it's a joy to surf the Lord it's a joy to be in his presence Amen I'm going to ask brother Jenkins to come up and and receive our offering tonight and you know he's been stricken with cancer but we believe God's healed him and he's doing good and he looks wonderful a man he looks real good I love him hey man know this man a long time he got called to preach when I was preaching revival 1975 he told how God called him to preach and he's been a good preacher to hold on his preacher and I appreciate him praise the Lord I'll tell you it's dangerous to give a preacher a microphone you hear me hey man but it's the Lord is good to me they diagnosed me in January this year of colon and liver cancer and told me I had six months if I didn't do anything I looked pretty good for a dead man don't I've had a lot of folks tell me that I look good now some of them I looked at them said I wished I could say the same thing about you but God has been good last July we was had a blockage 90% blockage in right coronary they had to stent then in October we was three and a half quarts low in blood and they gave us three units of blood and November the last part of November we got shingles had it in the head lasted the whole month of December almost made a drug-addict out of me trying to get the pain under control and then when that got under control I began to ask the Lord I said Lord wants all these things happen I said where's the sin he said to me he said it could be because he did something right it ain't always because you do something wrong and then in January I was preaching revivals and started hurting in my side and had to go to the VA the next day to find out what was going on and they did some Testaments that I had spots on my liver and after that they found cancer in my colon and told me that I had those six months so I started taking chemo I've had about eight rounds of chemo and camp-meeting the other week man of God said he's coming across the mountain God spoke to him and said I'm going to do something in this meeting and I want you to be sensitive he said that his uncle had just been diagnosed with cancer in the fourth stage said he'd probably just waste away and during his altar service that night I went to the altar when he he called and as I'm standing there and he I got my eyes closed my hands lifted and he walks over and he said God you said he was going to do something here tonight I want you to do it right here and I felt the Lord I believe God healed me now the devil didn't want me to tell nobody you know you put yourself on the spot whenever you tell somebody but that's all right I've been telling everybody I've told my doctor I'm supposed to take a chemo treatment this coming Monday I'm telling that doctor I ain't taking any more chemo they just sang the song but I had a vision back in about two weeks after I was diagnosed I'm sitting in church the choir singing they're singing he does miracles so great I looked at a place right in the altar and closed my eyes and immediately I was in the throne room in heaven and I saw the Lord from his knees down just like John described him Rose Shortridge I sold myself woke up in front of him and bow and cast the crown at his feet I got to telling people I said don't you pray to God to heal me Paul said absent from the bodies present with the Lord which is far better amen and I tell you I just can't wait to get to heaven to cast crown at his feet amen but I'm thankful for the healing virtue of the Lord amen I told him whenever I'm when you're through with me and I can't preach anymore take me out of here a man I believe that's what I'm here for is the preach because when he called me under this man's ministry he said preach my word bless the Lord I heard somebody say not long ago that all of us every one of us has three things we've got time we've got talents and we've got treasure now we're to redeem the time because the days are evil even number our days if you will because none of us have the same amount of time we don't know how much time we have none of us have the same amount of talents I dare say but all of us have that one that the Lord has given us and you may not realize it tonight but you have some treasure and this pastor asked me to come up here and get your treasure the scripture tells us not to lay our treasure up upon this earth but to lay it up in heaven where thieves can't break through and still it and their malls and rust corrupt it so as you give tonight I believe God loves cheerful givers and I'm sure that they still need to meet the budget of this camp meeting and I'll tell you what God is doing around here you can't pay for it there's not enough money in this room to pay for the blessings of God I felt the Holy Ghost from the very first prayer of the mirrors I appreciate the Lord healing you a man I know what back trouble is and I know how God can touch you and heal you and I'm thankful tonight I sure as if you'd come right now we're going to receive this offering heavenly father we're thankful tonight we love and honor you God we lift up the name that's above every name Jesus Christ who is our Lord and Savior I think your Lord for the privilege that I have to be in your house tonight and the blessings that you so richly bestowed