[Music] all right so in this session we're going to discuss and this session is called the word of god is our final authority so throughout Christianity we see a problem a big problem right now is that people are making their experiences above the Word of God which is not good the Word of God always has to supersede our feelings emotions and all circumstances so we are supposed to align all of our circumstances to the Word of God and not the Word of God to the circumstances if we start shifting and aligning the Word of God to our life we're gonna get off-track real quick and we'll get lost and we see that happening a lot we had a guy long time ago to join The Healing Room and he liked to watch youtube videos and every time that we would talk scripture he say oh like I don't have time for that I don't need the Word of God and so he goes you know I got it all figured out and so little by little by little he got deceived and then next thing you know he doesn't believe that the devil exists the next thing he believes is that everybody's going to heaven and there is no hell and so it didn't take him much but in one year of just listening to stuff across YouTube he got completely messed up in his understanding and so we believe that the Word of God is the final authority so if something does not line up with the scripture then it's not the final truth the final truth is the Word of God and so we're going to go through these scriptures so the first scripture that I want us to go to psalm 119 verses 89 491 so psalm 119 it says forever Oh Lord your word is settled in heaven so God's Word is settled in heaven so God settled his word in heaven your faithfulness endures to all generations you establish the earth and it abides so God created the earth and it abides they continued this day according to your ordinances so we know that God put when he created he created the Sun the moon the whole galaxy all the stars and everything is functioning to its perfection to how God said it and everything lines up to exactly what he commanded it to do for all are your servants and so the key word out of this scripture is that your word is settled in heaven so settled means that it will never change since the word is unchangeable and can be used as a reliable rule to measure such a good examples like a tape measure so if you have a tape measure you use that as your reference points for those of you there in a construction you look at different things everything looks different and so how do you line up all the measurements you use a tape measure because you know that never changes and so you align all of your measurements to the tape measure so same thing with the Word of God because it's settled and everything that's in the Word of God is the final truth and so we're supposed to align all of our circumstances to the Word of God and if we do that we will be headed in the right direction so whatever is settled in heaven our job is to settle it on the earth and so when we look at situation when we look at circumstances in our life and if they don't line up to scripture we need to bring scripture into those situations and make those situations align to the truth of the word of God and so what we're going to be going through is we're going to lay down the foundation by which if you follow that foundation you'll have healing and all the other principles that are in the Word of God will be effective and they will be working in your life and so when God spoke thanks to the earth it still continues to this day so I wanted to share an example to where I had to test this scripture for myself this happened about 2013 I was staying with some friends we were at the beach house and the beach house and everything was good and then on the last night I get a dream and in that dream I see myself like that I lifted out of my body and on angel and I flew somewhere up north and I came into this room and there were some like I could tell that they were Satanists people and they were deciding like what they're gonna be doing what their plan is and so like almost like I was up on top over here in their conversation and so and they were discussing how they were going to I heard my name how they were gonna try to wipe me out and so I woke up and I knew that you know Holy Spirit was warming about something so I just sat on the side of the bed and I just prayed in tongues I just spoke that whatever the plan of the devil is it's not gonna work and once you know 15 minutes later I felt peace I went back to sleep then as we were driving home I started experiencing pain like in the back side of my body and it continued to get worse and worse and worse and then when I got home I couldn't even sit like I started walking around the house it was already late so I told my wife and my son to go to sleep I just went downstairs and I couldn't go to sleep I was in so much pain so I knew I had to go down you know deal with it so I was just walking around our family room and I continued to speak by His stripes I'm healed and I was going around my body just continued the pain continued to increase and I started feeling weaker and weaker and the only thing like I was so weak at that point the only thing that I could remember is what I learned that by His stripes I'm healed at the same time the enemy started attacking me with thoughts and everything else - where you're messed up you're gonna die all kinds of bad things you need to get to the hospital and so just all kinds of like just lie after lie after lie and the only thing I could do is to reply to it and say no devil you're a liar the truth is is that by Jesus stripes I'm healed and I'm going to win this battle and so I continued walking around til