meet the Browns ladies make you want to smile now little Gary so I think for my first show here this is really good because I'm around people I really know and I really think miss Jan for allowing me to have people that I was I was comfortable with so I can either get my feet on the ground here this these people here man I met in Chicago back in 92 93 somewhere in there yeah y'all was just doing plays well we were there yeah but let me tell you I first met ok going take us to get some suits made and he talked about us you remember you hooking us up with the sweet I won the hotel night yeah he was teaching this I would be stylish and you know we thought we was doing it so we wanted some suits with some stripes and heat you know in his own Steve Harvey waves like Custer days if y'all big behinds getting them stripes yes yes yes that's just to praise Lord bird yeah I would have to be real wish I weighed different back then yeah that would mean I didn't know how to say that yeah that's the way y'all remember though you pay for him it was nice of you yeah but you know I just wanted him to be clean y'all was we was like it's not always nice to people Charles dressing country and now Oh David man when I met him I used to call him farty and four years that's all he knew me by party out that's cuz that was a character that I played in another play and that's all you know that's what we gonna go with that right there that was it it was the play was a character 40s cuz I've never smoked a drink in my life he won't believe it I'm 44 years old never smoked never drank every mile I know so man I was watching that play and I really thought cuz he was you know it was Apple no I never do was apple juice apple juice I have never smoked enjoy I'm one of them stupid people that was I was out there just believing the place I was doing my job you had me convinced I said man this is my dude right here but man you you all have been around in this business for how long have you been married 22 years the best part of that is without any separations from April will be April will be 23 April of this year 122 years we've worked through it we just work through it now I'm not gonna say at what times I want it to go yeah I didn't want to leave I get right on and we just we just figured it out figured out how to make it work and she beats me that's why I thought he drank no he's convincing me to pull it out enough man you you all have been at this for a while because I know I know how difficult it is yes to be in this business that we're here and now you all add a whole nother level right now this level you add now this is way beyond the play world when you're on TV nightly your fame level changes you know this is not when you own the news you make the news for something when you're on their nightly people form opinions about you based on a character that you play on TV without never really knowing you exact that creates a challenge for you don't it does no you go expensive well I know it worked for me and you know we were talking about the whole marriage thing and how we make it work you know for me she doesn't like for me to touch her when we go to work when I'm mr. Brown she doesn't want me bothering cuz my daddy in character I mean you know that's crazy so in you just yell we get this matter all lit up this is decisive don't kiss me don't pat me just wait when we take this off then just okay but not not when I'm Korra I'm coming your daughter and I don't care you just missed a bride what's your say girl hey 22 years I can't shake yes it does change you know but you can't a lot you can't change it you know cuz you can a lot of people we know in this industry it's gotten caught up in the industry and you start believing your height and I think that's just because people don't have accountability you know but we hold each other accountable because there's some things that I'll do and even the other day I was I get my mouth or get me in trouble and I'll get the other day she said uh sir you need to calm down you know that keeps me because I know I you know I I'm still being worked on cuz I I've never been a Custer but let me tell you I would fight as crazy so I wouldn't cuss you but I punch you in the face what I words a whole pack start yeah yeah what were you well but we just we've always held each other accountable in this industry and that's how we were able to make it what's the toughest thing what is the toughest thing be having a life of faith and then this business well I think one challenge for us is sometimes of course we have to go to these different kind of parties and everything but as we've learned we go in and we set the tone even though it may be things going on around us but you know the word says we in the world but I'm not of the word so we go and we still represent Christ people know that you know we don't drink we don't smoke so we go in show our faces you know and sometimes it comes to a point weak we want up encouraging somebody yeah cuz you know it's so many of us going through so many different challenges that we wound up encouraging somebody at a party you're so marriage encouraging somebody's marriage and a party so it's like we go in with expectancy to go in to help somebody that's to me that's how God has set it up for us it's like we're always having a helping hand of whoever we can help I'm willing to help as many as I can because