upon us we're asking you God that you'd bless your people tonight as they give here and do this I've been raising this church the whole life I've been sitting under my dad in my whole life and I've sang songs and searched my whole life and I've been praying recently that God would use me in ways I didn't know would ever be possible and that God would anoint me and let me be like before father's like Moses that God would speak to me let me be like Enoch that I would walk with God and I've gone through several trials likely he'll remember about two years ago almost year and a little bit over a year and a half ago my lung collapse right here on stage it's a scary time I thought I'm gonna be everything again and the fear that comes along with getting up here and doing that and then I went to a trial and not just pass marks but the marks before about a little over a year ago I've never faced anything like that before in my life the demons of Hell just attacked my life with so many negative things I've never felt never Baxley I don't want anybody think that but I gained strength and I learned things in that battle and I was delivered by the mighty power of God I'll never forget how that I was delivered by the power and I've been praying ever since then every day God would show me an order my steps I started praying with every single patient at the hospital I've had the lady the other day she's cursed him before I prayed with her and I said I pray with people can I pray with you and she said sure and I pray with her she said well that was a good one got cold chills I've had people say you're Pentecostal aren't you and I said yeah they said I felt it in your prayer I was down here at the altar the other night y'all remember several years ago brother there was a brother of divine came and called me out and said some things over me but I was down here in the altar the other night you guys been dealing with me with some things but Brian McDonald was praying over me and Amy sitting in this corner over here and this scares me to death you guys it's almost I feel like vomiting to be honest with you but God used brother Brian to confirm something in my life for this time God called me to preach from nachiappan Sunday or Sunday other everybody's prayers and I want to walk in the path that God wants me to walk humans have every foot into his footprint I don't ever want to be without guidance and I ask the reason I announce tonight I was gonna wait till it's just my crowd the reason I now hike is because I know that you guys that travel all this way have a lot of confidence in you I love you and I appreciate you and if I've ever done anything within anybody in this entire building or this entire world I asked your forgiveness and I just hope God scuse me from this day forward for the bronze said I wouldn't be deciding from you've got the Holy Ghost and fire something good happens see the oil drips down and hits the fire you can throw gas on a fire and it'll burn out quick throw some old on and see what happens an oil fire is hard to put out I want that kind don't you I want that kind of fire burning in me if I don't have that what good am i doing up here if I can't light a fire and let somebody else catch on fire too when the old meets the fire oh I praise Jesus tonight for what I can feel in this building I don't know but you I've already been to church you see their first song that's y'all song I never lost chapter 1 verse 7 and also Acts chapter 2 hallelujah Dagon I feel his presence right here thank you lord I've been there whenever you know as well as I do I'll let the Holy Ghost move like we did last night two and a half hours but I pray soft God and I've wrapped standing right here on this platform ask him Lord you want us come this altar you want me to preach and I feel it as strong as I've ever failed it to preach the gospel amen I feel it strong praise God first Thessalonians after you get your Bible and you would first Thessalonians chapter number two amen we're not rushing this altar service you know the Holy Ghost can do everything he wants to do is that all right with you hallelujah to God 1st Thessalonians chapter 2 verse number 13 it says for this cause also thank we God without ceasing because when you received the Word of God which he heard of us you received it not the word of men but as it is in truth the Word of God which effectually worketh also in your behalf in the book of first John just a few pages over in the book of first John chapter number one verse number seven first John chapter 1 verse 7 it says but if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin can you say thank God for the blood hallelujah to God and then over to the book of Acts chapter number 2 verse number 1 and when the day of Pentecost was fully come they were with one Accord in one place and suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind and it filled all the house where they were sitting are we a Pentecostal church tonight and there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as a fire and it sat upon each of them and they were all somebody say all filled with the Holy Ghost and began to speak with other tongues as God gave them the utterance amen God burning in my heart tonight to preach