morning time and then so at first I had a thought you know like oh you need to call the ambulance see to go to the hospital and so I said no because I know that if I go down there they'll get me in there and start if I go to the yard they'll start operating I mean they'll start doing something or trying to figure out what it is and so I decided for myself that I never want to be cut and so I'm gonna stand on the Word of God and as I continued walking around I did that till about morning time and the morning time I knew that I can go see my doctor she's not gonna do anything so just to check out to see what's going on so I went to see my doctor and she said you need to go to the emergency room right away and I said no I'm not gonna go to the emergency room please schedule x-rays or whatever I just want to see what's going on so I know what you know I need to pray for and then so they did ultrasound and they found that in my goal bladdered a little tube there is about a half a centimeter goal batter stone that got stuck and it's not moving and when they did that test the doctor is like yeah you're not leaving the hospital like you need to like get him immediately get operated on that's very dangerous I said no no thank you for the results I'm leaving and so as I started walking out they're like they're following me not wanting me to let me get out and I said you can't keep me here I'm an adult there's that door and I'm walking out and so I just kept going back and I walked out and so by that time my pain was already more manageable because throughout the night I fought it and fought it and so I just in my heart I felt there is another brother that used to work for us so I called him up and I said hey I need you to meet up with me and pray for me and he said ok he goes it's interesting that you say that because the Lord told me to hang around Oregon City area and that's where I live because Batali's gonna be calling you I said well here I am I'm calling you so he meets up with me we pray and then I start feeling even more better and then as I'm driving home get home he calls me and he says God showed me this vision but I don't know if it's from God so I'm just gonna tell you and and if it's wrong just forget about it I said ok go ahead and tell me he said God told me to tell you that you can eat as much pizza as you want for the rest of your life and I said praise God because when I saw the doctor the doctor told me like when you have the surgery basically you're gonna have to change your diet you can never eat anything fat again you will never eat pizza or anything like that you're gonna have to go on a very strict like healthy diet and I told her no I'm gonna continue eating whatever I want because I'm not gonna have the surgery and so when he said that that just really confirmed how like it almost wanted to make me cry because God knows that I like pizza and so it was important enough to him to tell that to somebody else to tell me and he would have never known that detail but to me that just reaffirm how awesome how good our Father is that not only does he wanted me to be healed but if I like pizza he wanted to make sure that I'm able to continue eating pizza and if you're wondering I'm still continuing to eat pizza and so and then that night every like the rest of the day I just kept praying kept saying the word all the pain left and I became good and then a few days later I went back for a check-up to see the doctor again and I walk in the room and I sit down and waiting for her to come in and then she walks in the room and she get started like whoa what are you doing here I'm like he told me to come back for a checkup she's like well I knew you were not gonna come back once you have that surgery it takes a month to recover from the surgery you'd be in bed like what are you doing here I said I'm just doing what you told me I'm back for a checkup and she said you did not have your surgery I said no she said it's not possible that stone was stuck it who could not move and I said well I told you that I'm not gonna get operated on I'm gonna be healed and so for her she was really shocked how I mean I don't know how much he believes in God but she was really shocked that that actually happened and so the key to my testimony is this that that night I had a lot of decisions to make the enemy gave me a thousand reasons to quit and do something what seemed logical at a time get to the emergency room do whatever it is that you know there had to be done but I decided that the scripture will supersede and as I stood on it that prevailed why because the Bible says that whatever he says whatever to God God's Word says never comes back void right and so his word always works it's whether or not we decide to stand on it or not that's what it goes back to do we believe it and to what extent do we believe it now I'm not telling you that this is what you have to do this I'm just sharing what I did and I'm so like it's every person is in a different place you do whatever it is that you think you need to do is there it would there be something wrong if I went to the hospital no but I just chose to go this route because I don't want him to cut me up and take out organs that got put into my body obviously if I have these organs in my body God thought it was a good idea to have him there and so I like to keep all of my body parts and so I decide I'm gonna keep him and I'm not going to do what the world offered me I chose to what God offered me and that is divine health and so it was really hard but with that one scripture I was able to defeat a thousand lies of the enemy because didn't matter what he said I just kept repeating one thing by his stripes I am