lord is worthy of our praise so let's pray father we just bless you and praise you we magnify you we exalt you we love you lord we thank you that you're the head of our lives heavenly father and we come for no other purpose but to serve you to worship you to magnify you we want to just thank you for all that you've done in our lives we recognize you as the head of our lives and we just want to so mass are not required but they are recommended in the house we want to congratulate a couple of our members sydney hall placed first place in the fourth kent county archery contest the intermediate com compound bow so congratulations sydney now we have another sydney sydney buckner she graduated from delaware state um and also wesley college with a bachelor's of science degree in nursing praise god so sydney cindy praise god for what the lord is doing in our young people we call them the anointed seed and as they grow older well you're still anointed just stay with the lord will be a ushers meeting next sunday right after service and saturday the um june 4th the women will have their training for reigning at six at eight a.m and it'll be virtual so not this saturday but the following saturday now for something great that the church is embarking on you know last year we did a week-long summer camp well this year we're doing a 10-week summer camp so this would be available for those um parents who need child care for their child during the summer we found out that all the summer camps fill up and people don't have anywhere to take their kids so we're venturing out amen having to jump through all the hoops with the state and all that type of stuff but we'll be starting our there's a flyer you can pick up if you or anyone you know is interested in it but it's going to be monday through friday june 13th through august 19th 7 30 a.m to 5 15 and the age of six to 12. registration fee is 30 and the weekly cost is one thirty dollar 130 dollars but discounts for additional siblings so we're gonna have lots of fun and you can call us for more information if you want a registration package we do have those available so this will be starting on june 13th so keep the church and teach teach is sponsoring this you know teaches our program as we outreach to the community so keep them lifted up as we go through this 10-week embarkment amen amen i also want to announce that thomas jenkins was out on the streets again on saturday he went out on uh lockham street i think it was lockerman street and he delivered sandwiches gave ice sandwiches to the homeless and all that came out and i think he fed 38 people praise god praise god thomas has a heart for the homeless and he's out doing it on behalf of the worship christian center and as he gets more um set up on how he wants to do it more people will be able to be involved so just keep him in prayer as he goes out to minister to those who seem to have no hope that seem to have no hope but he offers them jesus amen remember to send us your prayer requests and your praise reports we're still praying this is still a praying church and we not only want to pray with you we want to rejoice with you so send those into us when they happen so are you ready for the offering in deuteronomy 15 10 it says you shall give to him freely and your heart shall not be grudging when you give to him because for this the lord your god will bless you in all your work and then all that you undertake we're so thankful for your continuing giving of the of the ministry here so we can reach out and do the things that the lord is calling us to do whether pandemic or whatever we're still moving forward you as a church are still moving forward and we're still trying to meet the needs of the community in whatever way that we can of the year and then he called me last week he says um i want to go out saturday pastor i said it's the hottest day of the year so you know there's no show form of fashion and we just want to thank you publicly for all that you do thomas is going to be calling on other people in the church to do some things he's taking it very slowly he has a heart for the homeless and he's going to be calling you know the flying you've not heard thunder yet do you hear the thunder of the lord i'm telling you he's doing mighty things let me pray before i let me pray thank you god thank you jesus thank you lord god i bless your people all over the world lord thank you that this is a season for the christians to rise up and to walk with you and talk with you and spend time with you and hear divine downloads from heaven so that we can be in line with you and do what you're calling us to do pray for every church that's teaching and preaching the gospel of jesus christ pray for great increase in the body of christ father god thank you for those tuning in at home lord god thank you for those here lord bless those that are traveling that will be traveling we just call them for your glory right now and your angels to fight for us in the spiritual realm god cover us with the blood of jesus hallelujah thank you lord for your angels fighting for us in the spiritual realm thank you that your want to finish our four-part series we'll conclude that on building relationship with god and we taught on trusting god communicating with god and being committed with to god now we want to come with developing intimacy with god to close this out developing intimacy with god see glorifying god in developing a close relationship with him is his ultimate purpose for you that's why he died he wants to have an intimate personal relationship with you it's out of your intimacy with god that you'll grow and walk in christ and be successful in life and experiencing god's purpose for you people say they don't know what god wants them to do they don't know what he's called them to do he's called you to be intimate with him and he'll show you and lead you what you're supposed to do developing an intimate relationship with god opens you to receive the best that he has for you he'll show you and he'll lead you and guide you thomas jenkins and i talk and he says i'm taking my time he says god's showing me stuff he's downloading to him and that's what's happening god's leading you as you spend time with him he'll give you clear vision on what you're supposed to do and how you're supposed to do it how many know it takes time