Desert Survival Day 4 | Starsand | Part 4

thank you so much for joining this game edge we  are back in star sand we left off last episode   where we found a new location plus some goodies  over there and some ancient structures or some   rocks and stuff here and i even have a logs and  stuff on us from last time we have some badges too   again i would love to catch a couple animals so we  can make our way through this and not have to deal   with all this crap but it seems like it's still  an issue uh can we craft up even more weapons   and stuff maybe that's our best bet no more  rocks we can do that though and maybe some view   more stones too so let's get rid of this for now  hopefully it stays thank you don't blow away cloth   please don't blow away i don't think we're gonna  go a little further we only have 30 minutes left   i can't sit here and do nothing there was some  mangoes right up here i want to test those out oh my lordy pick up your cloth oh why did my little bag goes what did i pick  up anyways i picked up something else rocks   and filled me up okay so yeah let's let's make  ourselves a few more of you i'm liking those   spears they seem to have done a really good job  good to aim to a little bit easier in the arrows   on taking care of these guys at least  i think it does is it good let's just   do one more this way we'll have some space  too right we can pick up a couple more rocks i know i saw some over there so that creature is  gonna be coming out at us very shortly i really   don't have to deal with it my out of room oh it's  five max ah crap really ah balls all right well we can uh chop these up we only need two of them oh crap i  need still this these things though   [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] there's always something  do you need in this game i swear to god and   the room is so much needed  oh concoction there it is   a slimy mixture of cooked and consumed we need  to coconut pulp in it oh there's a venomous sac all right i guess that's something you can eat  if you want to that's something that turns you on all right god it's running out of room we gotta  move on this thing's gonna pop out very shortly all right well no we have enough i'm gonna go before it turns uh too late there we  go put this on the ground for a second grab you   and we're gonna craft you up another bandage something something was near  me got my metal ingot there and i still can't pick these  because i have things on me okay consume pretty okay 17 is 24 not bad oh he's here [ __ ] he's here okay yeah spears are the way to go screw  the arrows uh the other spear is underneath   them so that solves that problem about me  and having problems with spears and stuff   right there's more stuff here obviously  probably some armor and stuff we can use   okay and my cloth too which i left behind  here crap i'm gonna need somewhere to save   so i'm gonna need some of those right correct  is two logs the only thing we're gonna need ah man i'm gonna eat all this stuff dude so that's  so we're gonna have to just let it be for today and go up to next level at least we're killing off these things   there's the ore oh clay deposits  we're going to use those to make stuff   should we just continue afterwards i should  probably make something here and get it over   with okay i want to explore but i also want to try  the clay and other things we have like 29 minutes   left so at this point i said script we're gonna  just make our structure here we need two logs   can i grab two already three of them now what the  hell i had more enough dude craft that baby up   and actually goes a little bit over room we  also have our coconuts here too i'm not sure   how much they get stacked at 17 with them  pretty darn good we got ourselves another   one of these little buggers here i thought  we had some leather right here too yeah we do oh i'm so sure that second one hit him gotcha grab you grab you i can find one more of those  little buggers make yourself a bigger backpack   then i can stop complaining about this for  a few oh i thought i heard another rumbling   i was like no we can't do this anymore  all right we're gonna put it right here okay and i don't think enough rocks and stuff but  i can grab this and make yourself a little fire if   we can how much rocks do i need for the fire again  we need two more rocks i think i saw them here there's one there there might be nodes too  over there i'm not positive   just gonna try and grab what i can from here  there's some more of those desert fruits   i can make yourself another bandage but  if we had okay we're missing some stuff   that there we go perfect let's craft up the fire  with two rocks and sticks damn it always something give me a sticks excuse me thank you craft and how much are we gonna need for this   eight clay ore to throw down some stuff because  i can't carry everything at least for the fire   i'll be able to put the meat in there and give us  something we still need to make the backpack we   could make ourselves another one of these with  leather too uh which you know canteen wouldn't   hurt there's an antidote to with a scorpion  and the desert fruit in case we get ourselves   poisoned sounds good to know right yes  it is all right let's make that fire so every one of those  rumblings are dangerous as heck   okay and we'll grab one of  you okay some more rocks food this is log right okay let's make sure if probably chop down a few more trees  and stuff it sounds like they're fish   in the water but i don't see any uh  what do we have here regular palm yeah 26 minutes left and i'm  under the gun here to get yourself   settled down for tonight at least we killed them  all i haven't used a bandage yet i figure if you   got multiple those though probably nasty as heck  and i have a fifth one there that's right i forgot i was thinking space-wise okay so we have some palm fronds  there we have our fire right here i'm going to keep cooking that meat we're going  to eat some stuff and i think i have some more   mangoes right here which again are giving us back  hungry they don't give us thirst back do they no now fill ourselves up