[Music] i can see you're getting a bit upset i'm sorry but until unless i understand what is going on i would not be able to help either you or your family members so if you could just tell me what's going on maybe i would be able to help [Music] [Music] okay so she has never explicitly said that uh i mean is it that during the conversation she said something of that sort but if you have never talked with this girl how do you know that she loves you um [Music] okay so you're saying that she has done letters and in those letters she said [Music] yeah uh so are you saying that the letters never reached you watching me so so mr sharma i'm sorry to ask you this please don't get upset but if the letters never reached you how do you know that she wrote any letter at the first place so how do you know how did you get to know that she's in love with you [Music] foreign did she ever give you some signal which [Music] received anything and she has never said you anything she never said anything to you in the balcony from the balcony is it possible that this idea that she loves you is not true i mean is there any possibility that this [Music] foreign [Music] [Music] um [Music] and she said that she does not even know you and you are saying that you have never received any call from her you have never talked with her you have never had any form of communication whatsoever is there any possibility that what you are thinking is not true this is what only your thought this is not there for real is there any possibility so this was a presentation of a patient with delusional disorder in this case delusion of love and as you know in delusion basically there is a false belief it's a false belief which is firm fixed and unshakable which means that the patient continues to believe in that despite evidence to the contrary and the belief is not explained by the social educational and cultural background of the person in this case the patient believes that the girl is in love with him despite having no communication whatsoever with her ever and despite the fact that the girl clearly says that she does not even know him but patient is insisting that she's in love with her with him and when i try to give him reasons that she might not be in love with him the patient got angry the patient got upset but continued to insist that the girl is in fact in love with him this is how patients with delusional disorder present thank you you