healed devil you're a liar by His stripes I'm healed and I'm not going to go any other direction I'm just going to continue stand on one Scripture so think about this that you can take one scripture and defeat the enemy so most people that came to Christ it took one scripture for you to come to Christ so a person that's unsaved he's in the kingdom or he or she is in the kingdom of the enemy and you use one scripture and you came to Christ with it you defeated the enemy by getting saved with one scripture and imagine how many powerful scriptures are in here if you go through this book there are so many scriptures that are for you that God set for you and that's what we're going to be going through we're just gonna go scripture by scripture and if you just choose to believe them and stand on them your life can be changed because his word is that strong it is settled forever so next scripture that we're gonna go to is isaiah 55:11 so isaiah 55:11 and it says so shall my word be that goes forth from my mouth it shall not return to me void but it shall accomplish what I please and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it so just like I mentioned a little bit before is that when God releases his word it goes out and accomplishes everything that he said it will accomplish until it completes it so a good physical example is light so we know in Genesis God said light be and what do we have right now we have light is right so light continues to be why because God said light be and so if we were like so science says that the universe is expanding in every direction like it's not stopping like you know from what from their studies they can see that they our universe is continued to expand and so if you could stand on the edge of the universe you would see the light pass you by and here light be why because his word is continuing to be it's continuing to do its job and until he says light stop or light and it's going to be that's how strong his orders so it is key to where we get grounded in this truth and we stand on this truth of his word so God's Word accomplishes his will and you can know his will why because his will is written in here so if you go through this book you will know his will and if you know his will and because he spoke his will for you and if you stand on it it has to line up why because they cannot return void every promise everything that's setting here about you has to work for you and for me why because his word never comes back void but we have to make that decision do we believe that or do we not that's his word sometimes goes out and sometimes returns empty or does it never return empty that is it always accomplishes because it says it shall not return to me void but it shall accomplish what I please and it shall prosper in the thing for which it sent so his word prospers his word does not bring death and destruction that's another point a really good point in here like his word when he goes out it's prosperous it does good things it's life and life abundant it doesn't say that as his word goes that kills everything that came comes across it it says his word prospers but so many Christians choose to believe the opposite they believe so much more of what the enemy is trying to do than what God's trying to do where it clearly says that his word as it's going it prospers so that means if his word is flowing through your life it prospers and I'm not talking about just finances here I'm talking about God's life in abundance that's everything that's health joy peace you name it everything for your good and everything for godliness everything that comes from God is good and it's good all the time because our Father is a good father so next scripture that we're gonna go to is psalm 138:2 Psalm 138 verse 2 it says I will worship toward your holy temple and praise your name for your love kindness and your truth for you have magnified your word above all your name I mean this is a very powerful scripture so God put his word above his name that's how much he guarantees it think about that so God's name is very powerful right God is the most powerful being in a universe and then he said that he takes his word and puts it above his name so it just he cannot get any better it cannot get any stronger there is nothing that's better and stronger that you can get then what his word that is for you that's how much he guarantees it that's how much he values it that's how important he thinks it is to her he put it above his name I mean how many of us will take something in our life that's really important we put it above our name not very often so God valued his word and he he trusted he believes that it's so much to where he is able to say that I take this word and I put it above my name so God's Word and his name are connected so the world system judges you by your name so for example like your credit score loans whatever you own everything is tied to your name right they wanted there if you want to get insurance they will do a credit report to see what your name is what what what have you done or have you messed up or what good have you done so everything's always tight in the world to our name to us people judge us by our name people judge us by who we are and so God took his word and guarantees it with his name to a degree where he put it above his name so we must put his word in the same exalted place in our life so if God values this so much to where he put it above his name that means that the value his word has to be up there really high very high above everything even above our name above every circumstance above all sickness above all disease above every problem everything that's associated with our name we have to take