[Deeper Network] Staking Tutorial for DPR Mining

hey what's up people this is toriel sultan welcome back to this video here i am today with another deeper network tutorial specifically i'm going to show you how to convert other tokens to dpr token on metamask and we're going to stake dpr token to unlock a mining feature on our deeper network devices i would say the steps are straightforward and a little technical so make sure you follow through the entire video to the end and if you have any questions drop them below and i'll do my very best to help you out without further ado guys let's get into it [Music] so first thing first therefore preparation you need to do number one if you don't have a metamask or wallet we're going to grab a metamask wallet if you don't know what metamask is metamask is an ethereum hot wallet you're going to install this to your browser as a browser extension number two depends on how much you want to stake i strongly recommend you to have some ethereum and i'll show you guys how to get those if you don't have any however if you do have a metamask and ethereum on hand go through the time code in the description you want to jump to the next segment of this video so we can pick up the progress from there first and foremost you can google metamask or come to metamask.io if you haven't downloaded in your browser you want to click on download it's going to direct you to chrome web store and add to chrome and you can see it will install this extension to my browser and you want to click on this top right corner icon and you want to click on this little pin and so it will show up on your browser and now first time log in here you want to get a new wallet if you already have a wallet it's all good if you don't you want to click on the second option says yes let's set it up the next window you can say either no thanks or i agree and the next step is going to be creating a password so this is a password we're going to log into our math mask just in case sometimes you close your browser or restart your computer this is the password that's going to unlock our metamask once you enter the password make sure you check the terms and agreement and click on create metamask is going to generate a secret backup phrase for you this is about 12 word freeze this is one of the most important thing you want to remember so there are a few options right number one write it down on a piece of paper and hide it somewhere in your home however paper is not fireproof you can also do a screenshot make sure you don't store it on the cloud you can store it on a thumb drive and make sure the thumb drive is encrypted with a password no one else can open this thumb drive but you you want to click on revealed secret word and also remember this is just for demonstration purpose okay this is a fake wallet i created make sure you don't share this to people anyone has this 12 word will be able to log into your meta mask and extract tokens so i can't emphasize enough this is one of the most important part once you did the screenshot click on next and now what you want to do is you want to reorder these 12 word by the correct order once you're done with that congratulations your meta mask is all set now you can see top right corner click on meta mask so this is your erc20 metamask wallet address second really important thing is you want to load some ease now question is where do you want to buy some ease you can buy ease from exchange such as binance or coinbase any one of your preference so you can go in there use your credit card or your bank information you can buy some ethereum and just give you a little clue of how much ethereum you might need so i made a deeper network mining calculator here really depends on where you want to be in terms of the credit score so if you want to go higher credit score such as 5 to 6 or 700 credits in here what happened is you want to stick a more dpr token to reach that high of a score however if you just want to basically unlock your miner you can stick 1000 dpr token this will put your miner on the blockchain and it will give you a credit score of zero however you are not going to earn anything unless you reach credit score of 100 so if you want to fast forward your progress i recommend you to start with a level one first to stick around 5 000 dpr tokens later on you will see that actual staking is not 5 000 or sticking 6 thousand it's a one thousand plus five thousand one thousand is to put your miner on the chin and five thousand is to get 100 credit score so this way we'll be able to earn about 2.74 dpr token a day and that's equivalent of 82 dpr token a month right now one of my miner is set to level three so i'm mining around 19 dpr token a day so that's equivalent of 575 dpr a month also keep this in mind that you don't have to just go to the higher level right off the bat you can also start with a level one first and later on when you decide to stick some more you always have the option to level up it's not like a one-time only thing you can always level up if you want by staking more dpr tokens also i want to give you a little hint here is that you don't want to wait for dpr token to go up you definitely want to stake while dpr token is cheap imagine this price goes up then it's going to require you more to stick dpr token if you want to go with a level one you'll need around a thousand dollars however you don't want to go exactly eight hundred dollars in this case you always want to have a few hundred dollars more because we're going to pay gas fee depends on the time of the day sometimes gas fee can be like up to 150 dollars so you always want to have a little bit more just in case you want to cover the gas fee so what you simply want to do is go to exchange get ethereum and you want to send ethereum on erc20 network to your metamask simply open metamask and you want to copy this address and this is going to copy to your clipboard and now you can paste this address to your exchange once you're done with that you should see some ethereum balance on your metamask now right before we swap the ethereum to dpr token you want to come to device.deeper.network the link is in the description make sure you go through the description there are lots of useful links in there okay so first thing we want to do is we want to have a basic mining registration i prefer email honestly because your phone number sometimes will change and so forth so i want to go with the email first time here you don't want to sign in you want to click on sign up it will load up this form in front of you so you want to enter your email in the first field an image code and a verification code