiful Coastal area that's well known for its Hospitality it's fishing it's the scallop capital of the world it has whale watching and it's also the area where you can board and depart on the funny Rose Ferry this is point Prim Lighthouse behind me it's a gorgeous spot to come see the watch and bird watch and just stretch your legs now we're gonna go check in just down the road from point Prim Lighthouse for our accommodation of the night and tomorrow morning we'll board the ferry over to St John we've discovered a new bird species at Point broom we're not really sure what they are hey look at the turkeys staying at the Digby Pines Golf Resort and Spa this place is phenomenally gorgeous and their main lodge area has a lot of different room options but we are going to be staying in one of their Cottages behind me how flipping cute is this this is their key card Diggy Pines on the front the Thunderbirds on the back come on in as you walk in the door there is a bathroom right over here super nice regular bathroom big full-length mirror which I love the bed is so high I don't even think I can do a foot test will have to be like a frontal Baptist a little desk area a little coffee station some chairs and what we love about this Cottage is that it has its own living room with a huge cozy beautiful fireplace this is a real wood fireplace I'm not sure should we have a fire I mean more it's pretty it's 30 degrees outside but this spot is only open all year round and I'm but yeah this would be gorgeous especially in the fall time this just feels like our own little private Cottage this is lovely David was the most excited all I hear from me in the room was Jack Jack what it's like there's a deck so we'll definitely hang out here this evening as well tonight we are going to be eating at Digby Farms because they have an amazing restaurant right on site it's called Churchill's Restaurant and Lounge it's this gorgeous setting um dining room area and we have amazing food they also have a beautiful patio that we might take our drinks out to later so we started with a smoky bacon potato chowder with a little bit of bubbly and we're gonna get some seafood for our mates we are in the scallop capital of the world so of course we had to get dishes with scallops and seafood and I got the Digby pants here at scallops they have let's count one two three four five six seven beefy looking beautiful fresh scallops prepared with some potatoes and carrots and some beautiful caramelized butter sauce I believe onion butter sauce and this is the seafood Churchill Seafood fusilli packed full of lots of local seafood we have some shrimp salmon scallops and lobster included in this dish or Sharon should I do that too here's the shrimp for dessert we have a passion fruit chocolate ganache it's like all my favorite things we got coffee meringue a little layer of passion fruit and chocolate ganache on the bottom it looks like a big Nanaimo bar the ganache is so rich though I'm not a huge fan of passion fruit so I'll eat the ganache in the coffee this is a dessert for two people for sure but this is so nice just down from the dignity Pines is the MV Fundy Rose Ferry Terminal and today we are going to be heading to New Brunswick on the ferry highly recommend booking ahead they take roll-on vehicles trucks cars and just single passengers too so you want to get dropped off and just jump on a ferry and jump off on it in St John then you can yeah and you'll just be here like they actually text you let you know when you're supposed to be here so we're here an hour early we're going to wait for it to come in we have the dogs with us dog friendly easy check-in service lady was super nice thank you so much we forgot to get our name but uh very informative and yeah we have the dogs here with us too here we go where are they taking us we're up on another level a whole nother level a whole nother level so they do have candles here if you want to leave your dogs there but it's a cooler day we're gonna leave ours in the car the windows are cracked and there's always people around checking in on the vehicles and checking in on animals in the vehicles too this Perry has an Escalade paper since there was so much rain this whole Coastline just has massive waterfalls right now it's amazing welcome to the MV Sunday rose fairy this Ferry takes about 774 passengers on an Epic Journey between Digby and St John daily all year round we are very excited to take this journey it's about a two hours and 15 minute trip and we're gonna give you a little tour of all of the amenities on board here we're actually starting this tour from the very top deck so of course you roll onto the ferry you park down below and you head up to the main deck and there's tons of stuff on that main deck and then above that is this top deck here so this is a great spot to come up and watch the surrounding area get that fresh Sea Breeze and this is the Crow's Nest where you can also get food and beverages on a nicer day unfortunately it is closed today but this is actually a kids movie theater onboard and they have like Theater seating and everything too it's really cool I even have a trucker's Lounge for commercial drivers only with some comfy spots inside to kind of get away from the noise of the rest of the ferry and have a little nap maybe watch some TV this is a commercial Business Center where you can come and get some work done on your laptop also look over here they have this cool mobile charging station where you can put your phone inside and charge it and lock it up during your travels this is my chip Cafe where you can come and get delicious coffees there are tons of places to sit and relax on this Ferry I