this word and put it above it if he did it that means he requires us do the same thing and if we do that our life will start changing the issue is that as humanity we don't value this word we don't value all the promises and everything that he said because he's already done everything if you think about it God has already accomplished everything everything that he will ever do he's already done with it it is already finished it is everything's already in here so we have to take that as finished work believe it put it up high and allow it to do his job and how do you know whether or not you believe it or not it's how you respond if there's a problem or there's a situation how do you respond to that situation do you speak and say if agreement what this word says or do you say something the opposite that's how you know whether or not you believe it or not when we minister to people that's for us it's very easy like from short conversation sometimes people says like yeah I believe what it says in here but as they're speaking they're saying everything the opposite of it so I know that the person wants to believe it in their mind they agree with it but they haven't processed it toward their believing and actually agree it agree with it and stand on it that's the key the key is to allow this word to supersede everything in our life okay so next scripture that we're going to go to is John 17 verse 17 so John chapter 17 verse 17 it says sanctify them by your truth your award is truth so God's Word is truth so that came from Jesus jesus said that himself that God's worth Ward sorry is the truth and so when Jesus walked the earth he knew that everything that's written is the truth and he walked by it and he was able to accomplish everything why because she agreed with God that everything that God said is the truth and so that's another very important scripture so God's Word outranks your feelings past experiences or current opinions we must look at our experiences through God's Word and not God's Word through your experiences because we mentioned this earlier it is really easy so what we see a lot of people do when a situation comes up they'll try to find a scripture or try to say you get something or somebody agree with them and align their problem or align the Word of God to their problem so they could continue staying in that problem or that situation and if you do that this word is not going to be able to do anything for you but instead if you choose if you look at your problem and then you look at what God says and say no this problems of the devil that well I'm not going to agree with that I'm not gonna stand on that instead I'm going to agree with what God said and stay with that and if you do that then God's Word at that point is gonna start flowing through your life through that situation and start accomplishing what it was set to do just like we read in the scripture prior that word will not come back if we agree with it and that's think of it this way so Jesus said all of these words father God said all these words so like all of these words are going so like theirs if you get out let's say like on in a place where there's many railroad tracks right so you're looking at hundreds and hundreds of railroad tracks and they're all going they're going to a certain direction and so if you so let's say if you get on the railroad tracks says that by His stripes I'm healed you get on that track and you and you agree with that track so that track is going to a destination and so in this case it would be to like his stripes your yield and so you're gonna go till you get to the destination to where you're healed but you have to stay on the track you have to stay in that word and you have to stay and agree with what he said and so since it's a healing seminar we're gonna talk a lot about healing but the same principles if you learn the principles of healing you can apply the same principles to every part of your life because God's freedom is to all parts of your life spirit soul and body so just the DHT conference we covered the body the healing but the same principle applies to all parts of you why because God's will is for us to be completely restored spirit soul and body not just partial but all three of us we see so many Christians they give their life to Jesus get saved God does his part their spirit gets really created they become a new creation in the spirit and then their life never changes they continue having the same problems they continue to you know be sick whatever issues they had before those issues continue why because people did not they were not even thought or were thought and chose not to follow the truth and not allow the Word of God to renew their mind because if you renew your mind your mind to the truth of the word of God then every part of your life gonna change and you're gonna start becoming more and more like Christ because the Bible says as he is so are we in this world right so God's will is for our life to start lining up into the image of Christ and that's a good place to be how many people here want to be like Jesus yeah that's a good place to be and I have good news for you God also wants you to be like Jesus so that is his will if we choose that path that's what we're gonna start going that's where we're gonna stand up and it's a good place to be but we have to agree that God's Word is truth it's his truth Your Word is truth and so sometimes what people do is they'll take a scripture out of context and just completely not apply it in the way what it's written and so what's important is that if we're not sure about a certain scripture we can't just take a theologians word for it we have to go to through the scriptures