to develop an intimate relationship with god it takes time it just doesn't happen overnight see it's far too easy to become busy serving and singing and preaching and doing things in the ministry see none of these things are wrong in fact they're all good there's nothing wrong with that they're good but they're often a misguided attempt to create intimacy with god we think because we're working for god and with god that that's it but he wants and that's good but he wants you to be intimate with him he wants to share with you he wants to speak and whisper in your ear and tell you sweet things see god created us for supreme purpose of having a loving relationship with him he wants you just right there with him all the time see spending got time with god in prayer and bible study is called quiet time and that's what he wants to do he wants you just to shut it down just to relax just to steal yourself just to focus on him to have vision so that he can talk and speak to your heart the quiet time is alone time with god to expose your soul and your heart to god so that you can receive the truth from god this is a time when god will speak to you through his word he just every time you open his word he just wants to speak to you speak into your life with inspiration from the holy spirit he wants to refresh you anybody needs to be refreshed time from time he wants to revive you he wants to direct you in a way that opens you to receive from god why is why is that time so important because god desires three things from you three things god wants you to intimately know him as abba father daddy he just wants you to be able to crowd dad dad you know he just wants you to come back to the time when you were real young and you could just love on him as a child does his dad he just wants you to be with him and spend time with him he wants you to bear fruit he wants you to do supernatural things in the earth he wants you to explode in the earth and god wants you to experience his abundance his abundance love we know the scripture he came that you may have life and have it what more abundantly he wants you to have abundant life in every area of your life all three of god's desires for you are affected by your relationship with him it's affected by your relationship with him see the problem that you have and your response to those problems are ultimately determined by your relationship with him what do i mean your relationship with god grows out of your concept of who god is see some people think he's a judging god a judgmental god he's going to burn you up call down fire that's not it he wants a personal relationship with you if you look at him as having a personal relationship being active alive intervening caring and trust him then you will always come to him and you'll just release everything to him see the way you answer these questions affects how you develop a relationship with god and ultimately affects your daily walk with him see if you can trust god and you can honor god and you can love god and you believe the word of god and you're standing on the truth of god then you're in fellowship with him if you know he has the best for you and he cares for you and he wants you to prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers then you'll flow in the thing of god the things of god your quiet time with god provides vital time to build a relationship with him i think i've told you over and over again that probably 99 percent of the things that happen in this ministry is through my personal time with god through my prayer life with god through reading the word of god through our fasting with god he just downloads and that's what he wants you to do he wants you to line up so you can hear clearly what he's saying so he can lead and guide you in the truth and righteousness the more time i've learned this the more time you spend with god the easier life becomes the easier that comes when i get frustrated and aggravate and i'm running around god says hey son steal yourself calm yourself down he says just be still just be still and know that i'm god and after i'm just and then i calm down and i relax then he starts giving me vision and then spontaneity things start happening quickly and then when i start do i start journaling things down i start writing things and then i'm like okay god i see what you're doing i understand what you're doing i know what you're doing but if i'm running here running there and i'm frustrated and aggravated trying to figure out how we're going to do this and how the church is going to grow and how's my personal life going to grow and my grandchildren my children and people and how many you know you can get out of breath right quick but when you settle down and rest in god he always comes through always always as i told you the greatest desire you should be for you to develop an intimate relationship with god remember i told you early god created us for a supreme purpose of having a loving relationship with him your intimacy with god will form the most vital relationship in your life now once you to look at romans 12th chapter second verse niv look what it says look what it says do not be conformed any longer to the patterns of this world but be transformed by what renewing of what your mind then you will be able to test and prove what god's will is his good pleasing and what perfect will his perfect will look you have to understand god's already worked it out he just wants you to follow him as a follower of christ you shall never allow culture of the world to serve an excuse for not spending time with god and obeying his commandments look intimacy with god produces positive benefits your intimacy with god produces positive benefits that far outweigh the benefits that can be that you can do on your own see a lot of times we think we can work it out we think we're self-made we think we pulled ourselves up by our bootstraps see it's your relationship with god see the world can't do anything for you well it can it can give you trouble trials and tribulations huh but when you're walking with god you have the peace that passes all understanding see god's benefits are greater and better than anything you can imagine or ever think or desire in this world that's why in 3 john 2 it says beloved i pray that you may prosper in how many things all things and be in health just as