mean it is over a two-hour Journey so this is kind of like a quieter area with a bunch of comfy chairs and there's some beautiful sea views and these windows Outlook over the ocean to see where you are heading to your destinations this is the front of the ship there's also a gift shop on board called Bundy Treasures with lots of local hoodies inside so really nice jacket I feel like we might need one of these this week as the forecast is calling for quite a bit of rain they also have tides and Valley Eatery which has some delicious hot foods and seafood options as well on one side of the chef there's the kids movie theater area and this is more of the adult movie theater area where they play movies on every uh Trip the movie actually already played today but we really wanted to showcase the cool chairs that you can sit here so you can bring your food over sit back relax and watch something while you're going across the way Monday thank you we are here and just like that we are now in St John New Brunswick and we just went right from the ferry terminal to where we are staying here in St John and we are at the Delta by Marriott it's a beautiful hotel located right in the Uptown historic area of St John so we're within walking distance to some of the most popular attractions of the city and give you a little room tour now you come in this is their big beautiful spacious king bedroom oh it's like a pillow top mattress feel a little desk area fridge area and a bathroom as well nice so we're here for a few nights and we're gonna explore St John New Brunswick why don't you lie in your bed look there's this little note in the hotel room with a very interesting fact about seagulls on it don't know why but uh seagulls can drink salt water and regular water I think you must be seagull Toby this is the hotel we're staying at it's currently extremely foggy it's awesome to say that it can be often foggy no it's not being foggy we've been here many times has not been foggy there's a freaks lunch box right across the street nice my favorite UK chocolate bar is a boost bar and they just never have them here they never have Boost bars yes they do I got them for you once for your birthday from uh freak on track actually but it was not in the same we're gonna grab some food from this place behind me it's called Pomodori and then we're eating it in picaroons which is dog friendly just right next door I got a chicken pesto Pizza which is one of their top sellers and it smells amazing I got like a meat lovers Italian sauce Italian sausage pepperoni mozzarella housemaid sauce as well sauces are super spicy and then we also bought a lovely salad that I am forgetting the name of but it comes with chickpeas julienne carrots I believe it's like an orange some sun-dried tomatoes some beets on there sunflower seeds looks incredible and two big flights we just got a mixed selection we're just like give us everything and hot tip that if you come to quicker in St John's location they actually grew at least through three on-site beers that you can only really get around here so like they're not the type of pepper and Spears that you can get in your regular liquor store or anything so we have three pretty unique ones here to try as well amongst yeah two flights eight different examples and it gets better let's dig in it's trivia night every Thursday night for like throughout the winter we play trivia and Iona okay Brandon and we love trivia so we're staying we're not very good at it but it's actually a Monday right now though so I don't know what their trivia schedule is like but maybe that's online during the summer maybe uh St John come here for trivia at the pizza dear dog friendliness beautiful atmosphere cheers nice do you know that hippos have pink milk you never know until tonight so spooky right now we did not win at uh trivia but um we came close we came close we're nine points less than the winners pickeroons war is awesome all the beers were amazing I liked every single one of them even their sours it wasn't too sour okay this is not a park you lied no never left and now we're just kind of wandering around because the dogs have to poop dude this is so pretty just took a little walk up to Kings Square it is so pretty right now with the fog and the lights out and there's kind of a few people hanging a boat playing something that's family playing basketball and the dogs are available okay it's okay and you just normally make those noises oh so today we are about 10 minutes outside of the city of St John and we are here with InStep Adventures owner and operator Marguerite and Walter as well as our guides we are going to be doing a guided hiking experience we are at the masquatch Estuary protected area and we're going to be hiking from Kohl's and coal which is where we are now along the coast to the muskwash Head Lighthouse wow but if you look through the fog you can actually see the two smoke stacks of the Folsom pool see this stuff looks really really healthy and nice it is actually yeah eat the lean you're welcome this one here yeah you eat the leaves sorry not the stuff well sorry not the flower stem right the leaf stem not this yeah and you're just gonna eat it all yeah the whole thing all right yep and you can like you said put it in salad you can chop it up and put it in salad a little bit of a salty and salty chill with other lettuce and stuff it's actually quite good oh no we would be doing a foraging good dogs are loving this Trail and they can be off leash on this Trail too and this is Split Rock so the rock right over there it's split from the coastline what this Trail is known oh sorry that's what the snake Trail is named after as well it's