[Applause] [Music] [Applause] hi guys we're back at smash fishing we got another absolutely stunner of a day we got a 0.4 tide one of the lowest tides of the year and we're going to go out after the lobsters and almost i've got my hook i think cows down here somewhere so we might meet up with him after and hopefully we can find a few creatures stay tuned it's smash fishing baby you can see how how fast that tide's going out it's the thing with this place it just goes out like no tomorrow you see the current it's mental but that's what you want for lobster fishing that's for sure because they'll be stuck up in the holes won't be able to taste the tide out and we come along and stick them on the barbie really is a beautiful day today again it's really hot there's quite a few lads out as well it's nice to see this spot has been a bit hammered for the abalone so i'm mainly going to be uh crooked in the rocks just to see if we can scrounge a few but our main our main thing to try and find is a nice big lobster that'd be nice one little one there guys definitely not in so we get her back carefully ready for another day first lobster of the day oh this one's gonna be close lobster gauge oh look about three mil out that was unlucky nice-sized lobster there though i could feel him kick it around in the hole what a beast nice to find hopefully we can find a few more not finding many lobsters at all at the moment all of the usual holes are completely empty or got a small one under so what i'm going to do is i'm going to make my way to cow now he's on the whole opposite side of the beach hopefully we have a bit more luck there and what we'll do is we'll start cracking in the rocks and hopefully find some abalone first warmer of the day just as i turn the camera off i find one what a beauty there we go lovely size armor there armor gauge look at that in an absolute mile is there any more i can't see any more happy with that we're on a start check this one out guys look at the size of that it's a massive blue starfish that thing's an absolute beast there's no warmers under there that's trying to eat really cool though these are all just different shellfish almost uh scallops anything really and what they do is they bring it into here they start working their way into the shell found him guys it came out the back of the hole not a lobster little baby male 1 oh when i first seen him i thought that might have been a keeper but hey lobster's a lobster nice meeting you buddy you can stay in there now nice size alma there guys happy days i've come all the way up towards where cows should be now so uh hopefully we start finding a few bit few more bits we found cow guys after a long lost mission yes 87 mil for a lobster yeah so uh that'd be close that yeah i mean it looks fairly small but no it's got a long shell on it i'm too sure the claws came off when i was getting it out okay guys carl's found a lobster no she's just out yeah that's all good though mate big lobster guys check that one out oh she's a softie ah what is it with me and finding soft lobsters at the moment look at that that's a beast come here check that one out guys that was just walking along the seabed there what a beast that's a shameless shame as soft hopefully we can find a decent one so there you go guys big soft lobster i'm just going to leave it down there to do its thing it's hard to be up soon enough got a beauty there guys just lifted up a giant rock there's a nice one happy days another one down carl's killing it he's just found two in the last five seconds yeah well done check this out guys just walking along here and i can see the dog out hole yeah there we go look at that for a lobster that's a beauty no eggs whatsoever that one is going in the cook pot wow shall i say the barbecue it's solid as well that's a beast they made happy days that's what we come for we don't want no squidgy lobsters we want the hard ones get in my bag e beauty there we go guys that is a solid lobster it's got loads of barnacles on it and what i've got is some lobster bands because uh i don't fancy getting a horse bite on the back of my leg today all right let's get over here there we go one down and i've lost the other band there we go all you want to do is just give them a little stretch first and you can just get the claw close her up so that's trying to pinch me with the other claw but she's got no chance there we go that's a perfect eating lobster that ideal size for the barbecue we're going to be eating good because i'm starving beauty let's go get some more that there is what you call a normal rock guys five armors and i believe i got two two keepers look at that bad boy one there just get this one off and jobs are good and two almost down three on the rock and we're good to go see if i can pop it out there we go that's a beauty right there right in the crack of the rocks it's the thing about this spot most of the armors are right in the cracks it's a lovely size armor oh chicken big boy look at that one lovely job starting to find a few now now we change spots lovely job another warmer down we're on a little roll at the moment that's a little beauty it's gotta be in that one there you go beautiful another one down just running my hand along the bottom of the rock there the ledge is quite deep it's best to go underneath it and just see if there's any more cows just found the scallop guys whoa what do you reckon it is about four inches roughly that's probably a keeper then happy days mate nice one i just found my scallop as well here guys look at that little beauty down there there we go another scallop down cow yeah another scallop but keep that in the bags for now you're gonna keep flapping mate nope nice hopefully we can find a few more there we go guys look at that another one down certainly starting to find them trying to get the bag full common venus clam there guys nice to see we don't want them none of them we've got too much food to keep stuff like that anyone got any ideas what that is it looks like a naughty