your soul prospers god is a total god he wants you to have total peace total love he wants you to walk in him in total favor he wants to shower you with his blessings look and we don't serve god for the blessings right we serve god because he's king of kings and lord of lords and god of god look if he's never done anything else for any one of you how many you know he's already done enough huh he's sent his son down he's already done enough see understand this you've got to understand there's a better way to live and thrive in this life and god has abundantly supplied our needs through our relationship with him that's why the bible says it's in him that we live and move and have our being he just wants us to come on into that secret place come on into that quiet place with him see we can reap benefits beyond anything that anyone has to offer and the only way to live and thrive is to have an intimate relationship with god you're saying how can i have an intimate relationship with god number one is through prayer you've got to have a prayer life you've got to have a prayer life people i'm so proud of those who come on in the 6am prayer every tuesday morning and a lot of people come on and we never even seen some of the people there are people from different states but people know how important it is to get prayer and there are people who have to go to work so they'll just sign in and go to work and we'll pray for them we'll stay there if it takes all day because you understand and when you understand how important prayer is how it breaks the strongholds of the enemy you'll run into the presence of god you'll want to be there all the time look at iglation look at galatians second chapter 20th verse nine feet look what it says look what it says look what it says it says i've been crucified with christ and i no longer live but christ lives in me the life i live in the body i live by faith in the son of god who loved me and gave himself for me look prayer is your time to fully engage with god to cultivate to to live a crucified life you must envelop your life in prayer because when you go into prayer all that junk just falls off god to show you what to do and i want to give you the best way to fully engage in god in prayer and i want to use the acronym acts i'm going to use a-c-t-s the actual acronym acts i want to use that listen listen you might want to write this down act stands for adoration confession thanks and supplication adoration confession thanks and supplication i want to explain that to you this helps you to pray a balanced and perspective life listen the prayer life of most people seem to be heavily centered on asking instead of praying what god would have them to pray how many of you know that we spend 99 of time asking guys for something god can you bless me nothing wrong with that god can you heal me god can you give me can you give me can we give me see you want to begin with adoration adoration praising god for who he is and the gracie's bestowed upon you and his presence in your life that's why you oh and i'm going to give you a key right here when you're stuck and you don't know what to do start thanking god magnifying him glorifying him worshiping him exalting him come on raise your hands just love on the lord say lord i love you lord i magnify you i glorify you i adore you i exalt you i honor you see when you start doing that you know what you start opening up heaven you start breaking off things that's adoration you want to give god your adoration and next is confession this is critical for clearing away for god's work in you and through you you should prayerfully review the previous day and ask god to reveal to you any any indiscretions or misalignments because i believe his first john first chapter ninth verse says if you confess your sins he's faithful get just to forgive you of your sins and cleanse you from all unrighteousness how many know god already knows what you've done so you've got to go ahead and just confess it to god let god know it's a clear conscience that removes the roadblocks to work to god working in you and then the t is for thanks thank god for all he's done prayerfully review your previous days so you can allow god to show you he's working in your life you've got to learn how to thank god i mean in every situation give god thanks you've got to thank him god i thank you god i thank you that i'm still alive i thank you that i have a job i thank you that i have a house there are so many people that just don't have how many know americans are spoiled we're spoiled people i think i read something we throw away tons millions and millions of pounds of food every day see we have to start thanking god listen i've learned this when you thank god for the small things he starts opening up big things and i want to give you a key it's something that you want and you see that someone else has start thanking god for them start blessing god god i'm glad that they got a house i'm glad they got a new home start blessing god start honoring god and end with the s for supplication supplication is praying back what god has said asking him for the desires of your heart isaiah 43 26 says put god in remembrance how many know you can put god in remembrance put god in remembrance it's not that god's forgotten his word he already knows what he says but he wants us wants to make sure that you remember what he says when we go to god with his word it builds our faith it builds us up it shows that we're standing on his promises it shows that we're obedient because we love him and believe that he has the best for us and he wants the best for us and it's pleasing to him so you've got to just just go to god and just honor god pray god's word back to him and it won't return void see so many times i just lay before god and if i'm in a need i just pray his word back i said god you said in your word that you'll supply my needs according to your riches and glory by christ jesus god you said on the head not to tell above and not beneath you said i'm the lender and not the bower you just got to remind yourself it's not reminding god when you pray the word back it just opens up it just makes darkness dissipate it just gives you that clear vision in heaven it breaks down those strongholds in your life pray with everything you've got believing that god has already received it and walked