D2R - NEW RUNEWORD - WISDOM

[Music] what's up youtube miss lomassie here and uh we got one more rune word to discuss so so far as of right now this video three new runewords have been released on top of pattern and plague which are you know we already knew about though um but three new ones have been released found 4 2.4 so if there's more then we're going to dive into more we're going to see but this one i think is very interesting this one i think is i have some thoughts on it um that i want to get into so let's just let's just start it wisdom it is a three socket helmet pull ith held and let's let's dive in 33 chance for pierce so instantly right there that is the razor tail is no longer the thing that you're gonna have to use you could now throw on a wisdom instead and swap your belt out for something else and still hit your 100 pierce 20 bonus to attack rating so you already we're seeing they're buffing this on again right five percent mana stolen per hit another really big buff to the zone uh 30 percent ed tend to energy 15 slower stamina drain uh so 10 energy is also nice for four zones and stuff because they can use a lot of mana cannot be frozen five to mana after each kill and 15 damage taken goes to mana so my two thoughts are this one i love this as a temp two i hate that this cost a poll rune those are those are both of my thoughts on it and the thoughts go exactly like this one if i'm playing through this game and i happen let's say to stumble upon a paul rune i'm going to be ecstatic if i'm a boson or even not a boson even if i'm some other character that needs cannot be frozen because right now the only guaranteed way to get cannot be frozen is rhyme shield that's the only like way that i can really create otherwise i'm hoping i find a death sash i'm hoping i find spirit shroud i'm hoping that i find raven frost like all of these uniques kind of exist but you know it's you're just having to to to find it and so if you can if you can't find that you're screwed you can only make the rhyme that's kind of your guaranteed way you do the nightmare towers you get the the you know the runes and you make yourself a rhyme shield so you can have cannot be frozen now finding some other way to create that such as a helm would be superb because not only can rhyme shield is rhyme shield like just the only thing that exists you can't even have it on all the characters because again what does a boson do she can't have a shield so how do i get cannot be frozen on a boson i physically like can't have that unless i find an item that has it right so enter wisdom suddenly something that goes hey you can have your cannot be frozen and also be a boson or and also do some other things and that's really nice um and you get a little mana per kill and you get some energy and some man of steel which is huge because you know bosons need that man of steel really badly and a little bit of pierce and and ar and all of this and this isn't just for the boson this could be for any of those melee characters any of those physical characters that need that attack cannot be frozen now new way to get it um which is huge but it cost a poll rune and when are you getting the pole rune like you can yeah throw barb this could also be great for a throw barb but like it's so hard to get a pull rune on a play through i mean i've played through this game thousands and thousands of times and without gifting myself a pull run from another character you don't really find a porn that often like you get it from your nightmare forge or you can spend forever in the tower in hell but without cannot be frozen good luck being in the tower in hell and trying to do all this stuff so it's like the the expense versus where where it should be i really dislike it poll is too expensive for where it should be it's a wonderful wonderful temp and you say you could easily find lems no you can't i've played through this game thousands of times finding three limbs is not easy to do that'll take forever uh again i don't like that they put it in a diadem because then the required level says 64 but people think um you know it is required level 64 when it's going to be lower than that it's actually required level 45. so it's it's better there but it should even be lower i mean again boson's need some love through this game and this is literally what this helm is about when i look at this helm i say oh they're creating a temp helm that's whole purpose is to temporarily temporarily fill in until you get a better helm because this is not end game some of you might be like oh no it is end game it's not a boson is going to use a 120 45 or some other helmet that's going to bring so much more value um so much more damage than this so it's not an endgame helmet this is like lore for the caster ort soul plus one to all skills 30 light res glow mana per kill tend to energy it's just a small little helm you throw on it's nice for you know 20 levels or so and then you upgrade to a real helmet for your end game that will actually be solid but it doesn't it for the poll rune it's just too expensive and i know a normal player player's not getting a 120 45 but even still there's just gonna be better helmets than this for the end game so ultimately i think you still end up just using the razor tail you know like i still don't think this becomes an end game helmet yeah g-school is still better andy's visage is still better guillaume's face is still better there's there's still so many helmets that are not super expensive that are just going to be better helmets overall so this isn't even like budget end game is is kind of the problem to me it's it's below budget end game and yet above that middle game where it really needs to shine like this needs to be io if eld in my opinion 100 and then you can farm it from the nightmare countess and now you get a little bit of pierce you get a little bit of ar and man of steel and energy and cbf which is really nice it'll be great to carry you through nightmare maybe you'll use it through part of hell and then you'll be good even something like co-withheld i'd be okay with something in there something in that range it's just paul rune if you find a poll rune you're just gonna trade that pole for a razor raven frost and a razor tail like there's no reason to make this helmet uh with your pole rune and uh probably a g face as well you could probably get like all three of those for for the pull rune um so yeah so i think this is the my most disagreed with rune runeword because it's so close to perfect iotheld coeth eld lumith eld something like that put it in that mid section co would be nice because the decks yeah put it in that mid section right there and it just becomes super sweet because it just is it's perfect and that's what bosons especially physical bosons really needed if i want to make that multi-shot boaz on and run her through the game further or you know anything like that even even if i want to make i mean you know a melee character with it or i want to make an exploding arrows on or something like that the addition of the pierce the addition of the energy the addition of the canopy frozen and mana per kill is huge so grabbing those is fantastic and i would 100 percent um you know love to have it on so many characters in so many cases and i would use this helm so much but the problem is it's the pull run is worth more than anything that this helmet can provide so what's the point of ever putting the pull rune in it when i can always get more for it you know it's so close i love everything about it except the first rune it like completely tanks it i don't think it's gonna have i think it's going to have barely any use whatsoever because of that so that's that's my thoughts on wisdom right there that's my wisdom on wisdom uh we'll see maybe i mean maybe people disagree it's totally fine if you disagree you think oh no it'll be great i'll definitely use this once i get that poll rune later on i mean that's that's totally cool you know when especially when ptr comes out and we're testing and all that stuff i think um it'll be very smart to to give that feedback anyways and if you are sharing stuff back in your stash this could maybe be something nice right there um you know put this in a three open socket barb helm with some nice things and then share it back to my barbarian that could be kind of fun but at the same time i could also just get in ariats and some other stuff and share that back and i mean i'm probably just gonna choose ariats and raven frost over this you know i don't know throw barb is is kind of interesting but all right let's leave it i'd love to hear you guys thoughts on it down below in the comments