we're going to do these two steps at the end so jump straight to password you want to put on a solid password and confirm your password by entering again and you are say 20 wallet address this is our metamask wallet so simply click on your meta mask click on copy to clipboard so this way the address has been copied and you want to paste to the erc20 address field to register the login code this code is on your deeper network dashboard login page right on the login page you're going to see their siri of code you'll want to copy this code and paste it to this field second field we want to enter is a register serial number in order to grab the serial number you want to log into your deeper network underneath device you're going to see system so on the left hand side you're going to see this sn number that stands for serial number and you want to copy that number and paste it to the last field and last but not least you want to enter image code and also click on send so this will send a verification code to your email so you want to enter this exact email verification code once you've done all this step click on submit and now you have completed the mining registration and it will bring you back to the login page and now you want to use the email and password you entered earlier and you want to log in here to complete the entire registration so first time log in here you might see a pop-up window says you need to create a deeper chain wallet first so if you don't have a deeper chain wallet you could just click on confirm to create a wallet simply click on this button says create wallet it will show you a pop-up window just like the mad max 12 word backup phrase you want to keep these words really secure two things i recommend you to do is number one write it down on a piece of paper number two you can screenshot this and save that screenshot on your thumb drive and number three you can download a private key and also store this txt file into the thumb drive and make sure your thumb drive is encrypted so this way if you lost it nobody else is able to log into that thumb drive right make sure you don't store this on the cloud or somewhere just in case you get hacked one day and all these private keys will be exposed i can't emphasize enough that every day people lost these keys and they lost all their assets so you don't want to be one of them so you want to keep these words privately and safe and make sure it's waterproof make sure it's fireproof so there's many other methods you can do make sure you search them up online and you can see 12 words have been generated i clicked on the download private key once you're done with that click on the green button says i wrote down the phrase now you want to click on these words one by one by the correct order basically you have a registered a on chain dpr wallet once you have done with that you should be able to see this green bar says success it will prompt you to the next page and here you can see our erc20 wallet address serial number deeper ching wallet because our mining has not been activated that's why it's showing this red cross or orange cross and next step is we're going to stick some dpr token to unlock this mining feature okay click on the choose plan and it will bring you to the choose and upgrade plan page my first attempt i'm going to go with the 200 credit score so it requires 11 000 dpr token stick where that came from is 10 000 for the 200 and 1000 dpr to put your miner on the chain in order to have the mining feature and now this is the process that we're going to swap our ethereum in our metamask to dpr tokens so we can continue the staking process so here you can see i'm quickly pulling out my calculator 11 000 dpr token times the price at the time it was at 0.1208 it costs around 1320 usd worth of tokens staked make sure you have this plus a few hundred dollars more of a balance for gas fee okay [Music] [Applause] we want to take a quick pause and open a new tab on your website browser and you want to search up uni swap or find the link in the description and you want to come to unit swap and log in with your meta mask because uni swap detects your metamask wallet so it will automatically have a pop-up you just need to confirm and log in and in here you can see ethereum balance is loaded we're going to swap ethereum to dpr token so simply click on select a token it should automatically populate this dpr token you want to select that one we're doing 11 000 worth of dpr tokens so in the dpr token field you can simply enter 11 000. it will automatically calculate how much ethereum balance needed in order to complete this transaction once you're happy with the dpr amount and you have enough ethereum amount simply click on swap confirm the swap this will open up a new metamask notification and you just want to confirm the gas fee around this time when i did transaction the gas fee is around 125 dollars in this process if you notice the gas fee is extremely high what i recommend you is to wait it out wait for the network to get less congested so this way your gas fee will drop a little bit the way you can check the gas fee is come to etherskin dot io slash gas tracker the link is in the description this way it'll show you how much gas is at this current moment as a unit of kiwi so now what we want to do is once you're happy with everything click on confirm on your meta mask and this way just wait it out this shouldn't take long it should be less than a minute so unit swap will go ahead and grab that eth balance and swap it to dpr token balance and display the dpr token on your wallet on the transaction submitted page if you don't have a dpr token add it to your meta mask you have this option says add dpr to metamask you want to click on that option so this way you can add the dpr token on your metamask for those who don't see this option or you got lost at this stage what you can do is simply come to coin market cap and you want to search dpr and you want to come to this contract field there is this address you want to copy once you copy this address you can click on meta mask and you can scroll down and you will see import tokens and you can click on custom token and enter the token contract address field it will automatically load up the token symbol and the decimals you can manually add token into your meta mask this way okay so you can see here once we're done with the process our dpr token balance has showed up on our meta mask that means uniswap had finished its job swapping the token once you see the dpr balance on your metamask you're good to go [Music] once we're done with that let's come back to our deeper network registration