lord when did we see you hungry and feel you were thirsty and gave you a drink when did we see you as stranger and make you welcome neglect clothes you sick or in prison and going to see you the king will answer i tell you solemnly suffers you did this to one of the least of these brothers of mine you did it to me next he will say to those on his left hand go away from me with your curse upon you naked and you never closed me sick and impressed that you never visited me then it will be there to ask lord when did we see you hungry or thirsty your stranger and naked secure in prison and did not come to your help then he will answer i tell you solemnly insofar as you neglected to do this to one of the least of these you neglected to do it for me to me and they will go away to eternal punishment the world choose to eternal life the gospel of the lord today's gospel is about the final judgment where the righteous and the wicked will be judged according to how they have treated jesus it's not about how we have treated others but how we have treated jesus that's the criteria for judgment and that treatment the lord speaks about is how we have treated jesus in other people how we have treated jesus in the poor the homeless those who are sick adults were in hospital and in prison so um land is a time the church is asking us to be more charitable and more considerate for other people who are suffering so our london observance is helping us to grow in that charity for others all the teachings as well as learning practices will help us to experience that aspect in our lives so today as we listen to the gospel let's think about these things things of the final judgment and how we are going to be judged so every time we are forced to make a decision in this life regarding other people let us be charitable and let us see jesus in them and that is the only way to escape those moments so let's have ask the lord for his help to experience that charity of jesus in our lives
