Random YouTube surprise of the day. I’m really not one for “things used to be better” songs - but that one just hits nostalgia really well. And his voice works incredibly well. I’m not sure how he sings with so much grit but controls it. And doesn’t kill his throat.

I think I actually prefer it to the Judds version. He has some other (some country, some not) covers if you like his voice. Plus he has a minute long birthday song that was actually pretty sweet if you have someone who means something to you having a birthday come up.