through in your prayer with time being quiet and being still before god we have to learn how to be still how many you know that when you go into god and you're praying and talking to god he wants you to say time out i've heard you give me a time to speak how many you love just being in the company with ev with a certain person and they're talking all the time and what they say you can't get a word in edgewise because god that's the way it is with god we're telling god everything talking to god about everything we're just laying it all down and he wants us to but after that we need to back off be still and ask god god what do you want to say to me what do you want to speak to my heart god what would you have me to do god you have to have quiet time with god and jesus proved it and i want to show you mark first chapter 35th first look what it says this is very early in the morning why it was still dark jesus got up left the house went off to a solitary place where he prayed see jesus set the example in knowing god by always putting time aside always spending time early with god getting up early and i would suggest to get up early because a lot of times if you wait till noon how many you know the 50 000 things has bombarded you but if you can get up early and get some quiet time with god he'll start refreshing your soul the most important elements of your quiet times are to commune with god to get to know him and hear what he's saying invite god in let the anointing of god flood your soul let him just wash you let him just lead your day and guide you i've learned it when i get up and i spend some time with god and i said okay lord what do you want me to do life is easier but when i get up and start hit the ground running and next thing i know i'm all agitated but when i slow myself down i can hear from god invite god to anoint and be a part of your time with him look at first john 5th chapter 14 through the 15th verse look what it says this is the confidence that we have in approaching god that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us and if we know that he hears us whatever we ask we know that we have what we ask of him we know that see god's going to align things up that you need according to his word that's one reason why we pray his word back to him expect god to be present in your quiet time expect god to impart something into you this is not a time of routine but a time of the presence of the almighty god the maker of heaven and earth trust god to do supernatural things in your white life see and the thing is that i've learned you've got to be expected you've got to expect god to do some things a lot of times we just pray pray pray but you ought to live a life of expectancy i believe god to do supernatural things not just in this ministry not just in your life but in the body of christ how many believe that god can still heal and still deliver still break strongholds off still bring your loved ones in huh how many believe god can still do it how many believe god can still change this earth see you've got us you've got to expect god to do some things so many times we'll pray and say well what am i going to do now uh uh you've got to stand on the promises of god see god's the same today yesterday and forevermore you may not see it today you may not see it tomorrow you may not see it next week you may not see it for a year but i'm still standing and holding on to promises that god said and things that he's spoken into my heart and every once in a while i have to go back and look at the journal god promised me that there's not going to be just integration in the worship christian center he said great integration so i'm calling white spanish asians indians i'm calling in people from north east south and west because god says so and i'm standing on the promises of god i know what he said about this ministry i know that he said about that property when i was out there praying on the property god says no he says there's going to be millions of people getting saved there he says there's going to be worldwide people coming in with worldwide abilities he said worldwide people i'm talking about pastors he said there's going to be singers musicians i'm standing on it i'm believing what god says i know what god has spoken over this ministry i know what he's spoken over my life and i'm standing in agreement how many of you believe god's word how many of you how many noted it's going to come to pass the thing is you can't listen to what the enemy's saying can i teach you something today can i teach you something there's three voices speaking to you probably know it number one is what self yourself speaking to you what's the second voice the devil and what's the third voice oh you are so smart i give you an a you must went to bible college see i'm telling you you got to recognize those voices you've got to put those voices in the category the enemy comes at what steal kill and what destroy so you know he's going to give you nothing but negativity and sometimes our flesh gets in the way but you know the voice of god you know god wants you to have the best so you have to stand on the promises of god believe what god's saying and always walk with god he's going to do what he says he's going to do he said heaven and earth may pass away but he said my word would never fail that's why you have to stand on the word of god you have to believe it but you have to come in and be intimate with him to know what he's saying look at psalms 50 15 look what it says look what god says he says and call upon me in a day of trouble and i'll deliver you and you will honor me see god wants you to call on him he wants you to walk with him and talk with him he wants you just to be right there all the time expect god to be quiet be there in your quiet time expect god to impart into you i look for revelation wisdom knowledge understanding i look for god to break those strongholds off my life you know sometimes we think okay holy spirit you got me here sometimes we think that we've arrived in some places and god has to remind us that we're not there yet i was traveling yesterday and and you know when the fire engines come and everything comes and you're supposed to pull off the road well i was in the passing lane there was no place to pull and and i was in my prayer time but the enemy can sneak in just