the path to school is long and steep Delphina mascara has arrived from the city where she spent the summer holidays the first leg is a few hours journey by canoe here too there is no road to the guerrilla Ramos on this stretch of the river the police have imposed a curfew at 6 p.m. all traffic is banned in fact the military also trying to stop the flow of illegal immigrants heading north for the United States [Music] [Music] for some life seems to be a bed of roses but not for these men and women who've come from far away these illegal immigrants from Africa have entrusted their lives into the hands of three smugglers and their canoe now in the jungle comes the riskiest part of their passage to the United States [Music] they need to cross one of the most tense and hostile areas in the furnace-like conditions and the pay's poultry just five dollars a day per person [Music] gina escaped this life of slavery due to her business she's become the richest and most important woman in