pretty cool you see the set oh wow yeah and that sap is actually an excellent Fire Starter so if you're ever you know well this is one of Marguerite's favorite look-offs you can look right up the coast on a clearer day we're gonna have to come back I wonder what's down there that's very cool oh it tastes better oh yeah no no that's just the beginning wow would you like to go down yes okay and it's very slippery because it's been very wet all right we've got some dogs and also because it's uh what's that and it does smell like peanut butter that's wild this is really freaky oh my gosh but you can hear I just got like a H that's creepy it's very cool though and you can hear the water down there and she said on a drier day she sometimes also scrambles up on the side here and looks over to the next Cavern but we're not gonna do that today because it's pretty wet and slippery how is that fun it's like there's probably videos on YouTube of people like going way down there this is wild I did not realize we were this high and again on a clear day you can see the lighthouse down the coast this is my squash Head Lighthouse and we're just gonna walk down the hill here to the beach and have lunch so there's three um three containers and in the first container is your sandwich oh which I'll tell you about in a minute okay and then in the middle container is your salad and in the last container is your dessert oh my gosh that's awesome so you have it all in one spot and they're called Tiffin they're called tiffins yeah awesome so part of this experience is a included lunch and this is an experience of itself look at that wow the sandwich is actually made um I make the bread and it's dull spread so a lot of people come to New Brunswick and they want to experience dolls yeah they don't really like the texture so this was my way of allowing people to try it by making bread with it so this is still so cool what is dolls it's seaweed there you go you've never had dolls no oh we should buy some dolls foreign so this is where our hike ends and it's called black Beach and we're just gonna get the dogs all cleaned up here in the ocean I'm at that beach beach tent and the 10 by 10 canopy and a match and then we have um like blankets and firewood for our day Santa Fe that's wonderful that wraps up our tour with instead veggies it was so good we could have kept going honestly um but we're it's done but they have full day tours too available as well and black black beach with the black sand was really really cool to see as well and a highlight was definitely getting to see some of the look-offs and hear some of the knowledge on the look on the area and the lunch too oh yeah follow them on Instagram and yes do you want to come over here in the underscore step underscore Adventures on Instagram but our website has all of that information on it just go to instepadventures.ca and this business is only newer this two year two or three years now so you're she's still growing and it's personalized Adventures too so you just get in touch with her and she'll help you curate to the adventure that best suits you and give you an amazing experience guys baby coyote drive has no fear oh wow he's lost dude he's lost oh is there Mama coyote um no I'm not getting out you're not getting those no I just want to take a picture with my other hands I want to say hi next up we're here at Rockwood Park we are a very short distance from the city of St John we're literally like yeah it's only a few minutes like a few minutes out of the side of the city and it is a beautiful Wilderness little area here we're right by a lake and there are over 50 kilometers of hiking trails here there is an area for golfing I believe it's an 18 course Golf Course area Trails areas for the dogs there's a dog park or a bark Park you can come here and go swimming you can come here and go fishing and they have some great rental opportunities too for kayaking or canoeing or they have hydro bikes and we might go check them out I don't think I've seen rock climbing yeah is this like you get here and we parked but then we're like whoa this this place is massive there's a lot to see and do here well we've seen these while we were in Ontario we never got a chance to try them the bike floaty bike things so I think we're gonna try these I'm gonna take Indy with me and Skyler can get crazy Toby oh all right here we go can I say yeah easy for you Wendy Hydro biking this is my new favorite thing these are great you can go so fast and you can kind of like get up and walk around dogs can come on Toby don't drink that that can't be good oh no Toby Toby you're not supposed to go oh don't get off Indy's so heavy that I can't turn left so I gotta do some like pirate stuff hanging off the edge here like the turn left it's just so oblivious just like staring out of the water foreign 's faster than mine this isn't right eat my dust Waters eat my water that was pretty graceful it was good yeah so we just went on the bikes right there and we're gonna eat at this conveniently placed Lily's Lakeside they have a really nice patio area and a really nice dining area inside too we got a little starter we were recommended to try some of their seafood dishes here and that they're really well known for their seafood chowder so that's what we had to get for a starter and this is a cup of chowder she's like two fish size full so you're definitely getting a decent amount of chowder and we're gonna split it and it's chock full of different seafood that's a whole scallop in there whoa we got a whole muscle in there well I've never seen a muscle me neither that's very nice it's very nice we're keeping it simple tonight I got a burger