like that i was in my prayer time and all of a sudden i couldn't move and finally i got off the road and then the gentleman who was in the passenger seat looked at me gave me a mean look my first reaction was like the holy spirit said whoa pulled you right down see we've none of us have arrived yet how many oh you're looking at me like you're holy none of us arrived yet can i get amen thank you jesus they trying to act like they got together look at me like you pastor ow that's still flesh isn't it huh i still gotta pray too i still gotta go in so i said okay god and god showed me he said see son you're not there yet he said you've got to stay with me and continue to be intimate if i had to spend time with god i may have said pull that ambulance over we'll see but see you've got to be washed in the word you got to be into the throne room of god you got to spend time with god you got to walk with him and talk with him all the time listen people be expectant know that god is the king of king and lord of lord and god of gods and he wants to refresh you that's why in james fourth chapter eighth verse is it up there read it with me what's this say draw near to god and he'll draw near to you read it again draw near to god and he'll draw near to you that's what he wants us to do god wants us in a loving relationship with him to know who he is to believe in him to be close to him and his desires he wants to give you the desires of your heart god wants you to know him intimately and personally look as you build your relationship with god trust him have faith in him he'll reward you he'll give you that spiritual strength that love that peace that knowledge that understanding i want to close with this last verse i want to close with this last verse look at this this last scripture ephesians first chapter 17-18 verse look what it says that the god of our lord jesus christ the father of glory may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him look what he says the eyes of your understanding being lightened that you may know what is the hope of his calling what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance and the saints understand this god wants us god wants to open the eyes of our heart granting us the spirit of wisdom and revelation as we read his word look god will not force himself on anyone who is not opening their life to him he's not going to force his way on you he's a gentleman i want to give you three things listen we generally will not speak in tongues until we offer our mouths to god we probably will not receive the words of wisdom and knowledge until we offer our minds to god we normally will not receive vision until we open our eyes of our heart to god see god is moving in supernatural ways he's doing supernatural things i really believe with all my heart that time is sped up god is doing supernatural things i really believe that this is a season right now right now where god is speaking to the body of christ because everything is happening everything is going wrong the world is crazy but god is speaking to those who want to have an intimate relationship with him so that he can lead and guide you and show you what you're supposed to do god wants a personal relationship you to build he wants you to build that relationship with him by trusting him communicate with him committing him and as he does supernatural things in your life i want you to stand on your feet right now if you would please as i close this out i want you just to stand on your feet i want you just to close your eyes i want you to look to jesus the author and the finisher of your faith i want you just to focus on jesus for a minute i want your ears in tune and your heart and tune to him as i pray and i'm asking god for wisdom and knowledge and revelation for each and every one of you as we go through this time period of this next season about to come that you won't miss the things that god has for you he wants to align you refine you define you show you what's going on he wants to give you peace that passes all understanding in the midst of trials and troubles and tribulations he still wants you to be victorious father god i pray for your people that are tuning in now via facebook youtube whatever social media device they're using i pray for those that are here now lord god and those are watching and i ask right now father god did you bring us into a closer closer walk with you the only way that we're going to get through is having a closer relationship with you the only way that strongholds are going to be broken is building a relationship against all those strongholds that are attacking your people lord god sickness seems to be released in the body of christ but the devil is a liar we counsel that right now we counsel the plans of the enemy we just come against that heart problem that back problem arthritis we come against diabetes father god high blood pressure low blood pressure lord god we come against any sickness of heart kidneys father god we counsel the plans of knees backs lord god whatever it may be we release it to you father god and we tell satan to go to a warmer place right now in the name of jesus we thank you for who you are father god and what you're doing we thank you for your glory we ask you to renew our minds father god keep our mind stayed on you lord god we counsel those negative things that come in lord god to doubt in the worry and the fear god's not going to do it he can't do it the devil is a liar because it's already done you're already walking in victory you already have healing you already delivered i thank you father god for kidneys acting right heart acting right lungs father god we come against every sickness lord god thank you right now father god that you have given us peace that passes all understanding lord god thank you that we know who we are in you father god thank you for victory lord god in the earth and i thank you that every apostle prophet evangelist pastor teacher every saint every child of the most high god will live victoriously in the earth and be representatives that others may know who you are we come against slander accusations misrepresentation and character assassination right now in the name of jesus thank you father god and no weapon formed against us will prosper thank you for who you are and what you're doing lord god i release your glory
