There is a video of Spooks from the same show with Jonny singing and Will rapping his part, but no one doing Jon's screams at all. It is pretty fascinating to watch.
I love watching these Uneasy Hearts performances with Tilian, Kurt, and Jonny together. There is no greater trio of rock singers today!
I heard them about two weeks after this. Jon was still sick, so the whole concert was without him. After Kurt put on an amazing show with AllB, and Johnny with Slaves, it almost felt sad to hear DGD songs without Jon. Once Tillian picked up on that vibe, he kicked some fucking ass. They pulled out a bunch of songs where Tillian was the main pull, and the audience started filling in for Jon. Kurt screamed the parts in the songs he was in. For Rock Solid, he did all of the talking parts and all of the screaming parts. It was crazy. Kurt put everything he had into it. Johnny kept up somehow. When all three were on in Uneasy Hearts, it was amazing. This video doesn't do it justice. The was the three's voices mixed was so crazy, and Kurt definitely made sure he tried his best for Jon's part. I dunno if Jon even heard any of this stuff from when he was sick, but if he did he had to be happy about the way Kurt and Tillian handled it.
Why is Jon missing during this performance?
That was pretty great! I love Kurt's screams. Is there any other music where he screams besides small parts on happiness?