and allow other scripture to interpret that scripture that is key so many preachers they will take one scripture and make a doctor out of it and it's completely off it does not line up with the character of God it does not line up with everything that he's trying to accomplish it's not run through Christ because remember that all scripture everything has to run through the cross everything has to go through Jesus and so we see so many people take a certain part of the Bible and not apply it the way it's supposed to be applied and so one thing that really made me fall just really like what Currie Blake does is that when I was listening to him didn't ADHD or you know has any of his teachings the way he teaches is he'll take a scripture and now he'll take another scripture to explain it and another scripture to explain it and another scripture to explain it and there is not a lot of his opinion in it and that's how we supposed to be as preachers as teachers our job is to just present the scripture for how it is written and explained it by other scriptures and not by our opinion nobody should care about what my opinion is that doesn't matter the only thing that matters is what God said and if it could be backed up by another scripture and if it's in line through what he's trying to accomplish on this earth through Jesus Christ amen so his word should be rightly divided in context with two to three witnesses just way too many doctrines are built on one scripture it's really easy to get sidetracked okay so next scripture that we're gonna go to is Hebrews 11:3 where it says by faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the Word of God so how was this world created and framed by His Word so think about this that his word has creative power that's how powerful his word is so let's say if there's a problem in your life so what most likely happened is that the individual either knowingly or unknowingly allowed the enemy to destroy that part of the person's life right because the devil he's destructor he came to steal kill and destroy and so the enemy damages distorts messes up perverts I mean he does everything he can to just completely put everything into out of alignment of what God's will is for our life and then to get that restored what do we need we need God's Word right God's Word has the ability to create things to recreate things so if something in your life is damaged or destroyed if you start speaking God's Word over that situation over that life would it be your body or your marriage or you know finances wherever it is if you start speaking that everything will start changing we just read an article all of you guys heard that you know Kobe Bryant everybody knows Kobe Bryant right just recently you know passed away and so one of his best friends wrote a story or in an interview and he said that when Kobe was young when he was playing with him he constantly said that he will die early as a young player you know he had different struggles or whatever and so he kept saying is that I want to leave this earth early so he was saying that throughout his young life when he was younger and then you know when he got you know he retired many of his friends and people talked about that he became a different person he became a good person he became a mentor for a lot of people for a lot of other players like people really started to love him like you when he was younger not a lot of people liked him but now a lot of people really liked him and I don't know if he's a believer or not I don't know if he realized what he said but with his words he created his future and that's a whole different topic about what our words do but our words are very powerful so we need to make sure that the words that we're speaking over our life over our children or our future or our bodies is God's word because it will fix stuff it will recreate things it will make things in the right place it will make him the way they're supposed to be if we speak devil's words willed the devil's words be creative they'll be destructive they will destroy everything in your life I had a situation when before I started really understanding all of this stuff I had a good job and then but I was in the you know in the construction business and so all out of you know when the job starts coming to an end everybody starts saying like we're gonna get laid off we're gonna get laid off we're gonna get laid off and so I heard everybody say that and I started saying the same stuff I'm gonna get laid off I'm gonna get laid off I'm gonna lose my job I just kept saying that and kept saying that and then next thing I know my boss comes to me and says somebody else is gonna take your job and you're you know you're gonna get bummed down but somebody else is gonna take your job and I remember I walked out it was it was the day before weekend and I was walking to their car and I was so mad at God and at that time I just you know we just started working in our healing room and so I'm like God you know I'm doing all this stuff for you how dare you how did you how did I lose this job and the Holy Spirit spoke to me really clearly at that time he said you lost your job and he reminded me what I was saying and I realized what I was saying I repented and I said God I'm sorry I fell for it I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing I didn't understand what I was doing please forgive me he said do you want your job back I said yes and I will never say that again and so Monday morning I come back and the guy that took my job he's walking out and he's all upset he's like they want to see you go in there so I go in there and my boss is like who did you call over the weekend because our