you know it's up to those of us who are in a position who have a choice to make the right choice and so you know the choice that I'm the choices that I made this year were not meant to be you know things that were representative of everyone but I think that each of us there comes a time for each of us to take a stand at some point in your career and in your lives and that was that was the one that was the decision I needed to make a decision for myself professionally and personally and I guess you have to stand it for what it is I mean you have to feel good with what you need to do at the end of the day and sometimes we near it a little bit younger you're pressured into doing certain things and then there's a point when you just you know you feel this solidarity within you of what - what choices to make you know do you think that it was about time and somebody had to stand up to really make a stand for other Asian actors out there that wasn't my intention but that I really wasn't going for that and actually I didn't myself I didn't make a statement I was uh it was really a business transaction in a lot of ways you know but within business you have to live with the commitments we make you know so I really just decided for myself what was going to do well for me and people interpreted that as they did so he kept in touch with in here Co started with ugly I did go back to visit the set because I I had a some plane flights to use up so I went back and and exactly why I went back to set maybe kind of rub it in their faces that I was free but it was funny because it was they were on location that day and so there's a lot of tourists and I think and even as I hit the island multiple people were telling me like oh yeah I heard you're back for an episode like oh yeah you're shooting I'm like I'm no I'm interesting Hawaii it's like they love to kind of I don't know to get into you know what's going on with other people and whatnot um and so but it was good to see them and one of them and asked like so you know what do you miss it it was like come on really
