Decorate Christmas Tree with Me// Same Tree Four Ways // Christmas Tree Decorating 2021

hey everyone today i'm super excited because i thought i would kick off the christmas season on my youtube channel by doing a massive throwback and showing you the last three christmas trees i decorated and showing you the video clips all together just a marathon decorate showing how i decorated the same tree three different ways so i'm going to go ahead and say that i have footage here from 2018 2019 and 2020 the footage from 2018 while it was one of my favorite designs is not the best video footage but you know you get better with time so here i am starting with the first step for every single tree and i am getting the tree out of the box putting it together fluffing it and putting on the lights i will have time stamps for each tree in the comment box if you want to jump ahead to a particular design and now let's get started by rolling into our my 2018 tree which was a pretty classic look using silver gold red on our flock tree here is a quick look at that tree and what it looks like and i'm going to walk you through each step i did of decorating it and yes this shaky footage kills me [Applause] [Music] i am starting this tree by putting these red berry picks all throughout the white flock tree [Music] so [Music] next i am adding my first batch of ribbon and here i am doing the ribbon twirls and i have layered two different types of ribbon to get this look how to do this is in my how to put ribbon on a christmas tree video [Music] [Applause] for the topper of this tree i am using these silver spray picks and i am just placing them in different directions on the top of the tree [Music] [Applause] [Music] now i have started adding ornaments what i'm saying here is that i take some shiny ornaments and i place them deeper inside the tree because it adds a fullness to the tree and adds a little bit of a reflection um when you look at the tree from a distance so that's what i'm doing in this clip and then after that i will add the rest of the ornaments to the front part of the tree [Music] so [Music] after all the ornaments are on i do my second batch of ribbon so for this i'm going to be doing the ribbon bows um i just take a piece of ribbon and i create two loops to make it look like a bow and then you stick it and secure it in the tree [Music] [Applause] [Music] so [Music] [Applause] [Music] the last thing i'm doing here is i have these gold and silver sprays and what they were is hobby lobby had these giant sprays a couple years back and i cut them into pieces smaller for my tree and i am just sticking them throughout and i like to stick them so they're kind of sticking out of the tree and creating some dimension to the tree [Music] [Applause] [Music] [Applause] [Music] here is a look at our 2019 tree this is a no ornament tree this is when my son was learning to walk and crawl and i didn't want to have any ornament hooks so i didn't use any ornaments on this tree i only used picks flowers ribbons and things like that i am starting this tree by putting these poinsettia flowers all throughout the tree um they are just poinsettia stems and then after that i will fill the tree with red [Music] you a berries that i put under the tree tomorrow it is christmas the first for you and me the snow is falling down and the storm is on its way but as long as you're around everything will be okay cause all i wanna do holiday with you tomorrow it is christmas the first for me and you have longed for this [Music] next i am using these oversized pom-pom stems i love these i think they're so fun and i like to place them sticking out of the tree and they add a lot of fun and dimension to the trees [Music] [Music] the first for you and me [Music] another year went by but the difference this time is that ever since july [Music] tomorrow it is christmas the first for [Music] out of nowhere [Music] i am once again doing these same ribbon twirls from the last tree where you just wrap it around your hand and create a spiral [Music] tomorrow it is christmas the first for me and you i've longed for this moment to have you for myself [Music] tomorrow it is christmas the first for you and me it's cold outside but the fire keeps us warm we can't spend the night [Music] and underneath gotten you a present that i put under the tree tomorrow it is christmas the first for you and me the snow is falling down and the storm is on its way but as long as you're around everything will be okay cause all i wanna [Music] for the topper i'm going to use these giant candy cane stems and i'm going to use several and stick them going in different directions and then i'm going to fill in the spaces with these silver sprays [Music] tomorrow it is christmas the first for you and me another year went by but the difference this time is that ever since july i've been happier than i have ever been it's safe to say that my love for you is true tomorrow it is christmas [Music] last year i wanted to create a look that was very different from anything i did so i created this blue tree for youtube so i used two different types of blue ribbon and then i used white and silver's to fill out the training so let's get started decorating with the white poinsettias again [Music] jingle bells ringing in my ear jingle bell a sound that's all so dear [Music] for this tree my first ribbon is going to be a crisscross ribbon where you cut the ribbon into strips and you tuck it going different directions all across the trees [Music] at the speed of light while we're dancing around the christmas tree hugging [Music] from [Music] now i'm going to be placing these sprays all throughout i have some that are the silver branches i have some that are silver squigglies and i am just placing them sticking out of the tree to give the tree dimension [Music] while santa's busy staying ho ho ho we're feeling jolly eating christmas cake and then we go skating on the frozen lake saying hi to every friendly face after hanging some snowflake ornaments i am doing my second batch of ribbon and i am once again doing the twirl ribbon if you can't tell this is my absolute favorite design and i did it on every single tree included in this video [Music] wish us all a merry christmas [Music] a merry christmas day [Music] [Music] to wish us christmas [Music] day [Music] after hanging all the regular ornaments i am now going to fill out the tree with some of these silver branches these are cut from a large bush of silver branches that i got at hobby lobby to make individual sprays [Music] christmas tree [Music] oh [Music] jingle bells ringing in my ear jingle bell a sound that's oh so dear frosty the snowman is all around town watch out for reindeers are falling down we stay up waiting for santa tonight he climbs down the chimney at the speed of light [Music] okay and finally for the bonus tree i'm going to be showing you what our actual 20 20 tree looked like and this is what i'm calling our family tree my husband and toddler helped me decorate it is very very similar to all the steps included in the 2019 tree um but there are a few extra things that we added so i'm just going to show you a very quick clip of us decorating it as a family and then the final look [Music] have our ups and downs but when there's love there's always a way and oh this time of year we come together to celebrate yes every time the snow is falling down and it is cold outside we gather on the fireplace and no one cares about yesterday my favorite holiday it means so much [Music] this year i'll think about how i'm so lucky to have a place that i can come home to yes i am on my way we'll put our differences aside and just enjoy this moment of peace and happiness we come together to celebrate yes every time the snow is falling