that's what we're calling the ministry for is to help to help others this is not just for me this is not this fatso it's not first this is to help other people and to be able to go in and and it may be sharing Christ because such as I have I give to you and that's all I have is Jesus you know I you know I'm making it you know we're doing really well it y'all got a lot of money we doing well we do it but you like you saying but being able to deal with people yeah and what we do in the morning when we start when we all set one thing I love that they they're like they allow us to do is were able to pray before we start the action gotta see this Tyler Perry yeah yeah Tyler Perry man he has he has no cussing on his set he got all that paint I've been over there yeah you you have to set some kind of tomb cuz people get out of order yeah brother Steve yeah we do we just we've just made up our minds of wherever we go we just want to set the atmosphere you know we go in with like a this is the atmosphere that that we're accustomed to so we go in we set the atmosphere how we will not condemning not condemning me when are you going to hell no lord Serapis you know your blood duck you go in hell you go in the hell it's like soldiers you know you're going in and we scoping out to see who we can help it's like he always tell me don't you bring home no project you try to help my mother Teresa does it you know Matt um did you guess what go ahead you hosted Oh TV one of the days I was in the closet trying to work it out you know because I got it I'm posed to speak so I try to put on the you know suit I got looked like a speaker I dress it up I'm trying to pick my shoes out ain't sigh you know I did all my stuff look different yeah I'm just in the closet trying to work it out man you know what this is but this is must this is my speaker suit do you look you look gun free to read okay somebody put their person you look free to read yeah yeah don't because like I thought name neighbors but I talked to three talked to a bishop Glenn staples or before I did this Bishop Jake's gave me a text to how could congratulate me you know are we trying to hook up before I leave town because they real supportive of me you know him and Kirk Franklin yeah had a conversation Kumiko Franklin's conversation was he want us now we got take care of it again and I really appreciate that because man really does we're help us to one another yeah exactly you all have been friends of mine for a long time man and I got to tell you just watching you as a couple you know this marriage I mean it's really beautiful you know my wife is saying and now that that's been the biggest thing because it's easy for me to come over exactly if she over there we you know you know we pray together you know I've never known that you know I'm saying so that's got to be the key to it right there and so I really appreciate you all as just a couple but somebody who's working in Tyler's real happy with you and you're real successful but for people to see people like yourselves in this business but cuz marriages don't last in this business we know we know Batman not last in last place is it I mean you know what but I just want to encourage people that people know all over the world that we can make it yeah we can do it I mean it can be done you know I mean because the thing is this is a circle you quit and give up on this relationship you're gonna have to start over with somebody else and if you get to the same point and you fall you gonna have to start all over with somebody else you know you know we found what we definitely kept in our relationship you got to help me give me you all need to be drinking or man you know we try to do and the key to it is is it's not like this hard thing we've stayed we're staying in love we found that the number one reason for divorce is you just fall out fall on another the number one reason people get married is they're in love and so you know when you in love you stuff you let pass you know she cross sorry when you met but you have you don't even recognize just enough but when you fall out of Lord you make me sick you're looking at me here then you find everything everything big intuition love covers a multitude of fault it really helps you see beyond when you're in love yeah so when you get into that next argument you can think I love this woman I love I know that's good cuz you like men after a while you start seeing them yeah it's cuz you follow that along cuz then after why you you got a little cute little nickname yeah you don't wallow yeah when you call your wife wallah so what has always looking at a wall Oh that is cessful that we go wrong but you never one thing one thing that I've learned and one thing that I've done for myself with my relationship is I pray to God and as God and are called David's name out and said Lord you keep my heart in my eyes only to lust into search and won't after nobody but David Mann go here I'll tell you man let me just say thank you for coming today thank you that it meant a lot to me when you all accepted this invitation it's made me more comfortable in my first time I really appreciate that and I want y'all come back again Co we're going to do it again and we'll be just everything I love y'all appreciate y'all being I want y'all to pick up the masterplan box it is having a better plug fingers go pick it up so much say it again
