razer's Flagship Wireless mice offers some Cutting Edge performance and different shapes and sizes with the Death Adder and Viper being among some of the best offerings on the market and in today's video we're going to compare razer's Death Adder V3 Pro in the Viper V2 Pro head to head so you guys can make the best decision on which one's gonna work for you both mice have slimmed down in comparison to their predecessors as far as that weight goes putting them along with some of the lightest Flagship Wireless options on the market now with the Viper coming in at a very light just 58 grams just five grams lighter than the Death Adder which sits at 63 grams now the same way as the G Pro super light this leaves both mice though feeling super light in hand which for me is even more impressive that the Death Adder with the Death Adder specifically because it has that larger Ergo shape you'll get a gritty PBT keycap-esque plastic that covers the surfaces on both mice which makes for a really nice easy surface to get a good grip on and both mice also feel really solid in hand having no perceivable weaknesses to their designs even with that lightweight and no honeycomb hole design if you are a sucker for extra features on mice you're definitely not really going to find any extra Frills that you might see on some other Flagship Wireless options on the market with there being no things like RGB texture buttons around the shell or the ability to use it with a charging dock so do take that into consideration when purchasing these omission of those features though is of course just to keep helping streamline the mice and cut down on the weight for the purpose of just making it a beast for that fast-paced gaming environment on the bottom of each Mouse you're going to find that same button which is going to double both as a power on or off and a DPI button which can be used once the mouse is on to cycle between those different DPI stages which can then be adjusted in Razer synapse software if you want both mice are also using the same sensor which is their focus Pro 30k optical sensor which so far for me been super Snappy really spot on no spin outs no faultiness in it and the mice have almost completely identical PTFE feet on the bottom as well with that one bigger skate in the back the two smaller ones towards the front and then that one around the sensor I've had no issues with the slides on either one but if you want to you can of course always swap those out for some aftermarket skates which I'll also have a video coming out soon on some of the best aftermarket upgrades you can make on them so make sure you pay attention for that shape is going to be the biggest area of difference between the mice and what's most likely going to help make the decision for you when choosing the Death Adder of course is going to be boasting that larger Ergo shape with the Viper having that more streamlined ambidextrous shape with the Ergo shape such as the depth out of your course you're going to have that more raised and pronounced tump that's going to meet you in the back of the Palm along with that slope off to the right making grip Styles things like palm and a clot more of the go-to versus the lower profile hump on the Viper which of course makes things like a claw and a fingertip style grip feel the most natural and that Palm grip more difficult to get into of course if you have either large hands or small hands depending on what side of the spectrum you're on this is also going to change your experience with the mouse for reference here are the size of my hand measurements on the screen one nice thing about the shape only a Death Adder is that it can still double as a more comfortable daily driver Mouse as well as that gaming mouse with its larger ergonomic shape and side buttons whereas with the Viper that smaller frame and side buttons you are more forcing just to a cloth style grip where you're more tensed up and you can't relax the same with it so definitely do consider your goal with the mouse as well as your hand shape as both shapes are great but just in different ways and they do serve different needs so if you prefer that claw to fingertip grip style or style of grip you want those really fast movements out of your mouse the Viper it might work better for you because it is really great for that but if you want that slightly more cozy mouse that can be used in Palm grip easier as well as a claw grip while still providing efficient in-game performance the Death Adder is definitely a nice balance shape each Mouse has the option of being used wired and you're going to have to plug it in to actually charge it but both the Death Adder and Viper are using USBC ports which is really great to see and it doesn't only fit razer's USBC cable you can also fit some other ones in there that tested as well so the cable itself definitely not very great the one that you get included but of course you don't buy a wireless mouse to use it with that cable you want to get it for that wireless connection you can use both of course the Viper V2 Pro and that Designer V3 Pro with the dongle either in the computer or in the adapter which is going to offer that 2.4 gigahertz wireless connection and even with multiple dongles plugged into my PC I've had no issues with that connection but also something that you're going to want to consider is that with the Viper you're only going to get 70 hours of battery life which is still a ton but with the Death Adder does offer a little bit more with 90 hours of battery life so do take that into consideration as well both mice are using razer's gen 3 Optical switches which according to Razer are just supposed to be more tactile while also offering that longer life cycle up to 90 million clicks and yes I can't speak specifically to that life cycle I've not sat there and clicked out 90 million clicks of course but I can't say the clicks definitely feel really nice Snappy response for an optical switch Mouse while requiring also minimal effort to push or activate that click as well on both myself I found min animal pre and post travel and in the scroll Wheels you don't see much of a difference I thought it was interesting that the Death Adder has that more smoother feeling will but the stages still present but easier to go over versus the Viper which had a little bit more of a firmer scroll wheel with all the stages being a little bit easier to feel and decipher from one another but the only Annoying Thing about the Viper was the noise from the scroll wheel especially when you're scrolling up just got a slight little bit of a rattle in there which is a little bit annoying but I thought I'd point out that scrolls are a bit different there but still very similar at the end of the day the side buttons though definitely differ a lot in shape as well as feel with both mice having decently Snappy tactile side buttons but I just found the Death Adder side buttons feel a lot better to me just having a more Snappy and crisp feel when you are clicking those you guys can definitely hear that in the sound test which will be in just a second and that may be due to the switches that are being used or maybe just the larger side buttons in general but the Vipers definitely have a little bit more pre and post traveler and not that same exact Snappy response that I found on the Death Adder but still function one you can find the DeathAdder V3 Pro and Viper V2 Pro for 150 which of course that's definitely not cheap but nowadays almost all Flagship wireless mics are going to be sitting around that price or something very similar so in point of comparison to the rest of the market it's definitely not out of this world or unexpected as far as that price point does go and Technology wise both of these mics are definitely on par with each other featuring things like the same switches the same sensor the ability to use it with the addition of also that adapter in a 4K pulling right so all those features technology wise aren't part of each other where the biggest difference you're going to find of course these is going to be that and probably the deciding factor for you guys it's going to be that shape of course you're going to get a larger ergonomic shape with this one or the smaller ambidextrous shape with the Viper so they definitely boast different perks but still ultimately it's going to depend on your play style your hand size your preferences regardless though both are killer gaming mice in their own right it can easily hold up against today's competition thank you guys so much for watching the video let me know which Mouse you like better in the comments down below if you enjoyed the video definitely
