today I'm going to show you what a dealer pays for this 4Runner every time he yels he's got a bid this car has 277,000 M on it all right that's a real truck right there and this is what everyone wants to see it's a toaster it's a toaster all right I'm been on too this is interesting and I'll tell you why in just a second s Time s time let's go all right it's auction day auction day auction day let's go yes we need to check this thing out this is sweet uh actually you know what we're not going to check it I can hear the motor I don't know if you can hear it it sounds kind of rough and it says water pump leak so um this thing's running right now there's a chance that it might be overheating no it's not but I'm going to turn it off cuz I'm going to save some seller lots of money so this thing does not blow up before it goes through the lane there you go you're welcome seller and this is what we see a lot we see a lot of these model Honda Civics with very high mileage that one's got 200,000 Mi talk about a lot what cars are good what cars I see with a lot of miles that are going to last you a very long time Honda Accord Honda Civics Toyota Camry's Toyota Corollas are the best cars that you can buy that are used that will run for a very very very long time and the reason I know that is because I go to these car dealer auctions I see them all the time with 200 300,000 miles they run forever got to take care of them still but they do run forever all right so we will check this one out it is a 20 2017 Toyota 4Runner get tons and tons and tons of questions about 4Runners this one's a 2017 there's a truck that uh just uh it's very loud over there anyway hopefully you don't hear it too bad it's a 2017 it's limited it's got 103,000 miles if you can hear me over this truck outside looks good all right here's the 4Runner this should bring a lots of money so 2017 103,000 Mi try to start at $27,000 no bits let's get inside um inside's kind of kind of not I wouldn't say rough but it's got a few little Paces here and there dirty needs to be cleaned up dropped it down 26 dropped it down to 24,000 I think they got bits now money going up that means he's got bids still just 24,000 nobody else first bid was strong it's rolling out still 24,000 24 I got 24,000 got $24,000 sellers shaking his head said it needs $25,000 I appreciate you being 25 all right I do Apper said no so far apart only $1,000 but they're far apart no sold no sold and today on the shopping network we have a green twoos slice toaster there you go top slides back put two things of toast in there well I mean it makes toast so yeah no you put you put um I don't like these cars oh sweet they actually got the Jeep out riding it around with a little trailer oh that's sick it sounds cool too that's awesome this is interesting and I'll tell you why in just a second but this is a nice looking Jeep it Even's got uh it's got a nickname here there you go I don't think that was uh that was a uh version that was released that feels like a race sticker so anyway that's cool though like I like that sticker looks cool it's got this uh a lot of aftermarket stuff that it's put on it looks like it's been lifted looks like it's got big tires on it but this is a 2018 Wrangler it's got 65,000 M on it outside body looks great uh yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah I uh I'm surprised that they don't want to sell this on their dealership but this is why it's interesting and we'll talk about that in a second all right here's that jeeper we're going to check this out trying to start $222,000 no B so far no so far Dr down 21 drop down 21,000 oh we got numbers 21,000 21,000 inside inside look around um they got this like it's like cushioned uh floorboards uh Somebody explain to me what that is um but the seats uh are uh that's aftermarket too I don't think that came stock with with this kind of kind of seat on it maybe maybe it did that's not a seat cover uh actually yeah it is a cover but they're like customade covers okay that's cool um inside inside looks uh looks pretty good so we'll see what a dealer will will actually pay for this 3 4 5 6 21,000 9 22,000 I could not be got 228 229 229 23, 23,000 23 232 233 all right going roll out out we got 23,300 and they sold it they sold it but the reason why I want to look at this and why it's interesting this comes from a Jeep Dodge Ram dealer and what we know in the market right now is that uh Jeep Dodge Ram stantis vehicles are some of the vehicles that are sitting on the market for the longest their inventory Supply is the highest of any other manufacturer so we see something like that which they should be able to retail on their uh on their dealership and it winds up here and traditionally especially over the last 3 years these dealers would keep something like that because they would be able to sell it to a a consumer and make way more money than they would selling it on the wholesale level but especially especially Jeep Dodge Ram they need to make room they need to get things off their floor plan they need to uh to move their new inventory so they don't want that they don't want that on their dealership they want to move it they want to get rid of it here and and they don't want to have to deal with that because they have too many vehicles as it is so we'll see more and more and more and more of those pop up here at uh these auctions put some rims on it but you know what you paid so much for the rims that you can't afford to put tires on it that's the problem if you're want to put nice rims on it maybe don't endanger your life also because you can't afford the tires just leave the regular rims on it and don't put your life in jeopardy please S stand back here terrible Tire all right so this is a Toyota Camry right here and these are one of the older models this are the kind of cars that we love to buy let me show I'm going get under the hood and show you why look at all this there's so much space you can literally see everything you need to get to to be able to fix this thing they're very reliable and it's rare that you have to fix anything on it but when you do it's just it's it's right here you can fix it and the most common problem your coils and they're literally just four right here and it's it's these bolts to take this cover off and four bolts uh to to replace the actual coil so it's it's nothing to fix these cars I love Toyota Camry's easy to work on very reliable best car you can buy something