Custom Thumb Stud!? Gerber Assert #knife #shorts

now the Gerber assert lets you customize your deployment application it has a thumb stud on This Groove this is how it comes standard I don't really like it there it doesn't give me the right torque that I need with my thumb it kind of blocks the blade a little bit but with a T8 you can just loosen it up slide it all the way down and put it where you want that's where I like to have it but if you don't want a thumb stud at all you just back this sucker out all the way and now you have a thumb slit to deploy the blade on either side so it's ambidextrous got a good little grab there enough of it a lip to easily engage and deploy the blade that way so cool customization options let me know which way you would prefer to carry this Gerber assert with or without the thumb stud
