Salam alaikum my name is castle Hamad I will show you today how to interpret see you cm with Cisco unity connection you can integrate see you cm with Cisco unity or would suspend any connection and you can use each other's sccp can in protocol or set the configuration port integration part acquired to figuration one configuration on the Cu cm side and one on the voicemail side on the CCM side you will use the same procedure whether you are configure integrating with yes cisco unity of this community connection whereas from the voice mail server on the unity for planned unity you have a wizard on the Windows Server that you need to run to complete the integration whereas on the Cisco unity connection there is a few steps that you need to note in order to complete the integration there is many deployment options where you can have more than once you see m+ integrated with the same voice mail server or you can have your CCM cluster integrated with different voicemail Aster's and also you can have one cisco unity server 28 well or you can have high availability unity servers have two servers for tendency or fail over so today we are going to show you how to integrate see you cm with cisco unity connection single server for any other deployments is almost the same conflation just a few options and you need to change here on my VMware I have CCM publisher subscriber and Cisco unity connection we'll start by the sea you see em side in order to do the integration between CCM and Cisco unity voicemail you need a voicemail port licensed the voicemail port license specify how many concurrent codes can be done between the Cu cm and Cisco empty cluster and those license port are only available on or only licensed on the unity side the CCM will allow you to create as many ports as you want but only those licensed ports will work so you eat just to go to CCM and add just the number of ports that you have license for on the Cisco unity next-gen side to start adding your voicemail ports you can have two options Cisco voicemail port or Cisco voicemail port wizard will use the voicemail port when I have a limited number of ports that I can add them manually or I or I can use the voicemail port wizard in order to complete the computation of work of course if you decided to add the voicemail ports manual you will need to create on add new this is the default integration you don't need to change that voice if you change it you have to know exactly what was in it because it is required on the Cisco unity connection side to complete the integration here you can put display and you need to select your device pool and device security mode should be known secure voice my port the device pool I used default and the direct name the number that if you call you will access the unity server through this port and I've used seven one zero one and plate say oh one we missed one option he this is the integration name it actually to specify the port number you can have from 1 to 250 for each voicemail integration name so I click Save it's showing here that registration is lifted this is because it not complete the integration on unity connection we will delete this voicemail port that we added because we are you we're going to use voicemail port wizard if you go to the voicemail port wizard it will give you here the integration name it will add with /vi 1 or - VI 1 for the first port and it will increment for each sport extra here it will ask you for the number of ports that you have and VMware we can add up to 2 ports only it will not allow you to use more than 2 ports then it will ask you for the the description just called unity the device pool default calling search space we will not use known location hop device security mode non secure that's it beginning directory number 7 1 0 1 we need to make sure that you have arranged numbers that are used by any other device or because the wizard will use this symbol and add incrementally for the we have now these spores these two ports and each of them has director number if you call this directory number will go directly directly to a port itself but we will we want to give the voicemail a number one bar only that if we call this number it will check the ports one by one to see which port is empty in order to use it so we will create for that a line group will add a link group we call voicemail line voicemail group and distribution algorithm we will use turn down so the UCM is gonna always check the port starting from the biggest the first spot till the end here we will search for our depth remember that we are using voicemail port and we have 7 1 0 1 & 7 1 0 2 we will add them and click Save now we will go to route hunt hunt list we will add a new hunt left VM list you can give it any description that you want and here it will ask you which Cisco Unified Communication Manager group Cisco Unified Communication Manager group is the list of your GCM servers the prioritized list of your CCM servers and you need to enable this hunt list and click on the check boxes for voicemail usage and then click Save now you need to add the a line group that you have just created to this list so if you have the list you will add the group to this list now this is actually used if you have more than one CSS community connection server and you need to make a failover between these two servers you will do integration with the first Cisco unity server configure ports like group first suspend connection server and then create another pause and associate them to another voicemail group for the second Cisco unity connection and then here you will add both of them and you will select which voicemail group is is going to be used first so the Cisco see UCM itself when it has a request for contacting Cisco the connection that will take the first voicemail group that is associated with the first server and in case this server term it will go to the second voicemail group that is associated to the second server will click Save and then we sit now we go to rob hunt the final step the hunt pilot hunt pilot is the directory number that when you call it will go to the line and check which port which voicemail port is empty so we will give 7 100 the hunt list we will use the voicemail s that created you will give the directory number and the hunt list we need to remove the provide outside dial tone into this check box and we are ready to go click Save and now our haunt group is ready it is added successfully now we will go to voicemail and we will create a message waiting indication port numbers those should be separate from the from the voicemail port numbers you need to create voice to message waiting indication port one for turning on and one for turning off so we'll add you give it seven one zero two for example description message waiting indication on respond also we need to give it a partition and calling search space that it allow it to call any other CUC and phone number you need to make sure that this message waiting indication cannot and set the pattern voice might exist with the same pattern and optician lists just so this is the second port of voicemail i i've used a phone directory number so we use 7.03 for message waiting indication on then we will add another one add new 7104 message waiting indication off and we'll keep it off now there's two options you need at the voicemail poor pilot and the voicemail profile the voicemail pilot if you see any Cisco phone it has a button for messaging by default this button if you press on it it cannot contact the Cisco unity connection server unless you specify here which voicemail pilot associated to this bottom so you need to tell the see you see em I think it is already there we will add a new for the second 100 you need to tell the CUC and that when someone pressed a voicemail or the messaging button on the phone it is going to seven 100 which is the same as your hunt pilot you can get any description that you want and you need to make sure you need to make sure that click on make this the default voicemail pilot for the system the second one is the voicemail profile the voicemail profile is used for the phones if you go to devices phones and select any director number when someone followed his voicemail his phone the voicemail this option is not specified it will not go to Cisco unity connection we are waiting to for the CTMS asian-based road again so I can show you the exact thing I am talking about okay here we are again go to device phone go to any form and then to the directory number of that phone if you go down you see this option the voicemail if you wanna this checkbox to work you need to specify a voicemail profile if you wanna forward your calls to the voicemail you have options either you will put the pilot number here like iPod seven 100 or I can use this checkbox if I use the if I want to use this checkbox I should tell the system that when somebody this checkbox this means that it should go to 7 100 this is a voicemail profile so I will add a new I will give it a descriptive name I want for forwarding for anything I want give it here you will select the pilot number seven 100 and you want to make sure that it takes this box to make this voicemail profile the default voicemail profile for the system now from the CCM side we have finished the integration we now want to navigate to unity connection
