Hi, this is Sienna, an interior designer. Today, I'm going to introduce a place of James who's living alone. It's a studio of seven *pyeong.

My client loves reading books, so most of his stuff was books. That's why I needed furniture to store all these books. Also, he said he needed a dining space to entertain his guests as well as a space where he can read or work. Since he wanted to use his old bed and chair, [#Color]
I chose a color scheme that goes well with the wooden bed and purple chair. First of all, I divided it into a work space and a rest space. I arranged this side for work and book reading and on the other side for rest. For the rest area, he said he watched TV lying on the bed, so I arranged the bed by the window, and placed the TV on the wall shelf without any other living room furniture. In addition, I put a table next to the bed so that he can eat there. For the workspace, I put extra desk and went with all-white interiors. Then, shall we go see the decorated space in reality? [Home Decorating] First of all, let me show you the rest area. I chose the navy color for the bedding that looks great with the wooden frame he had. The back part is ivory color so it can be used on both sides to suit the mood he wants. Next to the bed, I put a two-story wooden bookcase instead of a bed table for the client who has a lot of books. He can keep books here, which lets him easily take them out to read before going to sleep. Next to it, I put an artificial plant to add vitality to the interior. I hung a simple clock that goes well with the gray wall above his bed. And, below I placed a jacquard rug of less dusty material that can be used throughout all four seasons. I used the gray color, which goes really well with the existing space. so it's practically not that spacious for other furniture. So, for both the table and the table chair, I recommended him to purchase folding wooden furniture. And in case his friend comes over, I recommended him to purchase extra folding chair. I placed a waterproof tablecloth that can be cleaned easily on the table, and a cushion on the chair to give it a softer feel. [(Placed nicely)]

One wall is entirely covered with fixture for wall shelves, so I was wondering how to put it to good use. [Type A: Install wall shelves all over it]
If wall shelves are installed all over it, my client can only use them to store books and other props. [Type B : Install wall shelves only on the part of it]
So I installed wall shelves only at the top and bottom left of it. This way, I could secure space to keep his books on the top, and place TV on the left and desk on the right. [Type C: If it's difficult to install wall shelves]
But if you can't install wall shelves on the wall, you can use a corner bookcase like this, or you can use a desk with attached bookshelf. I selected a desk in white color which's the same color as the wall shelves to give an unified and neat look. And I attached a multi-plug extension cord to the bottom of the desk using silicone tape to make it easier to use. [Just attach it to any desired place and it's done!] [It won't fall off even if you pull it!] The ambiguously remaining space next to the desk was placed with these small stackable storage boxes so he can use them as drawers. On the side wall, there is a door to the boiler room, which makes the space a bit ambiguous to use, so I placed a vertical product that's good for use in a small space like this and stored more books. And, I put a floor lamp that spreads lights gently towards the ceiling in the back, and installed a light bulb that can adjust the brightness and color with the remote control to add more convenience to his life. [#Make Good Use Of #Even Small Space] [Home Decorating] There's a built-in closet in the space next to the bed. The client has a microwave oven, so I decided to place it here near the kitchen. But there's no power outlet, so I had to connect a multi-plug extension cord to the outlet on the side of the bed. I thought it would ruin the atmosphere of the neat space if the wires are visible, [*Caution* Use big scissors to cut it easily!]
so I covered it with this wire cover. It's really easy to install it because all you need to do is just cut it as long as you want and then remove sticker and attach it. [#Put Wires In #Cover It Up_The End] [Built-in closet]
My client doesn't have a lot of clothes, [Porch hanger]
but the small closet and porch hanger were still not enough to store all of them. So, I decided to use the cabinet below. I removed the existing shelf, installed a clothing rod to hang shirts that fit the length on the left and stacked the drawers on the right to let him store his clothes more efficiently. And above that, I kept books that he rarely read and hats.
