Dial in a KILLER Lead tone with a Line 6 POD!

so hey [Music] so [Music] okay so i did say that i would show you how i dialed in that sound that i was using on the pod and this is as best as i know how to do this there's no real easy way to share this tone with you so if we start at the beginning this is where your knobs will end up i think so the first thing to bear in mind is that if you hold in tap and hold you can actually get different amps than what you see on the face here so i think i'm using the mesobugi mark 2 c plus that's in there so basically you want to hold this tap button if you start off here like on a normal tone if you hold tap and then turn to brick classic i think this is the dirty channel of a 2c plus and you see i have the drive about three quarters of the way up base at halfway mid i think i had dimed treble i have about 12. [Music] and then channel volume here now uh if you press tap and hold and turn up the reverb i think you turn up the size of the room so like this [Music] so i think i did that then the next thing is i put it on delay compressor and with the effect tweak about here [Applause] and then i think also if you hold tap and turn up base this will turn up your delay repeats and i think i did that [Music] and i think the very last thing i did was to turn on the drive in front of the amp which you do by holding down tap and turning drive past 12 o'clock and put it back to where it was then [Music] [Music] i think that's pretty close to the tone that i ended up with [Music] [Music] [Applause] so just give that a try as i say the delay compressor here um with the effect tweaked down to about here so the compressor turned down a bit and i held tap to change the brick classic here so that it's the mesobugi 2c plus drive channel and then hold tap and turn up the reverb to get some of that more kind of lead tone friendly [Music] and then my 1b is actually the same tone without the drive in front [Music] so it should have slightly less gain in theory [Music] so now if i turn on the drive on this [Music] it should sound fairly similar so those are the settings hopefully that's vaguely useful to one or two people that are still using the pod too i was quite surprised by that lead tone and really enjoyed it so that was how i put it together and i'll catch you another video soon cheers so uh oh [Music] you