the book the blood and the blessing would you stretch your hands this way pray one more time that God would continue to enormous as he's anointed this service father I pray that that anointing that I felt from the beginning until now Lord with every testimony God with every person testifying and singing god I pray that that same anointing that makes preaching effective would come down right now give this Bobby strength give this mind God clarity of thought I prayed it Lord you would ready us to not only hear it but to preach it and the people receive it and God I pray that you meet us in these altars tonight I feel your power I feel the unction of the it out for you in a recent charisma news article I know that we don't read that but I read this particular article Larry Tomczak said with an unprecedented escalation and celebration of homosexuality steamrolling of same-sex marriage apostasy and compromise in christian churches ministries and an organization the unbelievable governmental assault on our religious freedoms and the hostility toward biblical values the epidemic of out of wedlock birth sexual abuse pornography divorce promiscuity cohabitation and human trafficking plus continued execution of unborn babies in the womb every 26 seconds isn't it obvious that we're at a tipping point in our state of a moral crisis would you agree semen now let me if I could think of something else to name I would name it a man case there's some of you that might think I'm afraid to name sinned if I could think of it I'd say it again but there's nothing much been left around here to preach on I wouldn't reach on the clothesline but there's not enough on the clothesline to preach on anymore never mind your adversity to that statement listen to these facts David Kinnaman in unchristian says in virtually every study we conduct born-again Christians fail to display much attitudinal or behavioral evidence of a transformed life Kinnaman says that young evangelical Christians are 23 to 41 believe that they have a right to do things their way 59% believe it's morally acceptable to cohabitate the case you want to know what that means in southern terms of its shacking up 44 percent believe in sex outside of marriage that's fornication same in 35 percent believe it's okay to get drunk twenty-eight percent believe it's okay to have a sexual relationship with someone of the same sex even it's hard to establish a cruise or even a moral compass with moral relativism multiple paths theory Stevens indoctrination even if they're going to Bible colleges even now and they're telling them that it's okay to drink wine it's okay to drink a little alcohol let me tell you what a little wine is to a college student that has some professor egghead it tells them that it's okay that tells him it's alright to get drunk he then I've got a man in my church that's delivered four alcohol even he was a drunkard to stay drunk most of the time and now then he's been delivered set free for some 25 years or more and he said you mean to tell me they're going to say it's okay to simple little bit he said I'm tell you pastor if I ever sipped a little bit too hoppy back on the bottle tomorrow Amen the there's no real court there's no place for it there's the reason for de we're either going to be the church or we're going to be left behind saving from hyperbole to misrepresentation to outright lies concerning theology how do we protect our subsequent generation and children and grandchildren a fear of miscible and theological drift stuff how do we protect them I wish we could wave some kind of wand over this generation and say it wasn't all true or that there were some quick fix formula for change but the answer is not something we can find in another self-help book the answer is found it revival say then the answer is found it what's been going on around this place up for weeks amen morning noon and night we've been calling on the name of the Lord and the Bible says whosoever call us or the name of the Lord they shall be saying hallelujah Amen this answer is simple it's a spiritual renewal a true convicting transformative experience only possible by the power of the Holy Ghost say men to me all the way through this thing I will just tell you the end of this message is we're coming to an altar to get people cleansed by the blood and filled with the baptism of the Holy Ghost amen we're told in today's culture a biblical literacy and an illiteracy and agnosticism individualism and with personal interpretation of truth you can't use the Bible anymore to validate our belief in Christianity but where else are we gonna validator who we are and what we are if we don't build what we are on the foundation of the Word of God I'm not going to listen to somebody else tell me how to live holy how can I listen to the one that is holy the one that was and here's a fact and is to cover the power of God to save deliver and set free turn me up in the monitor my voice is shot hallelujah the God so if we're going to go back and figure out what we're going to do is too loud well I'm going home tomorrow it'll be all right amen I want you to hear it hallelujah what are we going to do if we can't gold personal opinion if we can't deal with that to protect our generation