Skyler got a burger the difference is goat cheese and bacon oh yours has bacon too mine has bacon too with sauteed mushrooms and swiss cheese and David's has goat cheese with like a fried onion Fritz yeah on top so it has like a little crunch to it you got fries I got wild rice this place is awesome but I still steal your prize you can steal some of my wild rice here we're exploring more of this park uh we found some geese checking them out the owner of the place where we got our rentals the Hydra bike rentals she was telling the section of this park that you can either walk or drive along and every province in Canada hoping territories too uh donated a rock to Rockwood Park and they have them on display with a flag from that Province so it's kind of neat you can take this Trail along you can walk it or drive it and see all the different Province represented made our way all the way back around back to Lily's it's like nice little Point as we were leaving and we wanted to come back and check it out good morning we're gonna grab some breakfast at Brit's Pub and Eatery we heard that they have really good brunch so for breakfast I got the chicken and waffle eggs benedict look at how crazy these things are and Tyler got avocado toast which also looks really good and she also got a side of home fries which was kind of not necessary but um well yours might have Sriracha so David's uh chicken waffle likes penny has Sriracha mayo and I'm not a big spice person so I played it safe and I know I wanted some of his home fries so I of course had to order my own but my um avocado taste toast it comes with a breakfast salad too it's very good I don't want anything too heavy like chicken and waffles so this is a good alternative this is amazing I say I don't want anything too heavy but like I'm definitely having a bite of that if you come here on Tuesdays five dollar pints it's called Tapas and Dad Tapas five dollars plus Tapas menu and then they have a happy hour is five dollar pints too and a bunch of other weekly specials AKA we want to come back no it's this one what's rolled ice cream aren't you curious I am curious oh my God just picked up this crazy looking thing from uh delish yeah there wasn't really much explanation of what it is it has pictures it's rolled ice cream you don't know what a roll of ice cream is no it's like they lie it out on like a really cold surface and then they kind of just like roll it yeah look at that that's amazing does it taste different role um no Jardine's alley we should come back at night okay let me tell the whole street fight today we are going to be exploring Uptown St John and uptown area of the city is super walkable vibrant and there are lots of different historical buildings to see and be a part of as well so we're going to be walking around the city and exploring a little bit there are lots of different bars and restaurants shops that you can check out and explore St John actually has a self-guided walking tour available on their website so they have two different ones they have a Heritage historic walking tour that you can check out and find some more information on the city and the different buildings around the city that you'll see as well as an art and public places tour too so you can walk around and see some of the art installations we're gonna do that and then we have some more things planned for this afternoon too I'm having a great day there's so many different shops to check out great I guess I'll just wait here rolling down your Main Street right now and we popped into this lovely little Art Studio by Sheila Howell where she paints on-site and has all of her beautiful artworks in store as well and it's just like a little living room where you get to see kind of behind the scenes and all of the different artwork that she's created and you get to chat with the artist that was just such an unexpected experience we had it was really really nice foreign Square the other day the one with all the Gazebo and all the lights and just down the street this one is Queen Square I mean you can play some chess Checkers yeah we don't have anything with us though this is really nice you should teach me how to play chess today okay no afternoon in uptown St John will be complete without a visit to the St John City Market established in 1876 this is actually Canada's oldest running Market which is pretty incredible and even still today it is a local favorite for sourcing produce Meats fish gift items they have a great food court area where you can get some food or you can also pick up some local Artisan items it's a beautiful spot and the building itself is super cool if you can look behind me here the top of the building actually resembles an upside down ship hole which is pretty cool and you can look up old photos we just did before coming here of what it used to look like and the vibe that it would have had back in the 18 1876 versus now in modern day so definitely have a visit to the St John City Market on your list we just kind of snuck up these stairs doesn't say you're not allowed but uh looks pretty easy just to pull that Bell right there don't just asking for it he'll get us kicked out of Saint John we borrowed from St John what is it I don't know it's not sure they have tons of different Fresh Products here weird looking ones that I've never heard of course kind of looks like a root like an onion or something mixed with a potato how about this little setup out here it's so nice so this they have a food Hall that you can go and visit all the different vendors inside and grab a bunch of little goodies and then come in here and eat so we will show you what we got we tried to get some uh Nova scope or