page you see this green buttons as a stake once you click on this button it will automatically open up the metamask notification first thing you want to click on next second you want to connect our meta mask with deeper network website so this way they can read how much dpr token you have in your wallet just simply click on connect again we're confirming one last time you can see on the top right corner connect wallet is already connected it will show the first few digits and the last few digits of your metamask wallet address in here we have a dpr balance is eleven thousand the actual required balance is eleven thousand and just click on this blue button says a stake and it will open up metamask one more time so there are two transactions we need to confirm first one is allowing this contract to be written this won't be too much of a gas fee normally 20 to 30 bucks it depends on the ease price you want to confirm this first transaction so this is approving the contract once you're done with that it should open up another window and this is actually take out the 11 000 balance and put it on the chain this transaction should be higher than the first one in my specific case you can see here metamask is showing me around 100 just to pay for the gas feed it is what it is but you can always wait it out every few seconds around 15 seconds this balance will refresh because metamask is reading the gas fee and to populate the right amount of gas sometimes just by waiting it out the price might drop once you're happy with that exact gas price you want to click on confirm right now this transaction has been submitted and you can see it's currently pending and you can always click on this contract to view it on the ether skin so this shouldn't take longer than a minute you just patiently wait it out once the transaction is finished you will see this green check says the stick is successful and please wait patiently for the credit to be synchronized to the device once you see this sign that means it's a good news and you can see here metamask dpr balance has been subtracted 11 000 dpr token has been staked that is basically the entire process of how we can register and stake dpr token and now we have one last step left is we are going to log into our deeper network dashboard make sure you're on a deeper network and go to 34.34.3434 or 11.22.33.44 i completed my transaction or staking around 4 30 pm in about 20 to 30 minutes or so around 4 50 to 5 o'clock i refreshed my deeper network dashboard and i see this one option popped up it says dpr and you want to click on that and here it will show you do you want to generate a new wallet or you want to bind wallet in our case we're going to bind our wallet remember earlier we downloaded a private key text file and we simply want to bind this private key and you click on that third option and it will ask you to upload your private key as a txt file and simply locate that txt file you downloaded earlier you want to click on ok and you can see here we have successfully bound the wallet once you finish binding the wallet and click on dpr again you can see wallet and there's something called a wallet balance depends on how much dpr you staked it should reflect to you your credit score right away because we have stick 11 000 dpr token 10 extra credit it was gifted to me because it was uh some sort of a promotion or giveaway in the team everybody just got 10 free credits this is a tab we're going to check our wallet balance for those who don't know you want to be able to share your bandwidth to others if your daily shared traffic is 10 megabyte and above for two continuous day you will earn one credit score so every two days share minimum 10 megabyte traffic and you will earn one credit score so in one year if you continuously share your traffic every day assume there's no disconnect you should be able to earn around 180 credit scores so you can see here it will take you some time to reach up to 800 credit score unless you want to stick some more so this is just more organic way you can earn credit score [Music] right now my credit is 200 right what if i want to stick some more i want to stick 10 000 dpr more so i can get 300 credit score instead of 200. the process is really straightforward just like how we're done you want to come to device.deeper.network again and this time you want to log in with the account you registered earlier you can see because i have already have a 200 credit score so it will automatically populate between 300 to 800 and which one i want to go for because it detected i have already staked some and my credit score is 200 in this case i want to fast jump to 300 by staking 10 000 more so the process is exactly the same make sure you have some dpr token in your wallet 10 000 worth so in this case i just wanted to show you what if you don't have the balance it will show you hey insufficient funds so we don't have enough balance again in this case i came to unit swap again swap from ethereum to dpr token because i have a 300 already so i just need to swap 9 700 more to reach 10 000 dpr tokens once i click on swap confirm swap and wait it out and my ethereum has successfully swapped to dpr token i have a 10 000 dpr token sitting in my metamask once you have a sufficient font you're going to see here we're going to stick 10 000 just click on come from stick remember earlier we have already done this step once it will show you at the bottom the transaction records and we have done that once we're doing this again once you confirm everything on this page click on this blue button says a stake a metamask notification will pop up you need to confirm the gas feed in my case in here i only paid 34 dollars worth of gas fee that's because we have already done the first one first one was the most expensive one and then once we're happy with that click on confirm and just patiently wait it out or you can check the status on either skin and then within a minute you're going to see it will prompt you to the next page which is success so i have successfully staked 10 000 more h t tokens so in total i have staked around 21 000 the first one was 11 000 the second one is 10 000. so right now what you want to do is you want to log into your dashboard again come to dpr wallet balance you're going to see my credit is still 200 right now right but give it a few minutes in my case i waited around two minutes and then i did a refresh again my credit went from 210 to 310. so this is how you are able to keep staking dpr token to add more credit to your dpr mining device or your wallet so this way you're able to earn more dpr token on a daily monthly and annually
