DAY OF THE TWINS - Tornado terror in Nebraska

[Music] oh my God is this really happening during the Tornado Alley storm season it's very common for me to witness multiple large tornadoes on the ground at the same time What made this day so extraordinary was that I didn't wake up right [Music] afterwards early this afternoon the Storm Prediction Center was monitoring a volatile atmosphere over nebr Nebraska by 2:34 p.m. satellite imagery revealed a lone thunderstorm developing 30 Mi to my North and by 400 p.m. a large damaging tornado was being reported near the town of Stanton base velocity had revealed two areas of powerful rotation within one storm either this was a digital glitch or something extraordinary was occurring over this Ridge oh there it is tornado there she there might be two of them right here big [Music] pile at this moment the small town of Pilger is taking a direct hit by the ef4 Straight Ahead resulting in two fatalities and many critical injuries this might be our place to video hang on snap a couple pictures and then move on this was not a splitting Supercell or a parents tornado and orbiting satellite this was a freak of nature two almost identical cyclonic tornadoes born from one storm twins carving a parallel path of Destruction the Eastern twin was now growing and intensifying while the first born to the West appeared to wither away it is 422 and Big Daddy all right we're going to make a northern turn right into it got another dual tornado thing happening here both doing some serious damage right now minutes later condensation funnels again began reaching for the ground under the first born's mesocyclone twins were about to terrorize the countryside again this one looks to be a minut me get some pictures oh there goes the door the Eastern tornado or tornado on the right began to Ark more to the north while its clone sister continued to track Northeast the paths were about to cross on all right still on the ground very large tornadoes this could go on for a while oh wow look at that out there this one of them is getting Giant and next to it it's almost like they're about to merge this is unreal north of the town of Weisner the twins vanished from view into the Rainy Mass on the left and just to the east a new developing mesocyclone Was preparing to Foster another monster I still see a condensation funnel inside that whirling Mass right there it's about to get blasted with RFD still see that other tube in [Music] there there it is all on the ground again there [Music] the rain cleared exposing a long snaky tube while a chubby multivortex tornado was gnawing on the Farmland again two tornadoes were on the ground under a high base with high contrast lighting the shape shifting rope tornado was being sucked into the multivortex tornado's orbit and would be slungshot around the southern flank of its more massive sister generally I would time-lapse video like this to meet the demands of an ever increasing ADHD Society however I've chosen to share the following Clips in real time so that the true storm efficient AOS can get a more realistic sense of a truly mesmerizing spectacle [Applause] still got a big tornado to the ground over here oh wild multiple VES oh [Music] wow man that we're going to I'm going [Music] unbelievable this is better not be just another dream be awesome if this tornado did not kill anybody [Music] [Music] that one's doing that and this one is still here [Music] boom did I just see that all right wow I can't I can't shut the camera off this is too insane I think it's time to blast here we're blasting North on deteriorating road conditions attempting to catch up with the now ef4 tornado that's headed for the town of Wakefield oh Road starting out on me don't get stuck not today sliding woo slippy slide oh man oh don't get stuck don't get stuck all right I got to peel the mud off the tires out here random lesser maintained roads often have a sticky clay consistency once wet you don't sink but the clay sticks to your tires turning your tread into banana peels generally if you can keep your vehicle on the middle mound of the road you'll be okay but if you slide into the slushy vegetation you better hope you have a cell phone signal I've done this before guys stuck see if I can help him out real quick hang on they're buried I have to get a tow truck to get them out oh well we're just going to save it's 58 approaching thirst the ef4 spared Wakefield dissipating just east of town and our mother storm was shrinking in size still she had a couple small tornadoes gestating in her Twisted belly before passing away in Iowa but this day was far from over we got another tornado skirting the ground right here 140 M to my my West another supercell was dropping tornadoes if I aborted this dying storm now I just might make it in time to see another incredible storm before the sun went [Music] down thanks for watching aicad this is bad this is so stupid oh hang on