Nova Scotia oh my gosh New Brunswick we're trying to get some New Brunswick gems um and oh hot tip should definitely visit the city market um probably before four o'clock because it's about 4 30 now and quite a few of the vendors are closing up shop for the day so that's a little hot tip for you but we can show you what we got now we went to Jeremiah's Deli and got one of their chicken club sandwiches or what were they also calling it Jake Palmer a jake Palmer so we're assuming that must be like a local person that loved getting the chicken club and that's what the name is uh strawberries are in season so we visited the green grocer and we didn't get the thing of strawberries but we got this little container of fresh local strawberries and blueberries as well um the polo line I was seeing these all over the market I've never had one before it is a Saint Stephen New Brunswick chocolate bar I think it has peanuts inside of it so this is really exciting that we're gonna get to try there's also quite a few different spots with um International beverages that they Import in which is quite unique so we got some iron brew from Scotland and some ginger beer from Jamaica uh we got I'm saving for the best for us we got Java mousse coffees that's a local coffee roaster and this big bag this isn't even the big bag this is the small bag actually of fresh New Brunswick adults which if you've not had dolls before is basically seaweed and you get to eat it super salty I'm excited for you to try it thank you yeah it's actually all right it's kind of like sushi tasting healthy oh could you eat a whole bag of it I don't think I need a whole bag I'm super craving iron brew from the Homeland from the Homeland got a whole coffee there buddy oh give me a wee sip YouTube oh that's nice oh it's delicious like a Snickers just like fudge wrapped in chocolate mwah is this girl club sandwich super simple and even like heat it up a little bit red is soft multigrain we grab the dogs and next up we are at area 506 container Village which is located right along the Waterfront here in uptown St John and it's a really cool area filled with shipping containers and inside the shipping containers you can find an arrangement of different retail shops places to grab a bite to eat I hear that there's a beer garden here and sometimes they're even playing movies so I picked that there's a movie over there playing right now for et for kids but they have lots of different events always happening so be sure to check them out on their website and on their social media we're gonna go take a wander ET is not just for kids oh sorry that's true that's very very true I love it what do you think a bear of soap called thieves would smell like it's like cinnamon yeah I want to buy this it's 10 bucks that's the cheapest Lobster I've ever seen do you want the lobster which one it just hits seven o'clock so everything is closing up um so we're gonna get to see absolutely everything but we did get a little toy for Toby so their hours are like 11 to 7. upstairs every day tonight's restaurant location became highly recommended we had to make a reservation because it's well loved in the city and we are at East Coast Bistro there are known for sourcing local and making some incredible dishes tonight I went with a strawberry themed meal I have a strawberry salad strawberries are in season right now so they're local berries it has a poppy seed vinaigrette some toasted almonds on there and goat cheese and I got some local Northern New Brunswick oysters and it comes with a strawberry and black pepper make a net on top of it too and instead of serving it on a bed of ice these oysters are actually served on some chilled rocks I just think that is so cool that is so like seed a table um ingenious that's amazing and I got an espresso Martini David got a refreshing cold local beer and I can't remember everything David Gott because he got a special that wasn't on the menu it is a local lamb shank served with a couscous and Dijon mustard and a bunch of other lovely things on that plate there our server came over and she wanted to let us know that everything is made in house here like everything right down to the syrup in my cocktail like everything it's quite incredible crazy and incredible that is so unique that is delicious it's really sweet from the strawberry but then it has that kick from the pepper in it nice that's it that's amazing it tastes so good the combination of the the meat there's so much flavor cracked into this one dish and I've not even written into the landing strong Martini was it oh guys that place was amazing you gotta go there it lived up to the hype if you're looking for a cool place to take photos there's Marcy's salads if you look that up they have this Alleyway full of beautiful lights we'll take some photos here Captain Medea with a little Brew down at the beer garden here at containership Village okay good job thanks oh this is neat this is so nice cheers cheers no sunset tonight but it was a good night it was a very good night and we love checking out this little beer garden now we know where to come on possibly nicer day yeah we're in a little bit of a fog right now but it means we have it all to ourselves just tomorrow morning is looking good the Delta has their own parking uh garage area I just clocked over on the poo bag just wanted to know that they have their own like level in a parking garage so we have access to our car right directly from the hotel next up on our morning Adventures so we got up early this morning we're gonna see a sunrise but there wasn't once then we went down to see the ferry leave and now we are at reversing falls Rapids so St John and