what else we have around here anything else no  all right let's start harvesting up the clay   i thought i saw um we only have  one clay area it's really strange   i thought i'd be able to find more  in one area to get some clay but   we'll see if this gives us at least eight that'd  be great looks like a sandstorm coming too that's five it's just one here too not positive it is okay so we got five of those okay so craft this baby up i'm not exactly sure we're gonna  use it for we need to know it's four   of or baking clay must be placed  in the pot i just want to make it   because again time is not on my side no  it isn't i do have a metal ingot there that's where you didn't get i don't  have an oar is there ores around here   i don't know about that room yet  maybe there's an aura around here just drink this dirty water it's fantastic  tons of animal feces and many other things moz let's see if that's made out of  something another clay deposit right here   i guess you can make the other one too like i don't know where i'm supposed to go  next that's the whole thing i really don't you know what um consume that and go back and finish up okay how you doing you you doing okay good and  i'm gonna need to craft up something else   but not to drop something inventory  first this needs to go this is huge arrow keys those arrow keys for this  one okay not a big fan of arrow keys i think we get some sleep that we can wake up  in the morning and see all this wonderfulness   okay i'm gonna craft up this we got a couple stones and stuff that's good   that's gonna take some about 20 minutes  so 20 seconds 20 minutes hopefully not i still need a couple more of you plus some  cordage okay i'm not sure if the body stayed   around after i killed it does it stick around or  does this disappear right yeah so good to know   don't leave it out there too long  all right and we got the mortar and the mortar is right here again i think that's   to make the poison stuff we might  have to stand right on top of it   all right let's get ourselves some sleep for  the night we'll take our logs back if we can and we'll see what happens here good night's sleep  all right we sleep tonight with this smoothless   dreamless sleep as for them so that's i know  that's good i guess that's good i mean it was   a bad dream right that's a good thing all  right they got a crapload of coconuts on me   too it's killing me all right let's  see what we can do with this thing now i'm pretty sure this is not what i'm doing  this is what the outcome of this is right but i'm   curious to see if there's anything else we can do  like this is leather where's the wood right here   fuel input god that's really loud yeah make sure it is there's clay ore that's going in here i can't put rocks hmm what's that going to give me now i wonder this should be pretty darn interesting clay bricks ah there we go so we can make  ourselves quite a bit of goodies here pretty   nice like why is it two minutes it seems like  it just i just i just started again can't be two   minutes left the dream sequence costs you time too  oh my god it could be a shorter episode i thought   but it's all good all right so we have that done  we don't know what the mortar is left left too i really want to make some cloth and other things logs and palm frond okay we have palm fronds   and we have logs we're burning  right now for no reasons try that bed out yeah i don't know what the  hell do that thing get anyways right now   only have a minute left i know i put  some out here there goes some palm fronds good stuff they survive for we survived d4  look at us building all right craft you up crap   no time to waste i'm under the gun i feel  like icarus when i'm at the finish up all   this stuff just drives me at the wall how  fast i have to maneuver okay so i took up   a lot of the resources we'll grab that back  you should drop it into my hotbar i could be   able to drop off a bed i'm figuring anywhere  i can do it i want to see if the easy save   place probably should do as a quick save here  in case maybe i'll let me go longer than one   minute this is gonna be the end now holy  balls hurry up is it finished crafting yet did it steal my bed or no there it is okay now you could sleep there too you don't  even need to make the other one i'm not   sure which one's less expensive to make but  let's check it out afterwards again no time   for that but yeah guess we're going to leave  it here 26 seconds left try my best to make a   second episode fully completely but i guess we  will we'll look at a couple things we can do   we can also make ourselves clay there's different  areas we can go and grab some stuff it looks super   cool i'm very very excited again i would love to  make a bigger backpack i want to be able to craft   up all the other stuff uh that they have here  and i'm also curious to see what they're going   to be adding on launch and afterwards also this  is good to know but without that bigger backpack   definitely a struggle so i'll probably stay in the  first day on the other side the desert claimed you   that has bull nuggets all right so unfortunately  that is the end by the way i'm not sure if i   mentioned to you but you can play it two different  ways you can play relax without the creepy aliens   which there we go it just tells us hunting you  down more forgiving elements and conditions   so if you want you can play it that way with  this game again it comes out november 4th on   steam i'll put a link in the description field  of course all games i play it's very curious to   go and test this out and see how far we can  make it uh so far i've learned a few things   including staying at the first place as long as we  possibly can and then uh getting ourselves really   updated with a lot of animals and stuff maybe  get some hunting done and then get ourselves   the biggest backpack you can then we can head  to the second location where you get the uh   the area where you can get all those nice little  artifacts and stuff so i can't wait to test it   out can't wait for this to be unlocked again  thank you all for being here really appreciate   if you guys are
