Deadline Week as an architecture student at Cambridge University

of Cambridge it's deadline week if you not know what that is it's when architecture students submit and present the work that they've been working on throughout the town in this case I've been working on my project for the last 8 weeks deadline week can be extremely stressful sometimes I'll be getting more work done in this week than I get done in a full term that's how important the week is make do it's deadline there's an event tonight and I can't even go there's fitball tomorrow as well I can't play there me to be football yesterday but like architecture just takes priority like see most subjects they finish by Monday or Tuesday today but we architecture finishes on the last day on Thursday you know what I'm saying so it's quite unfair like when I'm explaining to people I can't make it I can't make it I can't make it it makes it look like I'm just unreliable so like football for example and all these events and then when I say I can't make it they think I just can't be bothered but I genuinely just need to work and like when I say that and then they're like everyone needs to work we all go Gish but they don't understand like architecture like we it's not just like working for like free to 5 hours per day it's working 24/7 especially up to the up to the deadline if that makes sense [Music] but [Music] praise [Music] praise it's F well yes sir how you finally second here go into their shop and experience this my main take away from this early extensive research into mwood was that number one the bridge plays a pivotal role within the community it is it almost has this type of Civic status the questions I was asking myself at this stage was can I design something that can reach this Civic status that the bridge embodies and when people think of realwood can they think of my project is that's the type of impact I'm trying to get reach with my [Music] proposal the empty or broken playground the local schools around with all all two Monty how did you find out