the city is the actually the only city that's located along the Bay of Fundy and an important river in New Brunswick is the St John River and this location is where the Saint John River pours out into the Bay of Fundy so what do we know about the Baya Fundy it is the world's highest tides and you have this tug of war action that happens here in St John as the St John River pulls out into the Bay of Fundy eventually the Bay of Fundy Also Rises and it causes this tug of war action so the river's trying to go out but the Bay of Fundy is trying to come in hence reversing falls and that's where we are we are here at low tide we were recommended to check reversing Paul Rapids at both low tide and high tide because at low tide the river as you can see is really gushing out and there's no force from the Bay of Fundy happening right now so there's a lot of Whirlpool action happening down there but then in about 12 and a half hours at a high tide you'll see that there's even more whirlpools because the forest the Bay of Fundy is coming back in some cool things and there's different Lookout points along reversing Paul Rapids as well is this real life we can see the sky there's blue there's a little bits blue up there it's so exciting and we're not even in the city today but we'll get to that later for breakfast we are eating at cask and Kettle and it has a beautiful little patio area so dog friendly loving it dogs got treats and water and we got a great little thieve David got a breakfast sandwich with home fries and I got their breakfast bowl so it has home fries mushrooms onions peppers with some eggs on top this looks incredible and their home fries are awesome they are made with some sea salt and rosemary I regret my choice I wish I got this this looks amazing you still get the really good home price though like if you didn't get the home fries I would have told you you're super Miss now thing to see here nothing to see here Skyler always gets after me for getting stuff on spilling in on myself and she just got some sauce on it yeah but you never think to bring an outfit change when you spill stuff on you I am planning to change around continuing our vacation we're going to explore some towns by the Bay so at St John is so much more than just the main city there are a bunch of incredible towns that surround this area and all along the river and so we are in Hampton today but you can also check out Grand Bay Westfield rosse quiz Pam Chris Pam says Hampton like where we are now and St Martin's too we actually have another video on St Martin sea cave St Martin area and the Fundy Trail Parkway so many different spots to explore but we're in Hampton and uh we're gonna go for a little walk where are we walking where's the the Dutch Point Trail we're gonna go check that out there is this is an all year round trail system and it's pretty great we've actually been here in the winter once but it's exciting to take a little stroll in the summertime it's hot oh my God very nice this is a really nice photo spot it is but we gotta go go gorgeous it's absolutely gorgeous it's melting already yeah town of Hampton is super cute and they have this great little spot with busted Burgers where you can get burgers and snow is ice cream so we just got some ice cream but it's really hot so we cooked it into a dish screw it wouldn't even know what's here if you didn't know if you knew you know you know we are now tucked away in the forest and we are at the spa at La Belle caban and this is an indigenous owned and operated healing Sanctuary that really focus on the cultural thermal experience upon arrival we were greeted by the owners Tasha and Corey and they gifted us some healing Cedar tea before we wander down the path to our own little Spa pod that's what they're called they're called a little pod and this is all ours for a few hours to relax enjoy and heal we'll give you a little tour of our pod right now it's super private we have our very own tucked away in the forest this is a heated riverbed Rock River bed and this is going to be part of your spa experience so you actually start kind of a hot cold unrest we have a dry sauna that is Wood-Fired you can still cure our own sonnet however hot you prefer I'm behind David over here this is a steam sauna and she said that definitely video the door opening up because it's quite a cool shot so nice and you can see there's little seats in there for you to enjoy as well they have very they have fairy lights strung up they have a wood fire a very own little wood fire to relax around as well over here is a cold shower which I don't know who's going to be up here the task near you I'll do the cold bath and you can do the cold salad you have our own little hot tub saved the best for last this is a cedar tub filled with cold water so it's a seat it's a cold bath we are here to feature it but I think that we will definitely be coming back and leaving the cameras at home someday because footage will definitely show you how gorgeous it is but there's a feeling here too and just talking to the owner in their story was beautiful I was like kind of like tearing up but in a really nice way it was this is just a very very special spot you can also look up LaBelle cabin online and you can book cabins here that they have up the mountain and I wanted to mention that you can book this whole pod out I think it holds up to six people so you can come yourself with a friend four people or six people and have this all to yourself oh okay well obviously we should do this with the dark clothes but it smells nice oh wow you can see right out whoa hey this is gorgeous oh my gosh Skyler just roasted her butt on this so I was like that say