corporate office is in California who did you call I said I don't call anybody he said yes you did don't lie to me who did you call I said I didn't call anybody I said what's going on he's like well we got an email over the weekend when they submitted paperwork to bump me down and make this other guy take my job an email got replied and said no this guy is not gonna be bumped up Batali's gonna stay in his position and I went and I walked out of there and I rejoice because that was a miracle like I don't know anybody in a corporate office at that time I wasn't working for that company for too long but God did his miracle and I learned really quick not to say silly stuff for my life and so I got my job back and I've been with that company ever since and you know I just keep getting promoted why because I thank God for the job that I have and I agree with his word which is whatever I lay my hands - I will prosper and as I prosper they continue to promote me before I understood that I used words to destruct myself versus using God's word that creates things and so we have to understand that God's Word creates it changes the natural and the physical world so it not only does it change the physical world it also changes the spiritual world so let's go to Hebrew 4:12 so hebrews chapter 4 verse 12 it says where the word of God is living and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword piercing even to the division of soul and spirit and of joints and marrow and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart that's what God's Word will do if we allowed this word if we start speaking this word over our life we start speaking it just reading out loud what we encourage people to do is you take scriptures take the New Testament Scriptures and just start reading them out loud and start agreeing with them and as you're doing that his word starts penetrating everything inside of you and starts changing that's how your mind gets renewed why because the lies are getting destroyed and the truth starts forming and the truth is what sets us free right Bible says the truth will set you free well what is the truth we just read that this word is the truth it's the truth for everything in our life God's Word is always the truth devil is always a liar he can only tell a lie tell a lie and it's important for us to start discerning that so next scripture let's go to mark 16:20 yeah 16 sorry yep mark chapter 16 verse 20 so mark 16:20 it says and they went out and preached everywhere the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs Amen so when you start speaking the Word of God signs and wonders will follow you so how do you know whether or not you're preaching the Word of God you ask yourself the questions our signs & wonders following you or is destruction following you because in your life there's going to be two things either God's blessings signs and wonders are following you or everything's falling apart there's only two options there is no middle ground because if you look at your life it's either falling apart or is being restored and so if we start speaking God's Word to ourselves and to others and we speak the truth and agree with it and believe it signs and wonders will be accompanying us that's what Jesus said right there is no there's nothing around that there is no way to get around that so our job is to figure out what the truth is and start speaking it and continue speaking it continue standing on it continue believe in it until you see signs and wonderful in it and so just like we let it read earlier that God said that his word will not return void that scripture also backs this scripture up right so as you're speaking the truth as you're speaking God's Word preaching the gospel his word will not come back void that means whatever jesus promised signs and wonders restoration to your life it will follow there is no other option so don't settle for anything else stand on the truth we have a choice to make and we tried to make it very simple because what the enemy tries to do is he's trying to make things very complicated he's trying to bring in a lot of gray so the devil loves the gray color it's not a bad color it's a good color but in this application it's a bad color because what he's trying to do is he's trying to take what's black and what's white and mix him up when he does that at that point we become double minded and we cannot receive anything and we we think we're believing it we think we're agreeing with it things are not working out our life is falling apart you know we're getting sick getting attacked bad things are happening and then we're like God you know like why is it not working and then we start getting angry with God and start blaming God for what the enemy is doing so many Christians and I used to be one of those Christians before - before I understood this if something bad would happen I would blame God for it imagine how the enemy has deceived the church he comes around and kicks you and has you look at God and get angry at him while he's standing on the side here laughing he keeps kicking you and you're yelling and screaming angry at God God why did you allow this why are you doing this why is this happening to me that's how the enemy is able to deceive the body of Christ the Bible says that people perish for the lack of knowledge where is our knowledge where is our truth it's in the Word of God His Word is truth if we choose to agree with it if we choose to stand on it god guarantees that his word we'll come to pass every time he put it above his name he said it settled he said as the truth his work creates and his word does not return void and signs and wonders follow his word amen amen [Music]