branch i haven't got a clue what that is creepy looking thing as well get him out of the sun if anyone knows leave it in the comments i'd be interested to know that there we go there you go mate that was your hole it almost looks blue yeah is it soft or is it oh it looks quite solid she in size though it looks similar to the last one yeah mate i'm not putting my hands near that nice oh that's bang on bang on the money happy days mate nice that is bang on the money my my gauge is 90 mil the legal size is 87. [Laughter] happy days mate you got yourself a lobster only right to get bitten by your first orange there's a scallop guys kyle's gonna take them for tea i'm just happy with my lobster he's got a nice old cook up to do there beautiful nice we're just working our way up the beach now and we're just gonna go into a few lobster holes on the way and hopefully we can we can strut gold with a nine pound lobster but if not we're gonna go cook that but little baby alma there it's half on the rock and there's two others just next to it check this out guys ha ha little baby mail i could feel him fighting the hook when i was uh someone was in the back there and he just shot out perfect conditioned little lobster that you could tell it's just molted it's quite it's quite a pale color but nice to see nonetheless back home you go buddy back up the beach a bit now guys and we're just going to measure our armors we always like to make sure that they're perfectly in that lobster that's a lovely lobster that one it's been a good stamp though they're not exactly small either the almost yep that one's in i think they're all in that one's in that's the smallest one i got and that one's in about five mil so perfect four eight i've got ten almers and one lobster that's not bad going happy days at my dad's house guys he's got his almost all prepped to go smash the bits he's got his frying pan nice nice tea to come he's got some nice big chips there that's what he's having them for we're just going to get some boiling water in the pot i was going to cook down the beach but i'm absolutely exhausted today so i'm going to boil it up i'm going to have it for breakfast tomorrow what i've got here guys i'm going to try the zanaran's crab and shrimp boil i'm gonna try it with a uh with a lobster so i get that all boiling up nicely i get our lobster in this tastes delicious with the crabs last time so hopefully it tastes good with the lobster as always i've dispatched this lobster which is the cross on the top of the head there you go straight down and then towards the head and that dispatches it this was a lovely lobster you see how solid it was by the barnacles that both claws were an absolute perfect lobster to eat delicious that's smelling good that's all around definitely smells better this time it's not burning my nose i only put a drop in this time uh definitely don't put half the bottle with your cooking crustaceans what i did is i saved a bit of this for when uh i've come out with sam and uh i let him try a bit of this because this is absolutely delicious so thank you to the subscriber that actually sent this to me this was really nice back in the kitchen now guys we've got our lobster there and what we're going to do today is do a nice lobster baguette so what i'm going to do is i'm going to get my baguette in the oven and we're gonna quickly pick this lobster and prep it for a nice tasty meal [Applause] time that lovely chunk of meat there you beauty so what i'm going to do is i'm just going to pick these out now and then we'll get it all ready for the baguette so what we're doing with this now we're just going to start breaking it apart without eating any i'm so tempted to take a few mouthfuls i must admit just make sure there's no none of the little feathers there and with the tail meat as you can see i've taken out the poo track literally you can just pull it all apart a bit like pulled pork just put it all into nice bite-sized chunks really that's what you're aiming for just like so beautiful we got all of that fresh lobster meat there that's gonna fill up a whole bag [Applause] delicious got our baguette here guys still really hot oh yeah lovely and fresh you can cook your baguette how you like i like mine quite soft on the outside of a little crunch and all i'm gonna do is get some fresh butter got a good dose of butter there get that in the baguette it's the thing with the guernsey butter it's uh it's quite solid so you need to let it melt a little bit and this will soften the bag up bag it up give it that extra bit of moisture lovely job then what we've got here is our fresh lobster just grab a giant handful and chuck it in there no messing that is one hand of a giant lobster bag check that out they'll be rude not to go for a better sweet chili sauce get that clog straight over the top look at that oh that looks amazing so you have it guys one fresh lobster baguette with sweet chili sauce i'm gonna sit down and we're gonna munch the hell out of this i've been looking forward to this i can tell you that much guys fresh lobster in there it's only cooked yesterday i've only just finished a razor clam cook as well you can see how much meat's in it that is um perfect bit of crunch with the baguette i apologize but it's well needed our lobsters cooked perfectly as well i only left it i only boiled it for six minutes i only bought it for six minutes and uh and then took it straight out and i just left it on the counter to cool down that was perfect oh you can see why the french love the baguettes right you could put anything in them really that was a quacking little trip though nice to meet up with cow again and he had his first forage lobster and he got pinched by it it wasn't stitches because of that but um yeah it was great little forage we found a couple of scallops as well a few warmers all in all it's a good day that is worth saving the lobster for oh also if you want to check out uh cal's channel i'll leave a link in the description guys and uh he makes some great