hello take it home for Toby no it's a spa cleaner just take the take the top what do you think they'll notice you look like you love it like old how good do you feel right now though yes I feel good okay just kidding I'm just gonna get back in here healing proper good for uh your respiratory system and skin and yeah and it's also really cool softball feature as well oh Lord oh wow wow it smells incredible this is amazing okay we gotta go so we just had a little Tour by uh one of the owners it's three brothers that actually own the upsider and Yip is named after their grandfather whose nickname was Yip a very cool name the hashtag is sip yep so we did a little tour we got to see the tap room area they have an incredible deck up there too and then they have this awesome lawn as well with tons of different games that you can come out and play Perfect on a warm summer day like this and they have some pizzas that you can order and we got two flights aside and we're gonna sit here and enjoy you can also get married here there's a ceremony spot down there there's a big event live music everything looks so beautiful it's like very like rustic bench seating right on the water yeah oh my gosh this is a Hidden Gem and yeah I know this whole area we were driving here and we're like how haven't we explored here before it's gorgeous oh my gosh oh my gosh okay no favorite one I can't really read the writing so I don't know I really like the OG the passion fruit was fun hopped was a little hoppy this one I think this might be my favorite don't know what that name is though fruit pineapple oh pineapple of all the different flavors but you just can't beat like a nice OG regular apples this is lovely this is cider is really good the customer service was great and just like the location itself is just really really nice I think that they've done a really good job putting something together here that's both a great product and an experience as well and they're open all year long which is great to know so reduced hours I think in the winter and probably spring months but they're here for you and all your side are needs moving along to our next spot we're taking the Westfield Ferry we were told it's free we'll find out shortly we're on the ferry we're on not the ferry not the bunny Roseberry I thought you should be on that this is the Brundage Point farmers market it happens weekly on Thursdays from two to seven and it's about 6 50 right now so everybody's kind of packing up but it's a really cool thing to uh come see and experience and buy some local goodies we're gonna go take a peek inside Standard Poodles and a border collie really oh my goodness we have a border collie that's so funny we didn't get too much time to explore before our lady came out with an air horn and said Market's over and everybody just start packing which is amazing I mean yeah she brought us for not being here sooner but like oh my gosh that was so neat that's a very very cool little market and they have tons of different stuff and she said that there's even like uh pizzas I think it's like a pizza oven spot I think it's a cart over there uh people come over to get pizza and then they like shop for goodies and stuff as well super cool made it back into St John grabbed the dogs and then we're back at the ferry because we're trying to get nice pictures of it and I've just not had much luck with the weather lately foreign of the Night Market which takes place right by the city market every single Thursday I believe it's just through the Summers and it runs five until nine and we show it like with 15 minutes to spare and people are kind of already packing up so I would definitely recommend to show up early to truly enjoy it we got some Samosa snacks and they even have Uncorked which is a awesome little um what would you call it like okay yeah kind of like a beer food truck they also do Brewery tours too so like you can go and be in contact with them and they'll take you on a custom uh brewery tour from what I could kind of find out from them right quick yeah so we got a little sour beer some samosas oh foreign from black Beach we came here for Sunrise but uh didn't really get much of the Sunrise it's so beautiful it's a little bit I don't know was it it's Commerce to today that it was the other day over here the tide is out right now which is quite cool because when we were here the other day there wasn't much of a beach and now that was much more of a beach Beach all right Skye and Daisy we are back in Hampton today one because they have the best barber in the world and two because yesterday we didn't have time to go to beer Daddy barbecue and the place looks amazing we want to spend some time there so that's where we're going today inside they have a really nice area to sit down but they also have a porch patio too the patio is dog friendly and one half of the building is beer Daddy barbecue what happened to the building's beer Daddy barbecue the other half is Gridiron brewing and they have a bunch of different beers on top both that they make and guest Taps these are all the ones that they are making right now they're all quite a light flight of beer the ultimate thing that we're here for is the barbecue beets of course they make all of their own rub and seasoning in-house it smells incredible you're a meat lover you eat in here holy crap oh my gosh so we got the sampler you can also get a box for one or box for two and just like chews but they have tons of different stuff on their menu this looks and smells incredible and we couldn't resist to get their mac and cheese too whoa that was incredible it's like a seasoned cheese sauce oh my God you're gonna love it try it so we