that's uh really good to see here that I haven't seen in the last few weeks is that they've uh they've got a lot of cars here and the reason why I want to point that out is because the last few weeks that we've been here we've had whole rows that were empty of cars but more cars is good for the market that means new car dealers are lowering their prices they're being more negotiable they're moving new cars and that means they get trade-ins they get trade-ins trade-ins can come here used car prices could come down I can then buy some freaking cars I'm excited about this um and what I've seen in the market is that we are able to buy more cars right now because because uh there's just not a big appetite for a lot of these used cars prices are coming down um just yesterday at another small auction that we go to we were able to buy it's like seven or eight cars and uh we really haven't been able to do that in that kind of volume at one auction um in a very long time and we're starting to see more of these hits pop up um where we can buy 7 8 9 10 cars at one auction and I want to get back to that because uh we we need cars at our dealership we're still selling because we're in that uh lower tier range and that's what people want right now uh but it's very very very very hard for us to find those kind of cars and we need volume from these new car dealers so we can have volume at these auctions so we have more to pick from and if we have more to pick from prices can go down quality can go up all at the same time it's better for us and it's better for our consumer and that's what I want for my business all right I know that I am going to get yelled at if I won't pass this thing you see it and we don't check it out doesn't matter how many miles it's got on it uh but it's a 95's got 215,000 mil on this thing a lot of miles but it's a 1995 and ands the indestructible tank but uh we will uh we're definitely going to check this out and see what it dealer is going to pay for this um it's a 4Runner if you don't know the paint is faded it's rough on the outside but who cares who cares one of the greatest vehicles ever created right here all right here it is here it is you know what while I'm here I better sit in this Toyota and check uh the transmission because if it's cheap there's no way I'm not buying it it's not going to be cheap though power steering you always got to check that that's good um a see I would expect is not cold I didn't hear the compressor Turn on front it goes frontwards and oh does it KN back up no it will if you go in reverse and it backs up oh my goodness this thing is fantastic it's so rough we have to check it out there's the tank all right I'm been on too all right we'll check oh it doesn't even like really all latch all that oh yeah yeah it does yeah it does it's good okay that that handle just seems very loose okay it's beaten up it's worn oh it's been put away wet but you know what this thing can probably tell some stories it's seen some Trails I'm sure make the check out look at that look at that steering wheel that steering wheel is awesome looking I I love this is this is what I like duct tape duct tape on the on the dash who cares who cares you know what there's not enough duct tape on this thing there needs to be more duct tape this that means this thing's been probably garage kept and uh and really just babied because there's only three there's only three strips of duct tape and really oh no I I miscounted there's five but it should have a minimum of 10 a minimum of 10 is what a good for Runner that's really been loved needs it's got a sunroof it's a 95 this gu look how massive look how massive this sunroof is you can't tell I'm excited about this thing this is an awesome car this is an awesome vehicle right here all right we're going to check it oh and power windows it's got power windows bet they don't work I bet they don't work there's no way they work oh my goodness they work look at that look at that power windows work on a 1995 Toyota 4Runner oh this thing's awesome 14 15 16 17 18 19 2 21 2 and 3 and 4 and 25 [Music] and6 28 I'm out I'm out I got like $1,000 to oh and I forgot the most important thing look at that frame it's a 1995 and look at that frame no rust no rust and I talk about this a lot but I am in a place where I mean we're in North Carolina Central North Carolina so we don't have to worry about rust at all this is 1995 this thing is 30 years old and the frame looks brand new this is why a business like mine can exist in a place like this I know a lot of you people say oh you're buying that car it's got 200,000 mil you're just selling junk it's not the case because I know where you are if you're in the Northeast if you're somewhere that gets a lot of salt uh he's asking me if I want to ride a jeep you want to say finish the thought you go ahead I'll catch you back in next run uh but we don't get I mean that's why something like that can ex exist too that old old old Jeep is because we live in a place that has no rust so these cars that are disintegrating where you are in the Northeast in about 10 years no no the frame's still perfect down here that's why we can buy the stuff that we buy that's why we can sell it so cheap that's we buy it so cheap and then get it to a consumer and then be comfortable selling it thinking it's safe and knowing it's reliable for a consum it's not going to fall apart on them even if it's got 200,000 Mi cuz don't have you rust here's a bonus one I didn't see this car sent out here it's a 2021 it's got 138,000 miles all right trying to get $99,000 out of it it's got 138,000 miles got $8,000 now $8,000 we got a bit him out all right go roll it out still got $8,000 nobody B on it all right that Honda brought $8,000 they put on a phone call only one bid brought $8,000 all right how's the list for today 13 or 14 13 or 14 that's good that's uh Far Cry from what we had last week so last three weeks yeah it's probably combined I didn't have that many how many cars you buy yesterday nine bought nine cars yesterday we haven't been able to do this so we're seeing more movement are you seeing more cars at auctions this week uh this week I've been seeing more our style cars like high miles things that we out here there's more cars here today even Tuesday I was able to buy six cars so that's good that's good that's a lot of cars for us uh compared to what we have been buying um so hopefully we can uh fill up the lot now yeah should be able to
