seven that's like a what 14-hour day good morning everybody it is 5 25 a.m thanksgiving morning and the first thing we need to do is get some caffeine in us and then i'll show you guys what i've got planned for the rest of the day [Music] all right people it's about 5 45 and i'm about to show you guys the favorite part of my day so around 5 30 i'm running a little bit late today but around 5 30 i like to get in about half an hour of reading time because it's a time where i can relax i don't have to respond to emails and i can read my favorite book which is this i just started reading how to win friends and influence people i highly recommend it it's been an awesome book i've got my favorite mug here and i'm going to do a little bit of reading and then i'll catch up with you guys later also the reason i wake up at 5am so i come out in the morning i can see a sunrise like this let's get to work right as you walk in you're greeted by debbie who sits over here she's not here today because it's thanksgiving i've got the whole office to myself so over here is conference room number one and just over here is conference room number two on this side it's all private offices so i'm not gonna you know do everything over [Music] you there over this way and this is our training room so this is where we'll have sales meetings and stuff and you come through and this is the kitchen so if you bring a client and you guys just want to sit down have some coffee have some water eat a little bit and just talk about something you can do that here this island is gigantic they've always got the fridge stocked with water snacks whatever you need bathrooms over here [Music] and then this little area here is if somebody wants to bring their kids with him right now we don't really use it because of covid but you know the kids can sit here and watch tv and i think there's games in here somewhere but i'm not exactly sure so you come back this way you've got all of the like you know working spaces i guess you could call them they're like pods it's like you can sit here and if you just need to focus and get some work done and that's where you can come to do it so you can sit right there and then over here they've got computers and stuff so if you don't have your own laptop you can come here and just kind of sit down and just get to work i guess there's kind of a lounge over here and then another table here and yeah that's pretty much it and then you just go back this way and it takes you back out to the front [Music] all right so one of the first things that i like to do when i get to the office is get my to-do list set up and that's why i come here so early so i can get my to-do list so i know what i'm going to do for the rest of the day i can respond to emails from yesterday and anything from last night and yeah it just kind of helps me get a jump start on my day and then at eight o'clock so in about half an hour i'm gonna hop on a zoom call with somebody it's my role play partner and that's how i practice my cold calling scripts and yeah so let me show you guys what we're working with today at 8am like i said i'm going to roleplay with some scripts with my partner then i'm going to cold call all of the new for sale by owners then i am going to ask 10 realtors for their permission to post their listings on facebook then i'm going to post their listings and i'll show you guys what i mean with all that later and then i'm going to record and edit a youtube video specifically for um how to choose a good realtor that's going to go on my other youtube channel and then i'm going to text my sphere of influence i need to renew my license today send a picture to the real estate commission i need to work on memorizing the purchase agreement and then edit this day in the life video hey good morning [Music] ready okay okay [Music] you can do that perfect i will see you thursday at 4. have a great day talk to you soon you too you feel different today yes i feel good [Music] [Music] you know what i think it is i think i think when you stand up and like you kind of walk around a little bit or you talk it makes you feel more confident and your voice comes out a lot better and you know you're just just really excited to do it all right so i want to show you guys what i've been working on um so after that role play session with my partner then i made some calls there was only two or three calls that i needed to make and then i've been working on getting some more buyer leads and i wanted to show you guys how i've been doing that because i don't have any listings right now so what i'll do is i'll go on zillow and then i will look up homes that other agents in my company have posted so then i'll go on that actual listing on zillow and then i'll contact them and i'll email them and say hey i saw your post on zillow and i would love to put it on facebook marketplace for you and then in return i will capture any buyer leads you know so then that's how i've been getting some buyer leads and i need to respond to two emails from agents yesterday saying that i can post that and so we're gonna post two of them then we're gonna contact eight agents asking to post some more my goal is to have five of these posted by saturday and then the next thing on the to-do list after that is i'm going to record and edit a youtube video for my other channel where i talk about like the home buying process and all that and then i'll check in with you guys after that i think i think by then it'll probably be lunchtime and we'll go out and get some food all right so a little update it is almost 12 30 so pretty much lunch time um what i did was i just recorded this video which was how to choose uh a great realtor and a little shameless plugin and then um i posted two of those listings to facebook i contacted i think like five more agents to post theirs we'll see if they can get back to me by the end of the day that would be great it is thanksgiving but you know they're lazy whatever i'm working uh so i'm gonna go grab like a bite to eat and then we'll be back i'm gonna record another video probably i'm going to edit the one i just recorded i'm going to edit this day in the life video do a little bit of admin work and then we'll see what the rest of the day looks like so somehow time flew it's 6 p.m um i thought i'd have all these videos done editing by now but some more of the agents that i messaged they reached out so i had to post their listings then i decided to post all the listings on craigslist 2. so it looks like i won't be done editing for maybe another half hour to an hour and then we can get out of here hopefully i'm home by 7. uh it's just been a really long day you know i guess we'll see we'll see i want to be out of here by seven but time will tell [Music] ladies and gentlemen that is a wrap it's 6 30 i told you to take me about half an hour to finish editing so by the time i get home it'll be almost seven o'clock um today was a pretty long day uh we were up at five a.m uh we'll get home at seven that's like a what 14-hour day something like that but it was fun you know it was productive i did some prospecting in lots of different ways i made three youtube videos um is that really all i did oh i responded to a bunch of emails oh and i also got some buyer leads from those facebook listings that i posted i think so far i've gotten like six leads so that's like pretty good right and that was off of three listings so if i can get to five and then do five of them a week i think i'd be in a really good spot so yeah i'm just gonna pack up we're gonna hold we're gonna head home so you know i'm slurring my speech man i'm getting tired i'm gonna head home get something to