are out here on the patio and we're just about to enjoy our amazing lunch when lo and behold the owners of both of these incredible companies are actually here as well which is so cool I mean the best businesses usually have the owners on site right um so this is Corey what was your last name again he's the owner operator of uh beer Daddy barbecue and we have Luke McGregor McGregor I have uh Gridiron Brewing so they're gonna tell us a little bit more about their business and what you can hope to expect when visiting here as mentioned I'm Corey I'm the owner of Pit Master of beer Daddy barbecue and uh this is what I do a little bit of Southern and Southern uh Southern inspired cooking uh you know so you have your brisket your pulled pork your ribs I do pork belly not a lot of places around here do pork belly we smoke sausages and then you're in southern sides just coleslaw and potato salad and that kind of stuff we have a bang and mac and cheese it's getting its own cult following at this point which is super cool and you know um yeah so that's what we do I've been doing it for oh I've been practicing the craft since about 2017 roughly uh did a few competitions did a little bit of catering and then we decided that uh fate decided that I was going to open a restaurant full time and uh so here we are this is what I do I'm welcome and I hope you come and enjoy awesome and it is paired perfectly with oh yeah I'm Luke McGregor run Brewing I'm sort of the owner head Brewer head janitor whatever you want to call it I run it with uh with my wife Heather Avery and we uh we started Brewing commercially in 2018 in our garage started selling beer to cakes and bars and it takes two bears and then started selling Growlers to folks coming into the brewery so we did that for a few years and then ended up buying this building and then sort of converting it into a Tap Room space in 20 20 to 2021 open in the summer 2021 and yes instead of just kept on making lots and lots of beer more every year for sure it's been definitely a growing uh growing industry all around New Brunswick and then definitely for us so it's been a lot of fun and a lot of a lot of good times yeah well thank you guys so much for your time too thing like if you just get your butts here there will be someone here to talk to you more about the product you can just come in blindly and they'll make sure you fall in love with it yes awesome thank you guys so much thank you very much this beautiful piece of equipment behind me is what makes all of the delicious smoked barbecue Foods so this is the beer daddy smoker and he said actually um that one of their main ingredients or they consider as an ingredient is wood and they use 100 Maple in their smoker to smoke their meats and it smells if we could like transport the smell into camera right now you would be like drooling already this is incredible so worth coming back to Hampton for that that was is amazing like so good it was just so so good and we weren't the only ones saying that either I overheard a few different people saying this is incredible I'm coming back the beer Daddy I was gonna say the beer the beer daddy the owners were so passionate about it they were so passionate the meat was awesome the beer paired with it was incredible as well it was just the perfect combination and it's so good to see I don't know it was just such a cool little business and it's so cool to meet the owners as well and see their love for it and shine through the food and the beer blue skies in the city so we popped back and took 506 grabbed some ice cream is it dripping everywhere oh my gosh I got cherry cheesecake and David got some chocolate creation wow wow that's impressive okay where are we going this is so nice ready to go hike to the lighthouse come on really hoping this clears up three two one foreign you're on a cliff what's your name just got the text from uh bay fairies check in one hour early make sure so um I guess we're just gonna wait here a little bit and see if it clears up all right we're in line to get the ferry home to Digby and it's a beautiful morning stunning gorgeous just gorgeous we are back in Digby we had a very relaxing ferry ride back got a little snack some smoothies seen a whale like a whale jumping in the air rather miss it though she's crazy well no look I kind of saw it I saw it in the Distance by the time I got my lens I was trying to capture it so that you guys could see it too but by the time I got my big lens on and everything it was the ferry moves very quickly the whale was just a little tiny Splash in the distance but it was very cool and to see the excitement on everybody else's face that I got to see a whale as well I don't know to take a ferry and have it double as kind of like a whale watching possibility is pretty cool and the Bay of Fundy is like the best place to see whales yeah so I said say goodbye to the fairy and now we're in Digby and we're heading home so this is the end of the video yeah thank you so much for watching hopefully we have inspired you to take the Fundy rose fairy take that amazing adventure from Digby to St John maybe showed you a few things what to see and do in St John and yeah yeah thanks for watching I can talk all day I talk way too much bye it's like we have a lot of friends or could just rent out our house and then do a van life thing but we have two dogs as well so grab the wheel there's the devil on my shoulder so actually you can get a good picture here just don't pull the brakes oh okay all of a sudden the whole ship goes like Oh my gosh we just moved so I thought it was me but Toby hasn't seen this Virginia this is gonna be good oh my God oh hey hi okay so next up