from eternal punishment it is our responsibility you gray-headed folks it is your responsibility it's my responsibility to give this gospel and get the power of the Holy Ghost to a the generation uh I don't care how many is in the altar tonight I expect to see some of these gray hairs with your hand on the head of a young person and I'm not gonna die until somebody else gets this power so we got to go back to square one amen and the basics of what's going to correct our course that's off is three simple things the book the blood and the blessing hallelujah - God let me talk to you about in the Old Testament if you read the last two words of the Old Testament talking about the book it closes with two words a curse because of sin and disobedience a curse was placed on the entire human family four hundred years after the Old Testament closed God speaks and the New Testament begins with the book even it's a direct real relation and correlation to what was going on in that Old Testament the Old Testament ends up with the curse but the New Testament begins up with the book if there was an antithesis if there was an answer if there was a riveted to the curse a man being in a bloodless of relationship to God I will telling us it is the bulk of that against the reveal of the Christ the Son of God ha captain the book in the first two words of the New Testament even it's the book of generations of Jesus Christ the Son of David the son of Abraham the book number one is great because of its author God breathed through 40 men over a period of 1,600 years 2nd Timothy 3 and 16 says all Scripture is inspired say men to me and given by inspiration of God in Genesis 1 9 times it records and God said in Malachi 23 times and God said in Isaiah he kind of divine inspiration over 40 times in Jeremiah here are a hundred instances where it says thus saith the Lord in the Pentateuch alone 500 times it says and God spoke in the Old Testament 3800 times it says and God spoke if we want to know what God has to say over the clause and God will talk to you I was preaching years ago in California I can't remember that old brother's name whereas maybe brother Bursa I can't remember he came to the church where I was preaching it gospel defenders and he got up and testified and he is a soft-spoken man and he got up and he opened his Bible he said if you want God to talk to you inaudibly quietly to yourself then pick up your Bible open it up and read it to us quietly to yourself if he said if you want taught them to speak audibly to you then open your by and read it out loud to yourself he said if you want God to scream at you come back tomorrow night and this evangelist is going to do it for you if you want to know how God feels about it get in the Word of God does return the Panjal personal profit that we're trying to find yourself on it that's going to agree with what you think you order we're word shut up I cut about this book is great because of the power that it imparts something happens to me when I open this book and I read it it's God's words amen it's the Eternal Word it became the Incarnate Word the Incarnate Word became the spoken word the spoken word became the written word the written word became the priests were the priests word became the experience word the experience word became the engrafted word and the engrafted word became the sacramental word I will tell you friend it says in the Book of Jonah he then in the beginning of was the word and the Word was with God the Word was God and the word became flesh and dwelt among us what you're holding in your hand is the written version of the second person of the Godhead a God and we let it lay on the coffee table and collect dust whoo-hoo god help us your strength depends exclusively and entirely on how much of the book you get inside of you we tell you something on this little phone right here I've got an app caramel 23:29 the word is like a crushing hammer in Ezekiel 37 and 7 the word is like a life-giving force take prophesied to dead bones and they got up came in from here in Romans 1 in 16 the word is like a saving power he said I'm not ashamed of the gospel of Christ it is the power of God unto salvation to the Jew first and also to the Greek but a goddess obtained by the Word of God and faith in his son Ephesians 6 and 17 says the word is like a defensive weapon he said it's the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God and Hebrews 4 and 12 the word is like a probing instrument it's quick and powerful a sharper than a two-edged sword dividing the bone and the matter Allah in Psalms 119 of verse number 11 us the word is a deterrent to sin David said I will hide his word in my heart that I might not sin against God you want to quit been enough did the word of God in your life and John 15 and 3 the word cleanses says we're clean through the word that I have spoken to thee in Psalms 19 and 7 the Word of God gives wisdom in Joshua 1 and 8 the work brings success he said meditate on it day and night your way prosperous when you meditate upon the Word of God even this book is not only great because of those things but it's great because of its subject it telling Hebrews 10 and 7 says things that I love i come in the volume of the book it is written
