Mostly because this singer (Chris Daughtry) has almost the same name as a Survivor winner (Chris Daugherty).
I’ve always wanted to see a season tribute done to “one shining moment” the song they play at the end of the NCAA Tournament every year. I feel like many of the lyrics to it apply really well for Survivor and it captivates the journey/experience of earlier seasons very well.
Yknow when first heard the artist name, I thought it was the actual winner Chris from vanuatu. But honestly i don't care for the reason this song sounds kinda cool.
I could be remembering this wrong, but I believe this was the song they played for contestants who were eliminated from American Idol. And someone just repurposed it for Survivor. Does anyone want to fact check me on this?
